"The hotel is located on the outskirts of the county town, so it's very quiet. The room facilities are quite complete; the shower room has a heater, and disposable toilet seat covers are provided. The bedding is comfortable, and the front desk service is very good. The downsides are that breakfast is very simple, the bowls and chopsticks aren't sanitized, the soy milk is very watery, and the shower pressure is very low – maybe the showerhead is clogged."

"This guesthouse has a lot of character, and you can tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The cleanliness and facilities are good, and the owner is very friendly and proactively helped with our luggage, even though there's no elevator to the second floor, which was fine. Breakfast is simple, but the butter tea is delicious – a must-try! The ******* tea is also very good, and I heard it helps with altitude sickness. There's also a fireplace in the restaurant, and it's super cozy to sit by it and drink tea on a cold day. (Note: The room in the picture is a Deluxe King Room)"

"Far mountain hotel is a family runner hotel, we have to wait for checking in about 30 mins. But the hotel owner was nice and well taking care us. The room was a little antique style but nice and spacious, the only comments is it was too cold for toilet and bathroom during winter. There was a heater controller at the ceiling but it was too hot. 2 bottles of water were provided. No breakfast was offering in the hotel. Overall us ok because we just stayed for a night before our trip to Bipengou. Location is closed to base of Bipengou. Great value for money."

"I highly recommend this guesthouse! The moment I walked in, I was immediately impressed. Not only is the environment comfortable, but this stay completely cured my 'accommodation cleanliness obsession'! They provide free disposable cups for toiletries, and even the bath towels and regular towels are complimentary and disposable. Most importantly, the bathroom is equipped with disposable toilet seat covers, which gave me a great sense of security when I unwrapped them. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay. I feel the owner put a lot of thought into it, and the attention to detail is exceptional. The room was also very comfortable and cozy. The experience was fantastic, definitely worth recommending!"

"The hotel is run by a family. The daughter can speak English so she helped us with all our needs. She also booked the tickets to Dagu Glacier for us. This hotel has a restaurant and you can ask for non spicy food which my daughters appreciated. The location is very near the glacier around 5 minutes from the hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds are big enough to fit 2 small people."

"Heshui is the nearest town 4km to Dagu Glacier. People here sleep very early. We reached the hotel around 7pm & everywhere is darkness & only 1 restaurant is open for dinner. Hotel is new with modern design. Booked a room with hot spring tub, so that we can relax after dinner. Unfortunately the staff told us not to use it as the hot water is bit warm, better to take a shower & sleep early. There’s a projector instead of a TV. We have to login as member then we can watch the local channel. Again we are disappointed that we can only select the free old drama to watch till we are tired & fall asleep."

GGuest UserAfter visiting Dagu Glacier with friends, I opened Ctrip and saw this Gar Manor B&B. It is close to the scenic area, but the road up the mountain is a bit tortuous, a winding mountain road. Fortunately, the road surface is all asphalt and relatively spacious, not as difficult to drive as imagined. Although it is the rainy season these days, I didn’t expect the clouds in the mountains to be very beautiful, so it was not a wasted trip. The hygiene in the hotel can be said to be very attentive, and even those who are a little bit obsessed with cleanliness can be satisfied. Then the most impressive thing is the service of the housekeepers. They were very proactive in receiving us, and even their enthusiasm made us a little embarrassed. I heard that Heishui will be more beautiful in the golden autumn season, and I will come here to stay and experience it then.

The room was beautifully designed—clean, warm, and cozy—with large windows that opened to stunning views of the valley and cloud-covered peaks. Waking up to that scenery was absolutely magical.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive. They helped with everything from local travel tips to meal arrangements, and their hospitality made us feel truly at home.
The location is ideal for anyone planning to visit Heishui or explore the surrounding nature. Quiet, peaceful, and far from the crowds—just the way a mountain getaway should be.
Highly recommended. We would love to come back again soon!

GGuest User#Location Traffic Hotel is on the way to Dagu Glacier. It takes about 4 kilometers to drive to Dagu Glacier. It takes ten minutes. The location is very close. And the hotel is opposite the **gou RV camping area. When we stayed, it was off-season. No one in the scenic area. The view from the hotel window is very good. The view is very wide. #Service We arrived at around 5 or 6 pm. Before we parked the car, the boss came out to give us command and pull the luggage. He was very enthusiastic! There were no guests at the time of the off-season. The boss asked us to choose the room orientation by ourselves, which was quite thoughtful. #Breakfast The next morning, the proprietress got up early in the morning to cook breakfast, the white porridge made in the pressure cooker... and the very fragrant steamed buns (this southerner ate two) with porridge and steamed buns fried cabbage shredded, fried chili are all fried by the proprietress, very delicious, clean and simple, but very comfortable to eat! #The restaurant originally wanted to eat Tibetan food at night, but there was really no shop in front of the village and behind the store. I was too lazy to toss and ate the yak beef soup pot made by the boss's own place where I lived. It tasted absolutely! Too fresh! The beef part in the soup pot is also very good! The mushrooms with side dishes are also very good! The 128 package for two people can't finish it at all. We ate the 188 package near Bipenggou last night. The materials are not as good (it is recommended that the boss say in advance that the rice and tableware are charged in advance, so that the guests feel more comfortable when paying the bill. I don’t think there is a hidden extra consumption. After all, the soup pot is really delicious. Don’t affect the evaluation because of a few dollars. Finally, I said a problem. The hotel should be renovated in October and November in 25 years. The appearance and lobby of the hotel can also see the decoration traces. Then it was cold and I hope the boss still had to open the windows of the room for more ventilation, and the smell of the decoration was still smelled. Don't close the windows because it was cold. All in all, the hotel is newly renovated. Although there are some flaws, the boss wife is very enthusiastic and very real (the boss's Tibetan pop is really cute when chatting with us hahahahaha) The food is also real and delicious! ZzhuqingshanWhile searching on Ctrip, I learned that Gar Manor is a well-known, upscale hotel and guesthouse in Heishui County, so I booked it without hesitation. The hotel exceeded my expectations, offering a tranquil and secluded experience compared to the ******* village of Yangronghade down the mountain. Its location on the top of a mountain makes it a bit of a daunting experience for beginners, even for experienced drivers like me. Fortunately, the paved road is smooth and guardrailed, and while it's not wide, it's wide enough for passing cars. Arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I mentioned the road ahead as challenging, but he said it was wide and easy to drive. I agreed.
The complimentary breakfast for the children was a big plus. The tea was fragrant. The staff helped carry our luggage to our room, and the service was excellent. The room was a comfortable twin room with a loft, complete with a glass roof. On a nice day, sipping an 18-year-old red wine from the Gar Manor winery cellar while gazing at the stars is truly relaxing. Dinner was exquisite and delicious. I recommend the ”Yak Beef, Green Peppers, and Potatoes Stir-fried”—it was so delicious that I left the table empty. I visited the adjacent art gallery and listened to the hotel's beautiful receptionist's detailed introduction to oil paintings, tea, red wine, and various traditional ******* artifacts. I marveled at the fleeting passage of time and the profound changes that have taken place. The hotel was shrouded in mist, the air clear and fragrant. Beyond the chirping of birds and the wind, I was left with only the sound of my own empty heart. Breakfast was served at 8:30. The hotel staff were warm and knowledgeable, and everything was wonderful and relaxing. Then, reluctantly, I bid farewell to the hotel and headed for Dagu Glacier.
This hotel is truly a worthwhile experience.

GGuest UserComfortable and cozy room with Japanese-style decorations. I especially love the heated bed topper. The hotel staff, which we think is also the owner, is really nice and friendly. It is a little far from Heishui downtown, but there was nothing to do in town at night anyway, so no issue there. Having said that the hotel is not close to Heishui city, the staff offered to bring us dinner, so eating was not an issue.
The hotel is located close to Dagu Glacier with around 5-min taxi ride.

It's very quiet to sleep, and it's only 3.2 kilometers from Dagu Glacier, which is very convenient. 👍 Perhaps because the decor is a bit dated, some parts (like the doors) are a little old, but overall it's still a good place, and I recommend staying here!

First and foremost, the room is clean and tidy, with excellent privacy, making for a great stay experience! The hotel space is very large, and the environment and atmosphere are fantastic. The whole process was truly comfortable and satisfying. The food was delicious and very satisfying, with fresh ingredients, so you can eat with confidence. I highly recommend all the signature dishes! As always, the food was tasty and the portions were generous. I've already recommended it to my friends!

squat toilet so it might not good for someone who is unable to squat for a long time but I have no problem with it. The owner is helpful. She sold Dagu glacier ticket with a good price to us and helped arranging car to Bipenggou in the next day. The price is cheap.
