I had a great experience staying at this hotel. They even offered a free late checkout until 3 PM and complimentary breakfast, which was very helpful as I had something to attend to that day. The front desk service was excellent and very thoughtful. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Fuzhou.

Just when we thought the service couldn't be more thoughtful, as we were about to leave, a staff member gently asked, ”Would you like a bottle of water for your journey?” 🥹 That simple gesture encapsulated the entire Atour experience: pure, unpretentious kindness. The location is ideal, with a subway station just steps away, a supermarket across the street, the train station nearby, and a delicious Hakka restaurant right behind the hotel. The room was absolutely stunning! The moment I opened the door, I knew the ocean view was worth every penny. You can definitely get some amazing photos right from your room. It's clear the owner has a great eye for design. The amenities in the room were also very comprehensive – even a Dyson hairdryer and facial tissues in the bathroom, which shows real attention to detail. We drove here, and parking was super convenient and free. The butler's service attitude was excellent too. And breakfast was quite tasty. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Pingtan!

Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately greeted by a pleasant aroma, which even made my child reluctant to leave, although I was only staying one night as a stopover to Pingtan. The beds are larger than usual, 1.35 meters wide, and very comfortable. You can walk to Sanfang Qixiang from here, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. It was a perfect stay. My favorite part was the small table, so convenient for placing food and drinks, haha. It's only an eight-minute walk.

Why did I give it a 5-star review? Because I was afraid no one would read this one! Trip.com, be honest with me, did you take money for this? How can there only be 60 bad reviews? 1. I'm a seasoned hiker with tough skin, used to roughing it outdoors. I've stayed in countless hotels, big and small, cheap and expensive, in so many cities. This is the FIRST hotel that has made my skin itch! My pajamas were short-sleeved and shorts, and my exposed skin was itchy, but the covered parts weren't. That clearly points to the bedding. For someone like me, who's never had allergies, to be scratching all night long – that's quite an achievement for them! (I just hope my body can withstand this onslaught). 2. Service? I wouldn't know. I arrived at 2 PM, left at 2:30 PM to explore Sanfang Qixiang (which was boring), and was back at the hotel lying down by 4:30 PM. Around 5 PM, the hotel called to ask if it was convenient to send up some fruit. I declined. 3. The room is indeed small, but it didn't bother me as I only had a backpack. However, it might be an issue for those with large suitcases. And no shower cap? I find that really hard to understand. Do Fuzhou people wash their hair every day? 4. Soundproofing... I initially chose this hotel because it's right by the subway station, and there's even a police station right outside. My regret is precisely this location. Because it's a prime spot at a busy intersection, lying in bed felt no different from lying on the street (I specifically checked if all windows were closed). 5. This hotel gives me the impression that 'we're well-known + have a long history + we're a state-owned enterprise, so we don't care if you stay or not' (is this how all state-owned enterprises are nationwide?). 6. A quick side note (not really related to the hotel): This is a prime location in the city center. Outside my window were two residential buildings, and there was construction noise at 1 AM! Are Fuzhou people really that tolerant? I immediately called the citizen hotline to report it. I called at 1:30 AM, the noise stopped at 2:00 AM, and unlucky me, I was writing this review on my phone's notepad at 3:20 AM. 7. I saw many reviews saying the breakfast was good, so I played some 'Candy Crush' while scratching, waiting for breakfast to start, before writing my true review. 8. Finally, dawn broke, and I had breakfast. Trip.com, even if you don't answer me, you definitely took money! Why did so many people say the breakfast was delicious? The Western section had mini steamed buns like those on an airplane... The Chinese section had steamed dumplings, mixed noodles, and jianbing (savory crepes)... No coffee machine, just instant coffee powder. In summary: After a sleepless night, I'm sitting here eating breakfast and scratching myself, even in places I can't reach on my back. If I can't curse, then I have nothing left to say!

The B&B is located in a residential area, close to schools. The courtyard has a charming, antique design, and our upgraded room came with a hot spring pool, which was lovely for a soak before bed. The toiletries and bedding were also good. The only downside was the noise on weekday mornings – the school's broadcast exercises and the sound of electric drills from nearby renovations could disturb guests who wanted to sleep in. This is, of course, out of their control. Breakfast was ample, with default items plus a good selection of choices. The mixed noodles, multigrain porridge, and corn were all delicious!

After staying in a guesthouse on our first night, we decisively switched to a hotel for the second – and the difference was incredible! The room was spotless, and the hotel's central location in the county town was incredibly convenient, especially since we were traveling with kids. Eating out was a nightmare when we were at the guesthouse. Parking here was also a breeze, and they even had charging stations.

An excellent stay, especially suitable for families with children. The hotel is conveniently located right behind the beach, making it super easy to take kids for some fun in the sand. They also offer fast-charging stations and complimentary parking for guests, which is great for those driving. Dining at the hotel is convenient too, with delicious Fuzhou local specialties that are both good quality and affordable. The service was fantastic; they even upgraded us to a family room for free. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

The hotel room is clean and comfortable, the service is warm, the children's park is out, there is a forest park nearby, there are many green plants around, the environment is beautiful, it is very convenient to go to Sanfang Qixiang, and I will stay in Fuzhou next time.
