"Stepping into this Tibetan-style B&B for the first time, I was immediately blown away! The rustic ******* architecture creates an incredible atmosphere. Waking up and opening the window, you're greeted with panoramic views of snow-capped mountains, villages, and a clear blue sky – the scenery is absolutely stunning. The viewing location is simply perfect. In the evenings, gathering around the fireplace, chatting and having a drink with the owner while listening to music was incredibly comforting and cured all my fatigue. It was truly relaxing, I'll definitely be back!"

"This B&B is right at the entrance to the scenic area, and the hygiene is excellent. You can look up at the entire ******* village from your window. The hostess is so kind, enthusiastic, and incredibly efficient. What's even better is that she's also an experienced traveler herself, and she gave us so many great itinerary suggestions. She really gave us the courage to overcome altitude sickness and embrace the stunning beauty of the Great Northwest! After checking out, we adjusted our route based on her insider tips, and our trip was incredibly fulfilling. It truly showed us why Western Sichuan is called a 'must-drive destination in this lifetime' and opened up a whole new world for us. "This stay deserves full marks! As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the staff proactively greeted me and helped with my luggage, and even kindly pointed me to the parking spot. The dedicated parking space was spacious and easy to park in, which is so convenient for tourists traveling by car. Check-in was incredibly efficient; the receptionist provided smiling service throughout, patiently answering my questions about nearby attractions and even thoughtfully providing a local tourist brochure. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the facilities were complete. It was so quiet at night that I couldn't hear any outside noise at all, and I slept soundly until I naturally woke up. The breakfast the next day was plentiful, with both Chinese and Western dishes, and the taste was excellent. When I checked out, the staff even proactively asked about my stay; this thoughtfulness is truly rare. Next time I travel to Danba, I will definitely stay at the Jimei Hotel again!"

"It was a rather unexpected B&B. The owner directly upgraded the room to a starry sky terrace room. The boss is simple and honest. Since it is the off-season and there is only our family there, he said the place is empty anyway. "Two years ago, I passed by Jiaju ******* Village and regretted not staying overnight. 🤭 This time, my trip to Western Sichuan led me to choose the Light and Forest Cliff Hotel, and it was absolutely rewarding! A special thanks to the lovely ladies at the front desk for their thoughtful service. The room was clean and bright. Since we arrived a bit late that day, the front desk had already turned on the air conditioning for us, which was such a warm gesture for our tired group after a long journey. 👍 The hotel is perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the great environment; the pictures speak for themselves! Early in the morning, the misty clouds make for fantastic photo opportunities. The restaurant's dishes were also quite good. I rarely write reviews, but I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers."

"The hotel environment is excellent! The parking lot is large, convenient for travelers with cars. Rooms offer mountain views, as does the restaurant, and there's also an open-air lounge area with views of the snow-capped mountains.
The decor is very tasteful, the bedding is very comfortable, the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, and it's very clean. There's also an adorable little white cat."

"I had the most amazing stay during my time in China! Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed with blessings from the grandmother and a cup of fresh milk. They even upgraded my room without me asking.
Since I had limited time in town, I asked the host to guide me—and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful days of my entire trip. He brought me to stunning scenic spots, temples, and towers, and we shared an unforgettable dinner. The entire family was incredibly kind and made sure I felt at home every moment.
The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The location is perfect—close to the bus station and surrounded by great restaurants. Don’t miss the chance to join the locals dancing in the square nearby!
I couldn’t recommend this place more. Truly an experience to remember."

"The host and his family were incredibly kind. They helped us carry our car full of luggage upstairs.
They're pet-friendly; we brought our cat with us for free, and the hostess looked at it lovingly. The hostess's dog wasn't shy at all, even lying on the floor with its belly exposed.
The room was spotless; the mother wiped the floor with a tissue, leaving no dirt.
What a kind family! I wish you all the best!"

GGuest UserDuring my trip to western Sichuan, I really want to give this B&B a 5-star rating. The appearance of the B&B has a unique ******* style, the interior decoration is modern and simple, the facilities are complete, and the rooms are warm and comfortable. The boss is sincere and enthusiastic, and the wife is capable and generous.
I checked in relatively late that day, and the landlady even helped me cook the food, which was so considerate. When you come here, you must try their delicious chicken soup hot pot. I tasted the long-lost aroma of chili pepper here, the taste of my childhood.
In short, if you come to Jiaju Zangzhai, this is a highly recommended B&B that will bring you the warmth of home.

There is a small museum inside, and the hotel itself is a landscape. The housekeeper was very enthusiastic and introduced it in detail! GGuest UserWe stayed with friends at this wonderful hotel and were satisfied! The rooms are cozy, clean, there is a stunning view of nature around, and the price is very pleasant. The interior of the hotel is decorated in a traditional style, which allows you to feel immersed in the local culture. In addition, the hosts are an incredibly friendly family that creates a truly homely atmosphere. They are very nice, cook delicious food and apples grow in their garden, which they treat the guests with!
The owners are also very responsive - when I forgot the cape, they brought it to me in Danba, while again treating me to delicious fruits. Special thanks for the help with transportation and willingness to help with any questions that arise! If I have the opportunity to return to the neighborhood, I will choose this hotel!

Hosts are amazing. They welcomed me in their wonderful local house, and I felt like at home from the beginning. I shared the meals with them, and food was more than delicious and original! There's a garden and all the fruits and vegetables come from there. Eggs, milk, meats and butter are locally sourced. The room was spacious, very comfortable, well decorated with original ******* design. The toilet was clean and hot water was always available. There's a rooftop from where you can admire the stunning landscapes. I miss this place and my friends so much: I'll definitely go back because this place is unique and unforgettable.

GGuest UserI went to Jiaju ******* Village purely out of laziness. Coming down from Mount Siguniang, I wanted to find a place to relax and plan my next trip. The reason I booked the mountain wasn't because I'm arrogant, but because it was expensive. I've always believed in high quality at a high price, and it exceeded my expectations. Let's talk about the amenities first: the bedding was 100-count plus long-staple cotton, the toothbrush and toothpaste were from Sam's Club, and the large windows looked out onto the forest. Stargazing at night was mesmerizing. The homestay has five rooms, and the common areas include a restaurant, tea room, outdoor viewing platform, outdoor reading area, and outdoor coffee terrace. There's also a Tibetan-style semi-sun terrace on the second floor. Then, let's talk about the amenities: the owner and her family of three (the son came over on vacation to help out), and all our meals were prepared by the owner's wife, each delicious and delicious. The yak copper pot was definitely the best I had on my trip to western Sichuan, and the owner's coffee was unforgettable. The most important thing is the boss's familiarity with the western Sichuan route, which will definitely benefit travelers. With the boss's guidance, we went from the Dandao Secret Realm to the Huanxi Pass. It was beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Important things must be said three times. Next time I plan to stay there for ten days or half a month, just to daydream, read books and look at the stars.

GGuest UserMy husband and I had a wonderful one-night stay in this hostel. Upon check-in, the hostel automatically upgraded our room to the next bigger size, without any additional charge. The room is super clean with perfect white sheets and towels. The hostess then introduced us to hike up from her hostel. The hike was easy with a few mooing cows walked past us, and the historic trees were just amazingly beautiful, not to mention the thousand-year's old towers to admire for. After the hike, we then sat down comfortably in the dining room to enjoy a simple but tasteful home-cooked meal. That night, I slept the best and longest during my entire 6-day's trip. Next morning, after a bowl of hot noodles with eggs and veggies, the hostess invited us to walk up to her own tower and even offered to take photos for us from the best spot.
I highly recommended this hostel.

JJuan Manuel CaldaroniWe stayed for two nights and the view from the room is stunning. The tibetan-styled decoration is amazing and makes all the difference, but there were also a few downsides which I have to mention.
- For someone that does not speak Chinese, it is very hard to find. So we will write here how we did: from Tagong we took a shared vehicle to Bamei. From there, we took another shared vechicle to Danba, and from Danba, there are rural shared vehicles that will take you to Jiaju. I attach the image of the road sign where you need to get off. There is an entry fee to Jiaju town.
- Regarding this rural vehicle, comes the biggest disappointment of our stay, as we asked the owner of the hotel to call a vehicle for us (there is no other way to leave) and he replied “you can look for yourself and if you cannot find one, I will help you”… without a Chinese phone number and without speaking Chinese, it is impossible to call a local driver. So we mentioned this, and he called one driver. When we asked how much we should pay, he say 50 yuan for two people, same as he told us to pay on the way here, but his wife was there and got very angry at him because the real price was 15 yuan per person, and he was part of the rip off.
The lady was very friendly and helpful, on the other side, so we want to thank her for her help as she tried to help us.
Despite this, we still reccommend you to come as it is a beautiful place and there are walking paths that you can use to walk everywhere in town.
The shared toilet was not a problem, hot water works well.

MM6095****The butler upgraded us to a loft room with a bathtub. It's a Tibetan-style building, and the interior decor also has a ******* flair. You can step directly from the second floor onto a huge outdoor terrace to enjoy the views. The room was very comfortable, the service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. The scenery of the ******* village is beautiful, and the food was delicious. This was the best place to stay during our entire trip through Western Sichuan with no altitude sickness. Highly recommended!

JjecnvaWe had the most pleasant stay here. The guesthouse was a little hard to find in the dark, so the owner came outside to the parking to pick us up and even carried my bag. He was very welcoming, considerate and helpful during our stay. We had everything we needed, the room was beautifully decorated and clean. The provided traditional breakfast was outstanding (corn bread, rice porridge, cooked eggplant, cucumber salad and sour cabbage)! Most of the ingredients come fresh out of the garden. There is also a menu with many other delicious dishes that you can order for lunch and dinner. When we left, the owner organized the transport for us back to Danba and took us to the ”station”. We highly recommend staying in this wonderful guesthouse and gorgeous little town Jiaju!
