"We stayed at the Heishui and Siguniang Mountain resorts for three days and absolutely loved the butler service at Gar Manor! From the moment we got off the bus, we were completely taken care of. The butler eagerly carried our luggage and checked us in, making it incredibly easy.
The breakfast was plentiful, with a mix of whole grains and protein. The warm black pig's trotters and stir-fried pork in the evening were a thoughtful touch. The most touching thing was that the butler even brought us an umbrella on a rainy day, holding it for us along the way and providing hot tea. These little touches are truly heartwarming!
The mountain-view loft we stayed in at Siguniang Mountain had a fantastic view, with both floors offering views of the lake and mountains. On a clear day, the lake sparkled like diamonds, while on a rainy day, the misty clouds shrouded the place like a fairyland. It truly soothed me here and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Siguniang Mountain!"

"The owner was soooo nice and extremely helpful! She picked us up from the bus station, sent us to dagu and picked us up to send us back to the bus station! They have free meals provided 10/10 would recommend and would come back every time if i had the chance! The rooms are also very amazing. Very spacious, clean and visually appealing! Super comfy too!"

"I highly recommend this guesthouse! The owner provided me with a very comfortable and satisfying travel experience. They were incredibly accommodating, practically always ready to help. The owners are both very kind and honest; they even woke us up and personally took us to the scenic area when we overslept. The hotel restaurant was also excellent value for money, serving authentic Sichuan cuisine at prices far exceeding those typical of tourist areas. The rooms were spacious with great views. I highly recommend visiting Dagu Glacier!"

"We had a great stay here while visiting Dagu Glacier. It felt more like staying in a local home than a hotel, which made the experience very authentic.
The owner was extremely kind and was waiting for us on the main road when we arrived. She also helped arrange transportation back to Maoxian train station. They even provided free transportation to Dagu Glacier.
We were also offered delicious homemade yak milk for free, which was a very nice local touch. The shower had a ceiling heater, which was amazing after a cold day at the glacier.
Everyone in the area was very kind and welcoming. A simple but warm and genuine place to stay."

"Hygiene: Very clean, and they even provide disinfectant alcohol (Picture 3), which is great for germaphobes! The tissues are also from C&S.
Environment: There are many guesthouses nearby, all run by locals, offering a very authentic local experience.
Facilities: We drove here. If you need to charge your car, you can do so at a fish restaurant next door. You can also cast movies from your phone to the TV in the room.
Service: You can book tickets for Dagu Glacier through the host, which is slightly cheaper than booking yourself. They also prepare their own breakfast, which includes butter tea and is quite unique.
If you're looking for places to eat, I recommend the Hade Plaza in Heishui County, as there are more options there. We tried a ******* restaurant called Xiangnage, and the food was pretty good."

"I originally wanted to leave a review the night I checked in, but I couldn't find the time until after I checked out. First of all, the owner was incredibly welcoming and the service was excellent. The room was spacious, very clean, and the facilities were top-notch. Secondly, the food was more than enough for two people for just over 100 yuan, and the dishes were delicious, featuring local specialties. The yak hot pot soup is a must-try; it's incredibly flavorful. Finally, I wish the owner great success in their business! I would definitely stay at their hotel again if I came back."

"This is my first review, and it's completely honest. This is the best hotel I've stayed at during my travels here. The front desk lady was incredibly enthusiastic; whenever I had a problem, I liked to go to her, and she always helped. It was a very satisfying stay. The lobby is spacious, the environment is great, the front desk service is excellent, and check-in was fast. The room facilities are complete, the bed is very comfortable, and the room has smart controls. They even offered a free late check-out, which was really nice. It's a fantastic hotel. They also gave a free bottle of mineral water upon check-in. The room is spacious, well-lit, bright, and fully equipped. The front desk service is exceptional, and breakfast is also great. There's free parking, and it's very convenient for getting around. Highly recommend!"

"Our trip to Heishui with my partner was completely healed by the Norsky Guesthouse! The location is amazing, close to Dagu Glacier, so we could catch up on sleep after watching the sunrise. The room was simple and cozy, with a small sofa perfect for couples to snuggle up and gaze at the snow-capped mountains. The morning sunlight streaming in created a wonderful atmosphere. The owner is very romantic, discreetly providing clean cushions and small refreshments. The breakfast was exquisite and comforting, with fresh ingredients in the ******* hot pot, and tender yak meat – enough to fill us up and at a great price. During our chat, the owner recommended some less crowded, scenic hiking routes, where we took tons of amazing couple photos. The service was attentive and unobtrusive, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. Choosing this place for a couple's trip was a dream come true, and we'll definitely come back!"

GGuest UserThe guesthouse was clean and tidy, with a walnut tree in the courtyard. Upon arrival, we were offered walnuts from this century-old tree and hot tea. The design of the rooms and lobby clearly showed the owner's dedication to running this guesthouse, especially the floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms, which created a truly calming and comfortable atmosphere. Furthermore, the landlady was an incredibly kind person. Knowing we were going to the glacier for a wedding photoshoot early the next morning, she specially prepared breakfast for us in advance, ensuring we were full of energy for the trip. The following evening, when we experienced altitude sickness, she immediately provided hot water and oxygen cylinders. Heishui is a truly wonderful place; everyone is so friendly, kind, and welcoming. Like on the way back to the guesthouse after having barbecue at night, seeing the countless stars under the mountains was tranquil and truly blissful.

GGuest UserAfter visiting Dagu Glacier with friends, I opened Ctrip and saw this Gar Manor B&B. It is close to the scenic area, but the road up the mountain is a bit tortuous, a winding mountain road. Fortunately, the road surface is all asphalt and relatively spacious, not as difficult to drive as imagined. Although it is the rainy season these days, I didn’t expect the clouds in the mountains to be very beautiful, so it was not a wasted trip. The hygiene in the hotel can be said to be very attentive, and even those who are a little bit obsessed with cleanliness can be satisfied. Then the most impressive thing is the service of the housekeepers. They were very proactive in receiving us, and even their enthusiasm made us a little embarrassed. I heard that Heishui will be more beautiful in the golden autumn season, and I will come here to stay and experience it then.

1️⃣ The hostess is incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful, reminding us of all the little details.
2️⃣ The twin beds are huge, easily accommodating two people, and the room comes with a humidifier with a very clean water tank (a lifesaver for allergy sufferers like me).
3️⃣ Even with just an AC and an electric blanket, it was incredibly warm. No worries about catching a cold. For someone like me who can't stand direct AC wind, I just set it to the lowest fan speed and still felt perfectly cozy. The bathroom's heated fan (Yuba) was also very powerful.
4️⃣ We had dinner at the hotel, and the hotpot dipping sauce was absolutely delicious! 😋 Plus, the vegetables had a subtle sweetness (first time ever experiencing that, and I loved it!). The whole set meal was more than enough for two people.
5️⃣ The rooms are equipped with disposable toilet seat covers, towels, and more – a dream come true for germaphobes!
6️⃣ The charging station isn't in the hotel's parking lot, but it's very close, just a 2-minute walk away.
7️⃣ It's about a 5-minute drive to the Dagu Glacier scenic area, making it perfect for those traveling by car.
Overall, I'm very satisfied!

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Heishui Yunhu Boutique B&B! The floor-to-ceiling glass design provides excellent natural light, and the views outside the window are picturesque. The facilities are modern and thoughtfully designed, exuding a high-end feel. The cleanliness is impeccable; it's the tidiest B&B I've ever stayed in. The butler service is meticulous and heartwarming. As a 'Golden Panda Certified B&B,' the public spaces are incredibly rich, with a café, book bar, and photography studio that are both relaxing and engaging. The hundred-year-old walnut tree within adds so much character. It's only 6km from Dagu Glacier, a few minutes' drive, and about 10-odd kilometers to San'ao Snow Mountain. The owner can also help purchase discounted scenic area tickets. Life in the county is convenient, making it perfectly suited for both self-driving tours and leisurely trips. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic!

GGuest UserOur family stayed here. It's only about 4 kilometers from Dagu Glacier, just a few minutes' drive away. We arrived at 6 pm, and the host was very helpful with our luggage. Because we had checked out early, the host kindly upgraded us to a deluxe room with a view. It was very clean and comfortable, large and beautiful, with a separate wet and dry area. The blankets were warm at night, and there was central air conditioning. Breakfast was provided in the morning. It was a perfect experience, making our trip feel warm and homey.

GGuest UserThe room is very spacious, clean, and comfy. This is the only hotel I found during my entire trip that has a bidet. The thing I appreciate the most is the service. The staff there were extremely welcoming and warm; they even offered us fruits and candies. When the kettle had a problem, they delivered a new one along with a bunch of water bottles without us even asking for it. I truly appreciate everything about this hotel.
When I left my belongings behind, they immediately contacted me through WeChat and offered to send my items via SF Express. Even until the very end, they continued to provide 100% service. I’ve never written such a long review before, but this time I felt it was totally worth it. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel if I visit 黑水 again.

NnalzanarmiThis place is a one of a kind stay, if you've never been to China, this stay will put you in awe. This stay is more if a homestay owned by families. Rich with ******* heritage and hospitality. We were quite surprised that they said to just go upstairs and choose any room we liked 🤣. We really enjoyed our stay although the amenities were quite lacking but just enough. At night we were asking the owner if there is any nearby convenience store to buy some snacks but all stores were closed at the time. But the very kind uncle (owner) invited us to walk with him to his friend's store in the village. The store was closed but he called his friend to open the shop just for us ♥️. Overall a once in a lifetime memorable experience. 👍
