"The room price comparison is OK. There is a parking lot, which is convenient for self-driving. The hotel does not provide complimentary breakfast, I think this can be strengthened. The parent-child room is very convenient for a family of four. The windows in the hotel are just a little smaller. The ladies in the housekeeping department are always responsive, and children's toothbrushes and slippers are provided. It is recommended to give more paper, as it is not enough for a family of four. "The hotel is easy to find, right next to the road. It's less than a 20-minute walk from the train station. We came here for the marathon, but it's a bit far from People's Square, the starting point of the race.
The hotel cleanliness was acceptable, but the main problem was that the room was right next to the road, and the noise from the cars all night was quite loud, making it difficult to rest. The shower water was hot, but the water flow was a bit weak, and parking was a bit difficult.
There was a small incident: we returned to the hotel around 11 PM after the marathon, were a bit tired, and rested in bed for a while. When we went downstairs to check out at 12:20 PM, the front desk told us we were 20 minutes late and would be charged 5 yuan.
We didn't want to dwell on it too much, since we wouldn't be coming back anyway, so we just accepted the charge. However, it felt a bit inhumane, and the staff's attitude wasn't very good either."

"I was initially drawn in by the incredibly reasonable price, but the stay completely exceeded my expectations! The smart home features throughout the room were a huge bonus – being able to control the lights and curtains with just my voice was a dream for a lazy person like me! Anonymous UserThe owner is very kind. It is rare in China for an owner to speak English, so communication was easy. The 3-story building has a tatami room on the first floor for the kids, a living room on the second floor, and a bedroom on the third floor, all neatly organized. There is a bathroom on each floor, so it is convenient for a large family. The complex has a townhouse feel, so it is good for taking a walk around the area. Thanks to you, I had a great vacation.

The hotel proactively informs guests around 4 AM whether there's a chance of rime ice that day, saving us from waiting around for nothing – that's really thoughtful. The best part is, regardless of the weather, they provide shuttle service to Little Rime Island. Given its remote location, having a dedicated shuttle not only solves transportation issues but also makes the early morning trip safe and stress-free!
While the shuttle service to Little Rime Island is convenient, its remote location means higher transportation costs. I highly recommend visiting in January when the chances of seeing rime ice are highest. Otherwise, traveling all that way only to miss out on the spectacular rime ice could make the trip feel a bit bland. Choosing the right time is key to making it a worthwhile journey!

Guest UserArriving at Wusong Island at this time truly amazed me. It's incredible that such a beautiful place could exist in an ordinary rural area. It was snowing in Northeast China, and the owner said that the chances of Wusong Island appearing after snowfall are extremely high. Without a doubt, there would be 100% rime ice. I got up very early the next day to see the sunrise. Then the owner picked us up and brought us back for breakfast. Following the owner's wife's schedule, we went out and saw the rime ice against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds—it was simply a fairyland, breathtakingly beautiful. We immediately decided to stay another night; it was truly stunning. The guesthouse was warm and cozy, and the food was incredibly delicious. In the evening, we decided to try a Manchu hot pot. Last night we had goose stewed in an iron pot over a wood fire—it was so fragrant! I will definitely come back again. The owner and his wife provided absolutely fantastic service.

It's a five-minute walk to the river, and there's a shopping street nearby with fast food options like KFC and Xijiade. The breakfast is plentiful, and the hand-ground coffee is quite good. It's a hotel with excellent value for money.

The owner was incredibly welcoming. We were coming from the Harbin direction when our tire went flat. We searched for a repair shop for ages but couldn't find one. Desperate, we called the owner on a whim. He immediately drove over to pick us up, took us to a nearby repair shop, fixed the car, and even bought us tickets to the scenic area at the tour company price – we were so grateful! The guesthouse was clean and cozy, feeling like visiting relatives. In the evening, the owner personally took us to the scenic area to see the iron flower display, which was truly impressive.
Back at the guesthouse, we tried the local specialty, ”Ula Manchu Hot Pot,” at the owner's house. It was delicious! We could ask for more dipping sauce as needed, and the waitresses were very friendly, even giving us complimentary frozen pears and persimmons. What touched us most was that the owner even put a winter mat over our car – he was so kind!
The next morning, he got up early to take us to see the rime ice. The rime ice near the bridge was a bit thin that day, so he took us to another spot. The breakfast we had upon returning was exceptionally delicious, with side dishes personally prepared by the owner – they were so good, and you could ask for more if you wanted. Choosing to stay at this guesthouse for this trip was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend it to everyone. Just to clarify, I'm not trying to promote anyone 😊, this is just my honest opinion.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We were among the last to arrive that day, so parking was a bit of a struggle, though we later discovered that parking on the roadside outside the guesthouse was also an option. You need to change shoes upon entering, and the owner provides slippers. The room had an old-fashioned kang (heated brick bed), which reminded me of the kang I slept on for several years as a child. It brought back fond memories; there's a term in my hometown called ”wu kang,” which means making a bed, instantly transporting me back to my childhood. My partner, however, had absolutely no idea how to make a bed. The next morning, we were heading to see the rime ice at 6:30 am when the owner said he could take us to a place that should have some (the forecast that day seemed to only be 1 star). He drove us to a spot that tourists would never find on their own (there were no roads or markers on the map), where we saw incredibly beautiful rime ice. Although it wasn't 5 stars, I still thought it was absolutely gorgeous! By the way, the owner can drive directly to the island. If you're going from Zengtong to Hantun, you need to cross a bridge, which apparently costs money. We didn't go that day, but we still saw incredibly beautiful rime ice right there. If I have the chance to come again next year, as long as it snows and then the weather clears up, there will basically be a great rime ice display (that's what I think the shopkeeper meant, haha).

First off, the elevator didn't require a key card to operate, so the security could definitely be improved. Everything else was great, especially the pillows! As someone who's very picky about pillows, the ones in the room were perfect for sleeping, haha. The front desk staff were all very attentive and thoughtful, and there was even a Jilin City travel guide posted on a pillar at the front desk. The location is also very convenient, close to Henan Street, the morning market, and the riverside, making it easy to walk around and shop. The soundproofing isn't the best though, you can hear conversations in the hallway.
When I checked out today, I was in a rush with my coffee. The front desk staff seemed to be asking if I wanted a bottle of water, but I didn't get a chance to answer. Thank you anyway, that was very kind~

Very clean, the owner is very helpful. For such fee charged, can't really complain.
Pls ask the owner to arrange car to drop you to wusong island for a more comfortable travelling (10 yuan / peson back and forth). She can also arrange a taxi to pick you up from her inn to jilin city/ jilin railway.
And must try her Manchu hotpot. Good portion and comforting.
Better to bring your own towel though. They provide a mini compress towel which might not be convenient.

This stay at the ski villa in Jilin was an absolutely fantastic experience!
Strong Design: The interior is beautifully decorated, showing meticulous attention to detail. Complete Facilities: The large-screen projector provides an excellent viewing experience, and the mahjong machine makes post-skiing relaxation even more enjoyable. High Comfort: The rooms are spacious and well-heated, keeping you very cozy. Excellent Amenities: It boasts a huge yard (perfect for barbecues in summer) and a superb location, very close to the ski resort, within walking distance.
