"This guesthouse is an absolute gem! The room's decor and amenities are meticulously chosen and of high quality. The owners are also incredibly kind and hardworking, always busy making sure everything is perfect, clearly a very industrious family.
Our room was a scenic one. After a tiring day of exploring, returning to the room and opening the door to find warm lighting and lovely decorations was incredibly comforting and allowed us to completely relax. It truly felt like being at home.
The next morning, the scenery was even more breathtaking. We were surrounded by colorful forests on all sides, feeling as if we were living right in the heart of the mountains. Our child drew pictures of snow-capped mountains and colorful trees in the morning, while we cozied up on the sofa listening to music, with the sunlight streaming in, gazing at the distant snow peaks and the vibrant autumn foliage nearby. It was such a peaceful and incredibly therapeutic moment.
This hotel was a delightful surprise. I will definitely choose to stay here again with my family and friends next time. A truly excellent experience."

"Exceeded expectations! For a B&B priced over 400, the room was incredibly spacious with a double sofa and a large TV. It also had a big balcony with a lounge chair, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a bathroom with a separate wet and dry area. The air conditioning was powerful, soundproofing was excellent, and the blackout curtains worked very well. They even provided bathrobes and a humidifier.
The owner was also very hospitable, taking us to crack walnuts, helping with our luggage, and checking in on us. The colorful forests of Heishui are stunning and would be even more beautiful with good weather.
My only minor complaints would be that the hot water pressure was a bit low, and the location isn't as deep into the colorful forest area as it could be. If it were closer to the core colorful forest zone, the window view might be like a painting.
Still, highly recommended. This was the most satisfying hotel of our trip."

"This is my first review, and it's completely honest. This is the best hotel I've stayed at during my travels here. The front desk lady was incredibly enthusiastic; whenever I had a problem, I liked to go to her, and she always helped. It was a very satisfying stay. The lobby is spacious, the environment is great, the front desk service is excellent, and check-in was fast. The room facilities are complete, the bed is very comfortable, and the room has smart controls. They even offered a free late check-out, which was really nice. It's a fantastic hotel. They also gave a free bottle of mineral water upon check-in. The room is spacious, well-lit, bright, and fully equipped. The front desk service is exceptional, and breakfast is also great. There's free parking, and it's very convenient for getting around. Highly recommend!"

The rooms are also spacious, perfect for a barbecue in the evening – very relaxing!"

"Far mountain hotel is a family runner hotel, we have to wait for checking in about 30 mins. But the hotel owner was nice and well taking care us. The room was a little antique style but nice and spacious, the only comments is it was too cold for toilet and bathroom during winter. There was a heater controller at the ceiling but it was too hot. 2 bottles of water were provided. No breakfast was offering in the hotel. Overall us ok because we just stayed for a night before our trip to Bipengou. Location is closed to base of Bipengou. Great value for money."

"This hotel has the best service ever. The staffs are so alert with the complaint and quickly did the best to solve it. The heater in my room was not functioning then they gave us free room upgrade as soon as possible. They were so nice and friendly to my whole family. They even asked us to try Hanfu for free and dressed my kids up. Overall they are the best!

ZZX461487****This hotel was the most delightful surprise of our trip to Western Sichuan. You could tell the owner put a lot of care into its operation. Even before we arrived, the owner called to kindly turn on the air conditioning for us. We arrived around 11 pm, and the room was still very warm.
The hotel is newly built; the courtyard, buildings, and facilities are all very modern. It has a great design, decorated with many ******* elements, and even has a dedicated Tibetan-style living room for visitors and breakfast. The rooms are large, with two walls featuring floor-to-ceiling beds, but the double-glazed windows kept the rooms warm.
The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but you could tell the owner's wife put a lot of effort into it. The vegetables were all grown by her, and the porridge, eggs, and side dishes all felt very clean and hygienic. The other guests at our table wanted to try butter tea and tsampa, and the owner's wife specially cooked them for us – a delightful surprise!
There's an apple tree in the courtyard, pesticide-free, and my boyfriend excitedly tried climbing it to pick apples – they were incredibly sweet! The courtyard also features a relaxation area and a walnut tree over 100 years old. A restaurant is also under construction, which I believe will be a pleasant surprise once completed.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Heishui. Wishing you booming business!

GGuest UserAfter visiting Dagu Glacier with friends, I opened Ctrip and saw this Gar Manor B&B. It is close to the scenic area, but the road up the mountain is a bit tortuous, a winding mountain road. Fortunately, the road surface is all asphalt and relatively spacious, not as difficult to drive as imagined. Although it is the rainy season these days, I didn’t expect the clouds in the mountains to be very beautiful, so it was not a wasted trip. The hygiene in the hotel can be said to be very attentive, and even those who are a little bit obsessed with cleanliness can be satisfied. Then the most impressive thing is the service of the housekeepers. They were very proactive in receiving us, and even their enthusiasm made us a little embarrassed. I heard that Heishui will be more beautiful in the golden autumn season, and I will come here to stay and experience it then.

It's no exaggeration to say that from the moment I checked in, I was in ”vacation mode.” I was completely amazed when I opened the door to the room. The Dyson hair dryer, the Delonghi kettle...everything was very thoughtfully designed. Gar Manor in Siguniang Mountain has floor-to-ceiling windows facing Jiajin Lake. The emerald green water reflects the snow-capped mountains and forests. You can watch the ”Western Sichuan Painting Scroll” while lying in bed. What a magical perspective! In addition, travel is also very convenient. You don't have to rush to go to Dagu Glacier and Siguniang Mountain. It is very suitable for family or couples to travel. Gar Manor's service is even more needless to say. It comes with butler service when you check in. Any needs are met, and the staff are also very enthusiastic! In short, it's really worth it.

GGuest User#Location Traffic Hotel is on the way to Dagu Glacier. It takes about 4 kilometers to drive to Dagu Glacier. It takes ten minutes. The location is very close. And the hotel is opposite the **gou RV camping area. When we stayed, it was off-season. No one in the scenic area. The view from the hotel window is very good. The view is very wide. #Service We arrived at around 5 or 6 pm. Before we parked the car, the boss came out to give us command and pull the luggage. He was very enthusiastic! There were no guests at the time of the off-season. The boss asked us to choose the room orientation by ourselves, which was quite thoughtful. #Breakfast The next morning, the proprietress got up early in the morning to cook breakfast, the white porridge made in the pressure cooker... and the very fragrant steamed buns (this southerner ate two) with porridge and steamed buns fried cabbage shredded, fried chili are all fried by the proprietress, very delicious, clean and simple, but very comfortable to eat! #The restaurant originally wanted to eat Tibetan food at night, but there was really no shop in front of the village and behind the store. I was too lazy to toss and ate the yak beef soup pot made by the boss's own place where I lived. It tasted absolutely! Too fresh! The beef part in the soup pot is also very good! The mushrooms with side dishes are also very good! The 128 package for two people can't finish it at all. We ate the 188 package near Bipenggou last night. The materials are not as good (it is recommended that the boss say in advance that the rice and tableware are charged in advance, so that the guests feel more comfortable when paying the bill. I don’t think there is a hidden extra consumption. After all, the soup pot is really delicious. Don’t affect the evaluation because of a few dollars. Finally, I said a problem. All in all, the hotel is newly renovated. SSerene MethiasHeshui is the nearest town 4km to Dagu Glacier. People here sleep very early. We reached the hotel around 7pm & everywhere is darkness & only 1 restaurant is open for dinner. Hotel is new with modern design. Booked a room with hot spring tub, so that we can relax after dinner. Unfortunately the staff told us not to use it as the hot water is bit warm, better to take a shower & sleep early. There’s a projector instead of a TV. We have to login as member then we can watch the local channel. Again we are disappointed that we can only select the free old drama to watch till we are tired & fall asleep.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive. They helped with everything from local travel tips to meal arrangements, and their hospitality made us feel truly at home.
The location is ideal for anyone planning to visit Heishui or explore the surrounding nature. Quiet, peaceful, and far from the crowds—just the way a mountain getaway should be.

GGuest UserComfortable and cozy room with Japanese-style decorations. I especially love the heated bed topper. The hotel staff, which we think is also the owner, is really nice and friendly. It is a little far from Heishui downtown, but there was nothing to do in town at night anyway, so no issue there. Having said that the hotel is not close to Heishui city, the staff offered to bring us dinner, so eating was not an issue.
The hotel is located close to Dagu Glacier with around 5-min taxi ride.

squat toilet so it might not good for someone who is unable to squat for a long time but I have no problem with it. The owner is helpful. She sold Dagu glacier ticket with a good price to us and helped arranging car to Bipenggou in the next day. The price is cheap.

The newly opened hotel, the environment is very clean, the scenery is good, the key boss is very warm and friendly, and the cooking is delicious! There is also a cute kitten from the boss.
