Impossible to find a better place in Jianshui. The rooms are located inside a historic stone and wood building that has been renovated respecting the culture of the place, creating very large rooms, in style, equipped with all possible technological comforts. The owner, Lawrence, speaks perfect English (a very rare thing to find in Jiuanshui), is a highly cultured person and can help you solve any type of problem as well as accompanying you on visits to the surroundings, making you enter the heart of Yunnan. It is the best place I have stayed in Yunnan, without a doubt. In this place I left my heart, respect and affection for Lawrence and all the staff.

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the owner for the wonderful BBQ Doufu gathering they organized for all the guests. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, and it truly made our stay even more memorable. The effort they put into bringing everyone together, preparing the delicious food, and creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere did not go unnoticed. It was a joy to meet the other guests, share stories, and enjoy the fantastic BBQ Doufu in such a beautiful setting. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the evening truly special. This homestay is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and a sense of community. We are so grateful for the memories we’ve made here, and the BBQ gathering was the perfect highlight of our time. The service is particularly thoughtful and intimate! The inn is in the ancient city. Zhujia Garden Confucian Temple is about three minutes away. We arrived at the inn early and roasted local specialty tofu in the yard. We drank tea. The children were happy. The most heartwarming thing was that there was a laundry room like going home. Feeling, I will definitely come again next time I have time!

This is not just a place to stay, but a small world full of stories. The lady manages it with care, every corner is warm, the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the bed is very comfortable. Sitting in the small courtyard in the evening roasting tofu, drinking tea, and watching the two little guys playing around, it feels like time has passed in peace! Will come again next time ~

I really liked the B&B during the entire trip. It was clean and sanitary, the bedding was comfortable, the environment was elegant, and the boss was very nice. It is located in a small alley in the ancient city, quiet in the bustling city, and very close to Dabanjing. My children fetch water for me to make tea every day. I can feel the slow life in the ancient city very well. I especially like rainy weather. I can watch the rain under the corridor in the yard, drink tea and eat some fruits. Next time I come to Jianshui, I will stay here again.

The inn is near the ancient city, and the scenic spots can be reached in a few minutes' walk. It is very convenient to eat and take a taxi around. It is very quiet at night and does not affect rest at all. The green plants and small decorations in the yard are particularly design-conscious, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and there is a light fragrance. I instantly felt like home. The boss and staff are super enthusiastic! Help with luggage, recommend travel routes, and even remind you of weather changes.

我們是在攜程網上訂的，首先被店名吸引了，再看評價也好。下單後給老闆打了電話，説了我們對房間的要求，老闆答應一定給我們考慮，去了後，房間完全按照我們的需求安排的，這個老闆很誠信。沉香小院在古城內，交通便利。整個沉香小院裝修有九成新，設施完全滿足居住需求，房間乾淨整潔明亮，舒適度好。洗澡水我們需要温度高點的，老闆親自為我們調好，我們有什麼需求給老闆説，他都非常誠懇的給我們解決，走的時候，因景區內九點後無法通行出租車，老闆用電瓶車把我們送到公交站，真的非常感謝他，下次到建水，我們還會選這家沉香小院。

This Jianshui trip stayed in the garden room of Wangshu B&B not far from the ancient city for 5 days. It felt very comfortable and comfortable. A very comfortable B&B, located right on the main street, but it feels like a quiet place amidst the hustle and bustle. The hygiene issues that I'm very worried about when staying in a B&B don't exist here at all. There are almost no sanitary blind spots. I'm super satisfied. It can be seen that the owner is running the business with care. He thoughtfully prepared disposable bath towels and other supplies, as well as welcome fruit afternoon tea and good night dessert mini bar souvenirs. Everyone provides sincere service. This is what I consider a 100-point B&B. ah The ancient city of Jianshui is actually very small. It is an acceptable distance to go to any Confucian temple on foot. It is not far from the parking lot. The B&B will pick up and drop off luggage to the car, so it will not be inconvenient. If I go to Jianshui next time, I will choose to watch Ziyun.
