Danba Hotels with Bars

"We arrived late in the afternoon and enjoyed the beautiful view from the terrace looking out over the Zhonglu village and valley floor below. We were greeted by two golden labs that accompanied us as we strolled through the village experiencing the local culture and cuisine. Dinner was excellent, with a hot pot chicken soup with fresh vegetables as well as a delicious egg dish cook cooked in a rich, savory tomato sauce. In the morning, we enjoyed exploring the village and chatting with the locals as well as watching a local fellow building a new house. It was interesting to watch him work, carving the wood into ceiling panels that he hung without any nails or glue. We were also invited to pick as many plums as we could eat from a tree that was simply exploding with ripe juicy plums!"

"Two years ago, I passed by Jiaju ******* Village and regretted not staying overnight. 🤭 This time, my trip to Western Sichuan led me to choose the Light and Forest Cliff Hotel, and it was absolutely rewarding! A special thanks to the lovely ladies at the front desk for their thoughtful service. The room was clean and bright. Since we arrived a bit late that day, the front desk had already turned on the air conditioning for us, which was such a warm gesture for our tired group after a long journey. 👍 The hotel is perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the great environment; the pictures speak for themselves! Early in the morning, the misty clouds make for fantastic photo opportunities. The restaurant's dishes were also quite good. I rarely write reviews, but I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers."

"The Jipo Shangmo Hotel in Danba is a tastefully decorated establishment that seamlessly blends ******* and modern design elements. It's immediately clear that the owner has poured their heart into running it. Speaking of facilities, the hotel features a charming courtyard. It's beautifully elegant, brimming with fresh flowers and succulents, creating an enchanting and tranquil environment perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. Adding to its unique charm, the courtyard houses an ancient watchtower alongside a Tibetan-style building, giving the hotel a profound sense of history and cultural heritage. The hotel offers two room styles: one is traditionally *******, rich in local aesthetics, and the other is modern, sleek, and contemporary. Our modern room was not only spacious and beautifully designed but also featured a balcony. What truly excited us was witnessing a wild pheasant and its chicks strolling on the balcony late one night – a truly unforgettable moment! I must also commend the hotel's kitchen; it's incredibly spacious and, more importantly, impeccably clean and tidy. I even felt compelled to take a photo! On the service front, the owner's family was incredibly warm and hospitable, providing impeccable service. We arrived at 9:40 PM last night, and the owner was already waiting for us at the entrance, helped us park, and even kindly upgraded both of our rooms. Despite our late arrival, the owner's wife prepared a delicious meal for us. Her cooking was absolutely superb and very reasonably priced – truly great value for money! Today at lunch, she even specially made us a complimentary bowl of spicy noodles. It was not only free but also incredibly delicious; we finished every last bite! In summary, our entire family was exceptionally pleased with our stay at the Jipo Shangmo Hotel. Should we have the opportunity to visit Danba County again, we would undoubtedly choose this hotel once more."

"The room was spacious and clean. The underground parking was large, which was a significant advantage in this small county town. The room faced the town and had a nice view, but the square dancing downstairs didn't end until around 9 PM. There were many convenient restaurants downstairs, and the hotel breakfast was decent."

"An absolutely wonderful stay! If you love a quiet, pastoral life, you absolutely must consider this place! The owner is incredibly kind, helping with luggage, bringing fresh fruit, and the breakfast was healthy and delicious. Our room was very bright and airy, with several large windows. Opening them at night to enjoy the breeze and fresh air felt like time had slowed down. The B&B has its own parking lot, complete with charging stations. If you stay here, I highly recommend dining in; the ingredients are fresh and tasty, and the dining environment is very comfortable. There are many thoughtful details throughout the property, such as wind chimes hanging in the tree next to the dining area, which create a delightful, crisp sound in the breeze; small bells on the room doors that jingle every time you open them; and a special guestbook for visitors' messages. I read through all the entries – turns out, the previous guests who stayed in this room were quite interesting… My husband and I were both sad to leave before check-out; we truly felt at home here. Next time, we'll pick a sunny day and come back for another stay, and hopefully catch a glimpse of the starry sky over the village."

It's incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. 🛋️ **Facilities:** The room was even more spacious and brighter than I expected. The decor is simple and cozy. The bedding was just the right firmness, and the bathroom had an excellent wet-dry separation. The hot water was instant and the water pressure was strong, making showers incredibly refreshing. You can tell the owner puts a lot of heart into running this place, paying attention to every detail. 💁 **Service:** The service was warm, thoughtful, and attentive. The front desk lady enthusiastically helped us with our luggage during check-in and even upgraded our room type for free. 🍲 **Dining:** For dinner, we had a local specialty, matsutake mushroom chicken hotpot, and for breakfast, rice noodles. Both were absolutely delicious!"

"I really want to thank the boss for helping us solve the transportation in and out of Danba! The road to the B&B is under construction, and it will be easier to get in and out after it is repaired. There are real buildings, apple trees and sacred mountain scenery in the B&B. Boss look at me Greedy apples, let me pick a few, they are indeed sour and crispy that I like feel. Dinner is 40 yuan per person, with dishes prepared by the boss. It feels like when the food is served There were too many, and I finally cleared them, so I knew the taste was really good."

"Our history was very kind. He cooked a delicious dinner for us for a small cost. Our room was clean and nice. The view remarkable. He hiked with us over the mountain to the next village the next day, which was a beautiful but tough hike. It is quite high altitude. I can really recommend the place!"

"The room we chose is on the top floor with a great view. The owner helped us with our luggage. This room occupies a whole floor with a large terrace. There are not many rooms in the entire homestay and it is very quiet. It is very suitable for vacation, family or friends gathering and sleeping until you wake up naturally. There are many watchtowers around the B&B, which are said to be almost a thousand years old. It's very relaxing to walk around and take a look. The boss’s cooking tastes good, the braised pork belly with green peppers and the roasted pork belly are delicious. Come back in the fall and stay for two days."

"The hotel environment is excellent! The parking lot is large, convenient for travelers with cars. Rooms offer mountain views, as does the restaurant, and there's also an open-air lounge area with views of the snow-capped mountains. The decor is very tasteful, the bedding is very comfortable, the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, and it's very clean. There's also an adorable little white cat."
