Hygiene: The hygiene is good, and they clean punctually every morning and noon. Environment: It has the advantages of an old house, warm in winter and cool in summer. It also has the common disadvantage of old houses, which is slightly poor soundproofing, but the owner provided earplugs. However, the neighbors were very considerate, so I didn't even need them. Service: The service was excellent. "Excellent welcoming with free pickup at Railway station. The place is a bit difficult to find so the free pickup was very useful. Located in the old city with easy walking. The room was very clean except for some mould on the shower curtain. Privacy is a bit of a problem with one window to the outside with easy visibility into the room and one window facing inside also with easy visibility into the room. However, blackout curtains helped. The room was spacious but no fridge and wardrobe. Not a problem for us as we only stayed one day. No lift but hotel reception was great and help us with our bags and tips to get around."

"The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. The view from the window was great, and the transportation was very convenient. The ancient city is right outside the door, and the Confucius Temple is just a short walk away, which is super convenient. The lobby staff were very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. "This charming homestay is tucked away on a quiet side street, just a quick 2-minute walk from the main Lianian Street. My friends and I loved the beautiful courtyard and traditional architecture — it really captured the local character of Jianshui. We only stayed one night, right after the Golden Week holidays, and were pleasantly surprised that the staff could arrange spacious rooms for us on the same second floor (I’d recommend choosing the second floor over the first). The staff were friendly and very responsive to our questions and requests. One thing to note: because it’s designed in a traditional courtyard style, you can hear other guests talking if you leave your windows open — but that’s part of the authentic atmosphere!"

"I've always loved staying in Chinese garden hotels and have experienced many across different regions, but this one's environment is by far my favorite. The Pine Garden is the most beautiful, grand and elegant. With a clear blue sky and sunshine, it truly surpasses even the landscapes of Jiangnan. In the morning, the light streams through the windows facing the courtyard, filling the room with warmth. At night, the silhouettes of the pine trees resemble graceful Dai dances, which is quite charming. I had originally planned to visit a famous garden cafe outside the ancient city after checking in, but then I saw how much better the hotel's own backyard was—it was truly exceptional. So, I immediately went back to my room, grabbed my Zitao tea set, and brewed coffee and black tea under the Ligustrum trees. My family and I enjoyed the gentle breeze, listening to the rustling leaves and gurgling water, admiring the blooming magnolias and the swaying goldfish. This became the highlight of our slow-paced Jianshui trip. I also saw other guests reading on the traditional 'beauty's rest' benches and observing the fish pond with great interest. This, I thought, is what coming to Jianshui is all about—letting time slow down a bit. The room included a private small courtyard, a small living room that doubled as a tea room, a bedroom, and a very spacious bathroom. There were also Jianshui cultural books by Chen Lei's comic team, which you could finish in half an hour to learn about Jianshui. In the evening, we received welcome fruits, and the morning's caya rice noodles were as good as, if not better than, those from external vendors. The room was incredibly quiet at night—we were truly in the heart of the ancient city, yet just a wall away felt like a secluded paradise. The intangible cultural heritage performance directly opposite the hotel starts at 8:30 PM. It's high quality, great value for money, and definitely worth seeing. The hotel is also very close to the Confucius Temple."

"Accommodation conveniently located in a quiet street of old Jianshui. The owners have the sense of hospitality: they greet you with tea and fruits, they share grilled tofu with you. They are super friendly, speak Englisgh, are thoughtful and really willing to help. I would highly recommend this place for your stay in Jianshui."

"So happy about this little hotel! 1) First of the location is great, inside the old city of Jian Shui, close to the western gate. 2) the room was specious with all the equipment needed (toilet, hot shower, super comfy bed, AC, TV etc…). 3) the room was clean and the hotel decoration is very beautiful, which gives very good relaxation feeling. 4) the owner is super kind! He helped me with in formation (about recommended food areas, and about a day trip to YuanYang), and i got bitten by a dog i played with and he gave me first aid- everything with a smile and a kind attitude! Highly recommended, one day when i will be back in Jian Shui, i will definitely stay here."

"This time I went to the beautiful Jianshui and set up a famous hotel in the villa. It was very quiet and there was a garden with a baby. I set a large standard room. The room was really big. "We actually came back to this hotel for a second stay after visiting the terraces, which says a lot about the overall experience. The location is fantastic, very close to the old town and right by a lovely lake, making it really special. The girls at reception are also incredibly kind and helpful, even if they don’t speak English, they do their best using a translator. Cleanliness was decent but could be improved a bit. We would recommend choosing a higher-category room, as the basic ones feel a bit outdated and less comfortable. Overall, a great stay mainly thanks to the amazing location and the kindness of the staff."

The homestay is on the side of the road, but the rooms are inside, so sleeping at night is really quiet. Facilities: I just commented that this room type has a bubble pool. The room photos are not specially displayed. Although the room type label has a private soup bubble pool, I didn’t notice it at the beginning. The independent small courtyard, soaking in the bubble pool, eating afternoon tea, the thief pulls comfortably.
