"The room was great, facing the square, which made it super convenient to watch the flag-raising ceremony. Breakfast was decent too. The cleaning staff were incredibly diligent. However, upon check-in, I wasn't informed about the breakfast location. Also, I had booked two packages, and on the third day, they thought I had checked out, even though I had clearly explained my stay duration upon arrival. This caused my room card to stop working. They were very apologetic afterward and even sent fruit as an apology, which was a nice gesture."

"This is an excellent hotel with comprehensive facilities and stylish decor. All disposable amenities are provided. The staff are very polite and courteous. It's quite close to the airport, but without the noise.
They offer an airport shuttle service, which is convenient. However, it's a shared shuttle service for several hotels, which was new to me. When I first arrived, I thought I was at the right place for check-in, but after a while, I realized it was a Hanting hotel (a different chain) – the driver didn't say anything.

"This was the last hotel I stayed at during my trip to Fujian, and it was also the best experience. The hotel's overall design felt high-end, luxurious, and spotlessly clean, which pleasantly surprised me. The front desk staff were beautiful and enthusiastic, and they proactively asked if I needed airport transfer services. Especially at night, when I requested mineral water, they thoughtfully had a robot deliver warm water. The room facilities were complete, and the shampoo and shower gel were of excellent quality. The hotel's location is also superb, only a 10-minute drive to the airport. Highly recommended!"

"We had stayed in Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel for 4 nights and then extended for another 2 nights. The Executive Floor rooms are spacious, well maintained and with good views. The many value added services that came with the Executive Room was a very pleasant surprise. These included daily access to the Exec Lounge for high tea and happy hour, one piece of free laundry per day, free mini bar drinks and daily fruit platter (both replenished daily). The service staff stationed on the Executive Floor is efficient, responsive and always ready to greet us with a cheerful smile. The hotel is just next to West Lake and cane be conveniently access via access gate to the broadwalk.

Environment: Right inside the airport, a few minutes' walk. The greenery and environment should be very nice, but I woke up late after staying overnight and didn't see anything.
Service: The gentleman at the front desk was excellent. He alleviated my anxiety about missing my flight when I missed the shuttle and helped my mother with her luggage into a taxi. When we checked in at night, he thoughtfully provided breakfast, which isn't easy to get early in the morning the next day.
Both the hotel and Airport Baixiang Media are subordinate and equal-level enterprises of Xiamen Airport, making them trustworthy.
Drawbacks: The phone operators and front desk staff could use more training. The hotel actually has designated parking spots with signs at Airport Gate 6, but the staff didn't mention it, perhaps because they haven't seen it themselves at the airport. This would give customers more confidence in finding a spot. It's also quite difficult to reach the driver by phone, probably because many people are calling. When boarding, it would be best if staff could maintain order, perhaps by issuing numbers. People were haphazardly loading luggage and getting on, and then some had to get off because it was full. Also, it would be better if the signs clearly indicated where to get off for each stop. There are 3 stops, and the stop names don't perfectly match the room/hotel names, which makes it confusing, so you have to ask the driver each time."

"The hotel room I booked was a Luxury Executive River View Room, facing the southwest corner. The views and natural light were excellent, and privacy was high. It's truly one of Fuzhou's top room types. The interior space is large, with mostly wooden flooring and some carpeting – very impressive. The hotel also features a pool and gym with fantastic views, as well as an afternoon tea restaurant, all of which are of a very high standard. The afternoon tea cakes are freshly made, and the breakfast selection is quite rich and delicious, with fresh and light flavors. If I had to mention any shortcomings, it would be that some in-room facilities could be upgraded. For instance, the toilet isn't automatic, and the showerhead and faucet operation are a bit too traditional and impractical. There aren't full-room electric curtains, and the TV clarity isn't great. Also, the toothbrushes and toothpaste aren't from a well-known brand. If they could upgrade these details, it would be perfect.
**Cleanliness**: Very clean and tidy, satisfactory.
**Service**: There's butler service and reception at the entrance to help with luggage, etc. Check-in required queuing due to many guests, but the service felt very good.
**Environment/Location**: The location is excellent, right in the city center. Minjiang Park is right at your doorstep, and nearby shopping malls and attractions are not far, all within a short taxi ride.

"The Pullman hotel comes highly recommended. Its location is super convenient, right above Taihe Plaza, so you don't have to go far for dining or shopping. Parking is also a breeze.
Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding, and the soundproofing at night was excellent, ensuring a very restful sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and was well-equipped.

Environment: Better than expected, with a warm, Instagram-esque decor. The room has a rooftop terrace, which was very comfortable. It's only a 20-30 minute e-bike ride from the southern and northern tourist attractions.
Service: The owner was very attentive and personally picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel.
Amenities: Plenty of hot water, effective air conditioning, and the room comes with disposable bath towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and face towels.

The service was excellent, and they even offered intangible cultural heritage experiences, which my child thoroughly enjoyed. The room was very bright and spacious, and the cleanliness was top-notch. You truly get what you pay for; it was indeed a very comfortable stay. It's worth mentioning that even though the hotel's breakfast was vegetarian, it was absolutely delicious 😋.

The room was clean, bright, and elegantly designed, creating a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. Thoughtful touches were everywhere, from complimentary chilled drinks to free biscuits that made us feel genuinely cared for.
Breakfast was another highlight, featuring fresh ingredients and authentic flavors served by an energetic and proud team. The complimentary late-night supper further demonstrated Atour's attentiveness to its guests' needs.
Just when we thought the service couldn't be more thoughtful, as we were about to leave, a staff member gently asked, ”Would you like a bottle of water for your journey?” 🥹 That simple gesture encapsulated the entire Atour experience: pure, unpretentious kindness.
The location is ideal, with a subway station just steps away, a supermarket across the street, the train station nearby, and a delicious Hakka restaurant right behind the hotel.

The facilities are super new, and there are even disposable face towels in the washbasin, which is highly praised! Even the hair dryer is a Dyson! ! After we moved in, we asked Receptionist No. 1 to accompany the guests. The cat car was super nice and the brother Luoye Zhiqiu's attitude was also super, super nice! ! They also thoughtfully informed me about renovations next door, which was great as I was out all day and the noise didn't disturb me when I returned at night. The hygiene was excellent, making for a worry-free stay. There's also complimentary coffee and snacks at the bar, which was lovely for a warm drink on the go in the mornings. Getting a taxi outside is very convenient, and there's a subway station nearby. I highly recommend this hotel for both business trips and leisure travel.

GGuest UserThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel.
We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (前台小李). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable.
The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (陈虹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed.
Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (前台小李). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if there’s anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (陈虹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (前台小李) and Chen Hong (西餐厅陈虹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore.

AAnh-BaoThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.
