"Every time I visit Jilin, I stay at this hotel, the best in Jiangcheng, always opting for a river-view room. This time, I encountered Ms. Zhuzi at the front desk, who was incredibly warm and attentive. She even gave me discount vouchers, which came in handy for dinner at the 38th floor restaurant. Every staff member I met was friendly and enthusiastic, and I hope they continue to maintain this high standard. I'll definitely be back!"

"The room was very spacious. We arrived quite late, well past midnight, but the front desk quickly checked us in. After we checked out, the front desk called to let us know we'd left a power cord behind and immediately offered to mail it to us via WeChat. However, since it was for our child's constant-temperature kettle, we decided to go back and pick it up. The hotel's service was warm, thoughtful, and proactive, with a very positive attitude. The breakfast staff were also incredibly enthusiastic. We were very satisfied with this stay!"

"Traveling from Changbai Mountain to Yanji and then to Jilin, a friend recommended this hotel, and it offered great value for money. The three ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly; they even made us hot coffee, answered all our questions, and were generally very helpful – I'm really grateful! The room window offered a nice street view, and the triple-pane glass provided excellent soundproofing. Both heating and air conditioning were available, so it wasn't too dry. The room size was just right, which I was very pleased with. The shower had ample hot water, and housekeeping was prompt. The hotel's location is convenient for getting anywhere, with easy access to transport. I even got to see the rime ice in Jilin, which was very lucky!"

The front desk staff provided excellent service, and since it was Christmas, we even received a lovely little Christmas gift, which made us feel very welcome. The highlight was definitely the bed and pillows – they were just the right firmness, making it easy to fall asleep. "The hotel is new with modern and convenient facilities, and the staff are very responsive to requests. Its location is also very convenient, with many great food options nearby, making it excellent value for money. I highly recommend staying here.
A couple of areas for improvement:
The breakfast quality was quite ordinary. While there were many options, none of them particularly stood out.
The housekeeping auntie would throw away unused toothpaste and toothbrushes every day, which is wasteful for the hotel and irresponsible towards the environment. I hope they can address this."

"The hotel's interior and exterior matched the pictures. The overall conditions were decent. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety. Our room had two minor issues: the bedside outlet wasn't working, so I couldn't charge my phone, and the TV was missing a remote control. I contacted the front desk, and security came to fix the outlet. Since I didn't end up watching TV, I didn't bother following up on the remote. We booked a family room for three people, but at check-in, they initially said we only had two breakfast vouchers. After some discussion, they provided an extra one. I'd suggest that family rooms booked for three guests should automatically include three breakfasts as standard."

Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, and the housekeeping service was very thoughtful. Noticing I enjoyed coffee, they deliberately left extra packets and even a kind note."

It's just over a hundred meters from the famous Songhua River, which makes the night view even more beautiful, and boat tours of the Songhua River are practically on your doorstep! I've stayed at the Atour Hotel on Beijing Road in Jilin City several times now, and it's genuinely good."

GGuest UserThe hotel proactively informs guests around 4 AM whether there's a chance of rime ice that day, saving us from waiting around for nothing – that's really thoughtful. The best part is, regardless of the weather, they provide shuttle service to Little Rime Island. Given its remote location, having a dedicated shuttle not only solves transportation issues but also makes the early morning trip safe and stress-free!
While the shuttle service to Little Rime Island is convenient, its remote location means higher transportation costs. I highly recommend visiting in January when the chances of seeing rime ice are highest. Otherwise, traveling all that way only to miss out on the spectacular rime ice could make the trip feel a bit bland. Choosing the right time is key to making it a worthwhile journey!

GGuest UserArriving at Wusong Island at this time truly amazed me. It's incredible that such a beautiful place could exist in an ordinary rural area. It was snowing in Northeast China, and the owner said that the chances of Wusong Island appearing after snowfall are extremely high. Without a doubt, there would be 100% rime ice. I got up very early the next day to see the sunrise. Then the owner picked us up and brought us back for breakfast. Following the owner's wife's schedule, we went out and saw the rime ice against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds—it was simply a fairyland, breathtakingly beautiful. We immediately decided to stay another night; it was truly stunning. The guesthouse was warm and cozy, and the food was incredibly delicious. In the evening, we decided to try a Manchu hot pot. Last night we had goose stewed in an iron pot over a wood fire—it was so fragrant! I will definitely come back again. The owner and his wife provided absolutely fantastic service.

GGuest UserHotel is rather near to the Jilin train station. Exit via the west entrance. It is a 5-8mins walk away. However, for families with baggage, a Didi/taxi ride is just 6-7 yuan away. Rooms are modern. Lots of eateries nearby. Also found out there were plenty of malls selling specialist winter gear nearby. Huilong shopping mall level 3/4 for the jackets. Da Fu Hao mall a short 3-4 mins walk from there for the winter shoes. Another mall for the skiing attire. Can consider getting your winter stuff here before going to your onwards winter holiday at Changbaishan or Haerbin.

AAnonymous UserThe room featured a chic, light luxury style. It was spacious and impeccably clean, with plush bedding that ensured a truly refreshing sleep. The bathroom had a convenient wet-dry separation, and the attention to detail throughout was excellent. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Check-in was both swift and thoughtful, and they even proactively upgraded my room type.
The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast at Xijiangyue Restaurant offered an extensive selection, including Chinese pastries, hot dishes, and various congees. The Chaoshan cuisine at Wanyuege Chinese Restaurant was incredibly authentic. Furthermore, Pengdashi Hotpot not only provided stunning river views but also offered a two-person set menu with exceptional value for money.

AAllxtThis hotel is excellent! We're foreigners, from Russia, and it was our first time visiting Songhua Lake. The New Story Suite Hotel made us feel right at home. All the staff were incredibly kind. There are so many fun spots in this hotel! Games, karaoke, and a restaurant are all on the -1 floor. I have three kids, so there were plenty of things for them to do. It was super convenient to bring the children here.
My favorite part was the massage. I especially loved Mr. He (He Ruiyou). His hands are truly amazing!
We'll definitely stay here again next time!

We stayed at this hotel during the New Year holidays with our large family (5 people: 2 adults and three children).
We rented a large room, which was cozy and clean. We all felt comfortable in this spacious room, and there were enough beds for everyone.
We loved everything about this hotel: the friendly staff, and the cleanliness was top-notch – we walked barefoot in the room. You can request room cleaning as needed.
Downstairs, there's a hot water pool. The water is changed every three days.
But what I liked most was the Tesla shuttle service to the mountain.
And the most wonderful thing about this excellent hotel is the masseur He Ruiyou (that's his name in Chinese). After a day on the slopes, a massage from Mr. He is exactly what you need. He is the best masseur I've ever encountered.

DDaexiaoedechaorenThe guesthouse is actually a family-run business in a village on Wusong Island, but the owners are quite professional and the place is very clean, which is very important. Although the rooms are simply furnished, each one is a heated kang (traditional heated bed), which is very warm. The breakfast is also plentiful, with eight kinds of pickled vegetables alone—some of which are homemade! There are also eggs, steamed buns, corn, sticky rice cakes, and corn porridge. The corn in the morning was so good I wanted to take two bags home! The formation of Wusong Island is very interesting. With the blessing of the five-star rime ice and the guidance of the owner, Mr. Xie, we truly saw textbook-perfect rime ice! Adults and children alike were amazed, especially my dad who had a great time with the kids. Apparently, the Wusong Island scenic area isn't as extensive as what the owner showed us. The owner took us to several spots where we could see the rime ice, all along the riverbank. The diversity outside the scenic area is definitely richer.
You can imagine it's on an island, very rustic, without any luxury hotels—exactly the kind of experience we wanted to give our children… The owners were incredibly warm and hospitable, showcasing the true hospitality of Northeasterners. What kind of amazing business would drive you around to find beautiful rime ice? What kind of amazing business would demonstrate such professional photography skills? What kind of amazing business would patiently explain where the best spots on Wusong Island are and when they're at their best? Only Lao Xie's! I haven't tried any other places, but Lao Xie's guesthouse made us feel right at home—like stepping out of the car and feeling right at home. We changed into slippers inside—the heating was wonderful! We arrived around 9 pm and hadn't eaten yet, but we had pre-booked a hot pot meal, and it was served as soon as we entered! The food was good and the price was reasonable. The main problem is that the village gets pitch black at night, and there's not much else to eat there. Finally, if you're driving, I suggest going during the day. Driving into the village at night is dangerous because there are no lights along the way, especially if you're unfamiliar with the area. Also, if you plan to see the sunrise during the day, be sure to dress warmly and wear gloves! I forgot mine, and my hands were practically frozen solid!

Strong Design: The interior is beautifully decorated, showing meticulous attention to detail. Complete Facilities: The large-screen projector provides an excellent viewing experience, and the mahjong machine makes post-skiing relaxation even more enjoyable. High Comfort: The rooms are spacious and well-heated, keeping you very cozy. Excellent Amenities: It boasts a huge yard (perfect for barbecues in summer) and a superb location, very close to the ski resort, within walking distance.

GGuest UserThis is a very good hotel. My mother and two babies are very happy. The hotel rooms are very luxurious, much better than the hotels of the same price in the south. The service quality, especially Wang Bing from the front office, made us feel at home. She was very enthusiastic and explained clearly all the questions we didn't understand. Just because of Wang Bing, I will stay here again when I go back to Jilin.
