Adding to its unique charm, the courtyard houses an ancient watchtower alongside a Tibetan-style building, giving the hotel a profound sense of history and cultural heritage. The hotel offers two room styles: one is traditionally *******, rich in local aesthetics, and the other is modern, sleek, and contemporary. Our modern room was not only spacious and beautifully designed but also featured a balcony. What truly excited us was witnessing a wild pheasant and its chicks strolling on the balcony late one night – a truly unforgettable moment! I must also commend the hotel's kitchen; it's incredibly spacious and, more importantly, impeccably clean and tidy. I even felt compelled to take a photo! On the service front, the owner's family was incredibly warm and hospitable, providing impeccable service. We arrived at 9:40 PM last night, and the owner was already waiting for us at the entrance, helped us park, and even kindly upgraded both of our rooms. Despite our late arrival, the owner's wife prepared a delicious meal for us. Her cooking was absolutely superb and very reasonably priced – truly great value for money! Today at lunch, she even specially made us a complimentary bowl of spicy noodles. It was not only free but also incredibly delicious; we finished every last bite! In summary, our entire family was exceptionally pleased with our stay at the Jipo Shangmo Hotel. "I like it very much! So happy! I have to write a long review for the homestay I stayed in Danba at the end of October. The experience is really amazing. Now I think it's still aftertaste. First of all, the location is really great. The homestay is not in the downtown area, and it needs to be opened for a short road, but because of this, the environment is particularly quiet, and the sound of the wind and the faint sound of running water can be heard at night, and the quality of sleep has soared. And it is very close to the main observation deck and the relics of Dongzhai. It takes only a few minutes to drive. It has enjoyed the tranquility and did not delay the play at all. It can be said to be ”easy to enter and retreat” and super convenient. Don't worry about not finding it at all, the traffic is really convenient. It takes only ten minutes to drive from Danba County. The navigation can be directly to the door. The parking lot is still spacious and there is no need to find a parking space. I want to go to the surrounding Jiaju Tibetan Village or Middle Road Tibetan Village. I told the boss that he can also help contact the local chartered car. The whole space is filled with a strong Tibetan cultural atmosphere. It doesn't feel like a store, but it's more like walking into a lively small museum of national culture. The boss and staff are very enthusiastic. As soon as we arrived, the boss smiled and greeted us with luggage, and poured us warm butter tea, which instantly dispersed the cold on the road. In the evening, we chatted around the stove, and the boss told us a lot of local stories. About the ancient temple of Danba and the customs of Jiarong Tibetans, we listened to us with relish and felt a lot of knowledge. What surprised me the most was that the boss invited us to pick fungus the next morning. This season, there are many bacteria in the mountains. We followed the boss in the forest behind the hotel (less than 50 meters) while shopping and learning to recognize the bacteria. Which can be eaten and which is poisonous. The boss said that he was right. Although most of the last picks are not delicious or can not eat, but the process of finding and discovery is really too happy, full of wild fun, for my long-expected city ”plant blindness”, it is simply a top enjoyment. In general, this stay far exceeded the meaning of one night's stay. It is a deep Danba style experience, which makes me feel the quiet environment, convenient transportation, deep Tibetan culture, warm service, and unique homestay activity culture.
