"Very nice stay. The lady boss was so enthusiastic and helpful. She was so kind to help me with everything. I was the only one at the time so she gave me a big king bedroom with bathroom. The location is about 30-minute walking to the Dagu park, which is fine for me as I like walking. Recommend to stay here."

"Extremely satisfied! I booked my stay on ***** New Year's Eve quite early. Originally, the owner wasn't planning on operating and wanted to close for the holiday, but they still accepted our booking and hosted us. We arrived around 8 or 9 PM that evening, and the owner was waiting for us and even presented us with a blessed Hada (******* ceremonial scarf). Before arriving, I called ahead to ask if dinner was available. The owner's chef was on holiday, so they arranged for the restaurant next door to wait for us, where we had a delicious clear yak meat hot pot.
The hotel room's overall decor is in the ******* style, which my parents loved, and the price during the Chinese New Year period was very reasonable. Breakfast was prepared by the owner and his wife. They even asked about our planned departure time so they could get up and wait for us. The dumplings 🥟 were delicious, and the owner's wife thoughtfully gave a small red envelope 🧧 to the child. So considerate! Thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"Hygiene: Very clean, and they even provide disinfectant alcohol (Picture 3), which is great for germaphobes! The tissues are also from C&S.
Environment: There are many guesthouses nearby, all run by locals, offering a very authentic local experience.
Facilities: We drove here. If you need to charge your car, you can do so at a fish restaurant next door. You can also cast movies from your phone to the TV in the room.
Service: You can book tickets for Dagu Glacier through the host, which is slightly cheaper than booking yourself. They also prepare their own breakfast, which includes butter tea and is quite unique.
If you're looking for places to eat, I recommend the Hade Plaza in Heishui County, as there are more options there. We tried a ******* restaurant called Xiangnage, and the food was pretty good."

"This is a brand new hotel that has everything. You can easily walk to the food district, and there's a large convenience store right at the entrance of the alley. The room is spacious, and the bathroom has separate toilet and shower areas. If you don't mind that the towels are disposable and a bit thinner than usual, then it's a perfectly comfortable and excellent stay. It's also not far from Takashimaya."

"We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and again, the owner was incredibly kind. The hotel facilities were excellent. What really stood out was that the street the hotel is on has so many great food options, and shopping nearby is super convenient with big supermarkets and everything. Heishui feels much more developed than we initially imagined, and the ******* people here are so warm and welcoming – the owner is ******* too, haha! I rarely leave reviews like this, but this experience was truly fantastic and made me so happy. I can't even imagine how inconvenient our remaining two days would have been if the owner hadn't driven us to attractions and picked us up. Anyone seeing this review and booking this hotel is incredibly lucky. You really can't go wrong with this place!"

"We stayed at the Heishui and Siguniang Mountain resorts for three days and absolutely loved the butler service at Gar Manor! From the moment we got off the bus, we were completely taken care of. The butler eagerly carried our luggage and checked us in, making it incredibly easy.
The breakfast was plentiful, with a mix of whole grains and protein. The warm black pig's trotters and stir-fried pork in the evening were a thoughtful touch. The most touching thing was that the butler even brought us an umbrella on a rainy day, holding it for us along the way and providing hot tea. These little touches are truly heartwarming!
The mountain-view loft we stayed in at Siguniang Mountain had a fantastic view, with both floors offering views of the lake and mountains. On a clear day, the lake sparkled like diamonds, while on a rainy day, the misty clouds shrouded the place like a fairyland. It truly soothed me here and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Siguniang Mountain!"

1️⃣ The hostess is incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful, reminding us of all the little details.
2️⃣ The twin beds are huge, easily accommodating two people, and the room comes with a humidifier with a very clean water tank (a lifesaver for allergy sufferers like me).
3️⃣ Even with just an AC and an electric blanket, it was incredibly warm. No worries about catching a cold. For someone like me who can't stand direct AC wind, I just set it to the lowest fan speed and still felt perfectly cozy. The bathroom's heated fan (Yuba) was also very powerful.
4️⃣ We had dinner at the hotel, and the hotpot dipping sauce was absolutely delicious! 😋 Plus, the vegetables had a subtle sweetness (first time ever experiencing that, and I loved it!). The whole set meal was more than enough for two people.
5️⃣ The rooms are equipped with disposable toilet seat covers, towels, and more – a dream come true for germaphobes!
6️⃣ The charging station isn't in the hotel's parking lot, but it's very close, just a 2-minute walk away.
7️⃣ It's about a 5-minute drive to the Dagu Glacier scenic area, making it perfect for those traveling by car.

GGuest UserThe hotel is nicely decorated and clean. We loved the big windows and view. Beds are comfortable and the owners are nice. It's located up a hill, and they don't have a restaurant, so if you don't have a car and want to eat dinner, it's difficult to walk back up. I booked this hotel because they have a room with a big hot tub. But it was a big disappointment. The water source for this tub is a kitchen type faucet, which does not work for a big tub. It took hours just to fill one-fourth of it, and water coming out was not hot enough. And even if it were hot enough, the hours that it will take to fill the tub would eventually make the water cold. It was too late that we realized this so we ended up not using it. There were a lot of things wrong with this tub. When you want to soak in a hot tub, it would only take a few minutes before the water turns cold, so you would want to drain some water, and refill with hot water several times. But clearly with the type of faucet they put there, that was impossible.
Another thing, when we were eating our breakfast, the owner was smoking in the next table.

GGuest UserMy friend has been recommending this hotel to me since he came here last year. After experiencing it, I feel that it is indeed worthy of its reputation! It has been open for four or five years. The facilities and equipment of the ******* house are well maintained. The beds in the room are very soft and comfortable, and the sanitary environment of the entire manor is also very good.
The service of the housekeeper and the restaurant is even better. The most comfortable thing is that when you meet the hotel staff on the road, they will greet you warmly, and you really feel at home.
I heard that autumn is the most beautiful time here. Next time you have a chance, you must come and see it! See the spring scenery once and the autumn scenery once

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Heishui Yunhu Boutique B&B! The floor-to-ceiling glass design provides excellent natural light, and the views outside the window are picturesque. The facilities are modern and thoughtfully designed, exuding a high-end feel. The cleanliness is impeccable; it's the tidiest B&B I've ever stayed in. The butler service is meticulous and heartwarming. As a 'Golden Panda Certified B&B,' the public spaces are incredibly rich, with a café, book bar, and photography studio that are both relaxing and engaging. The hundred-year-old walnut tree within adds so much character. It's only 6km from Dagu Glacier, a few minutes' drive, and about 10-odd kilometers to San'ao Snow Mountain. The owner can also help purchase discounted scenic area tickets. Life in the county is convenient, making it perfectly suited for both self-driving tours and leisurely trips. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic!

It's very close to the scenic area, and the owner arranged for someone to pick us up and drop us off. We loved the style of our room—it was spacious, bright, comfortable, and clean. The air conditioning was adjustable and provided warmth, so we didn't feel cold at night! It was super cozy! It's a whole guesthouse with its own courtyard, and the owner was very welcoming—they even helped us with our luggage! So thoughtful! I'd definitely book this guesthouse again next time I come back. GGuest UserThe room is very spacious, clean, and comfy. This is the only hotel I found during my entire trip that has a bidet. The thing I appreciate the most is the service. The staff there were extremely welcoming and warm; they even offered us fruits and candies. When the kettle had a problem, they delivered a new one along with a bunch of water bottles without us even asking for it. I truly appreciate everything about this hotel.
When I left my belongings behind, they immediately contacted me through WeChat and offered to send my items via SF Express. Even until the very end, they continued to provide 100% service. I’ve never written such a long review before, but this time I felt it was totally worth it. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel if I visit 黑水 again.

GGuest UserComfortable and cozy room with Japanese-style decorations. I especially love the heated bed topper. The hotel staff, which we think is also the owner, is really nice and friendly. It is a little far from Heishui downtown, but there was nothing to do in town at night anyway, so no issue there. Having said that the hotel is not close to Heishui city, the staff offered to bring us dinner, so eating was not an issue.
The hotel is located close to Dagu Glacier with around 5-min taxi ride.

NnalzanarmiThis place is a one of a kind stay, if you've never been to China, this stay will put you in awe. This stay is more if a homestay owned by families. Rich with ******* heritage and hospitality. We were quite surprised that they said to just go upstairs and choose any room we liked 🤣. We really enjoyed our stay although the amenities were quite lacking but just enough. At night we were asking the owner if there is any nearby convenience store to buy some snacks but all stores were closed at the time. But the very kind uncle (owner) invited us to walk with him to his friend's store in the village. The store was closed but he called his friend to open the shop just for us ♥️. Overall a once in a lifetime memorable experience. 👍
