"Blindly picked this hotel for a short trip and my experience exceeded expectations. The environment is serene and quiet, with lots of greenery which is very calming. Housekeeping was meticulous; no water stains in the bathroom, no hair on the floor. The staff were warm and attentive, and they even delivered takeout right to my door. The room facilities were well-maintained and looked brand new; plenty of hot water, fast Wi-Fi, and excellent soundproofing, allowing for a good rest after a long day. Super value for money!"

"My stay here was fantastic! The hotel was easy to find with convenient parking, and check-in at the front desk was super fast. Zhu, at the front desk, was really warm, polite, and helpful. The room was clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. I loved that the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area – very thoughtful. The natural light was amazing, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning! The hotel also offers a free laundry room and a gym. It's close to great dining and shopping, yet still quiet and peaceful. The value for money is incredible! I've already saved it, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"Had a spontaneous idea to take the high-speed train to Shenzhen for a day, mainly to meet friends in Futian and grab some Magpie Pie at OCT. The hotel's location perfectly suited my travel needs, being close to the subway station and a major transportation hub. In between meals, my friend and I visited the Shenzhen Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which surprisingly turned out to be much more interesting and engaging than I expected. Beyond that, I was quite impressed by the hotel's high-rise views; the mountain and reservoir scenery from the lobby and restaurant was delightful. The butler service was warm and welcoming, and the food selection was rich and varied. Overall, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely prioritize staying at this Atour hotel again on future trips to Shenzhen."

"During the summer vacation, I brought my family to Shenzhen and chose this hotel near Huaqiangbei. It's right next to the electronics market and very close to the subway station. Huaqiangbei Pedestrian Street is just across the road, and the AviCity mall is super convenient for shopping and dining. The room hygiene was decent, the air conditioning cooled well, and the hot water supply was pretty stable. The soundproofing was just okay, but it didn't disturb our sleep at night. The summer pricing was budget-friendly, offering excellent value for money. It's a great base for family trips."

HHuashinaibaobeiI was in Shenzhen Nanshan near Nantou Ancient City and absolutely fell in love with this Qiuguo S hotel! The service was incredibly warm, and check-in was super fast. The hygiene was also top-notch, with no strange smells in the room. The smart 'Xiao Du' assistant was fantastic, letting me control the lights and air conditioning right from the bed. There are two adorable, fluffy cats in the lobby, and they offer a self-service breakfast and a laundry room. Plus, there are tons of places to eat and shop nearby. I had a wonderful stay!

GGuest UserTraveling to Shenzhen with my family, we stayed in the family room at Futian Huanggang Intercity Hotel, Shenzhen, and it was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it for families with children.
The family room was incredibly spacious and well-designed, offering separate sleeping areas for both adults and children, ensuring everyone had their own space and privacy. Our whole family felt relaxed and comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, free from any strange odors, and the hygiene details were impeccable. The lighting was excellent, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view of trains passing by at night, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The bedding featured high-end Sealy mattresses, which were both soft and supportive, and there was a choice of pillows, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable sleep for both adults and children. The smart home controls throughout the room were a hit with the kids – they loved using voice commands to turn lights on and off, open and close curtains, and adjust the air conditioning. It added so much fun and joy to our stay.
The bathroom was well-appointed with a separate shower and plenty of hot water with good pressure. After a day of sightseeing, a hot shower was just what we needed to wash away travel fatigue. The hotel even provided disposable bath bags, which was a nice touch for cleanliness and peace of mind. The quality toiletries and soft, skin-friendly bathrobes made the experience comparable to a high-end luxury hotel.
The location is absolutely fantastic! It's right by Metro Line 7, making it super convenient for getting around and catching trains. The service was warm and attentive; check-in at the front desk was efficient, and any requests were promptly addressed. The staff were all polite and friendly.

GGuest UserI was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations.
The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy.
The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building.
For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet.
Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers.
There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests.
The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated.
The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall.
The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great.
For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. Hopefully this review helps anyone considering staying in the area.

老板会说一些基础英语，人也非常热情。我刚从香港机场来到深圳北，他还主动提出可以带我熟悉一下周边环境。楼下和附近有很多吃的，我就在旁边吃了兰州拉面和臭豆腐，非常方便。
这家青旅位于一栋公寓楼内，是宿舍式布局。进门需要脱鞋，店家会提供室内拖鞋。公共区域有沙发和餐桌，提供免费饮用水，还有一次性牙刷和毛巾。我旅行时忘记带毛巾，这点对我来说非常贴心。卫生间是现代化的马桶，不需要蹲厕。
每个床位都有隐私帘和独立照明灯，床位旁边也有插座。Wi-Fi 信号稳定，没有任何问题。另外还提供免费洗衣服务，这对旅行者来说是很大的加分项。
店内有安静时间规定，所以晚上可以安心休息。我入住期间非常安静，也没有人打呼噜。老板还特意问我会不会打呼噜，可见他很照顾每位客人的感受。
其他住客都很礼貌、很安静。我是唯一的外国人，其他客人都是中国旅客，可能和我一样，当晚没买到火车票才临时入住。这里是无烟环境，我很喜欢这一点。
唯一的小缺点是对高个子来说床可能稍短。我身高183厘米（6英尺），需要稍微蜷着睡。床长大概180厘米左右，高个子可以提前考虑一下。不过整体来说还是可以接受的。
地理位置非常方便，就在火车站旁边。如果带行李，可以直接坐地铁到附近，我只花了2元人民币，完全没必要打车。第二天早上，我在附近买了猪肉包子和豆浆，老板也很友善，味道不错。
总的来说，4美元的价格性价比非常高。如果你在深圳北附近寻找一个干净、实惠又方便的住宿地点，这里是非常不错的选择。希望这条评价能帮到有需要的人。

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

GGuest UserMy overall experience at JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an was excellent, and I'd especially like to thank Guest Service Specialist Reina. The check-in process was efficient and smooth. Reina was professional and meticulous, proactively understanding my business travel needs. She thoughtfully arranged a quiet, high-floor room for me and patiently explained the hotel's office amenities, internet usage, and local business travel information. The room was clean and elegant, with complete office facilities, comfortable bedding, and good soundproofing, allowing for a restful night after a busy day. During my stay, I contacted Reina for some last-minute needs, and she responded quickly and handled everything appropriately, communicating with a warm and polite demeanor. Her service throughout truly showcased Marriott's professional standards. The hotel's location is excellent, making travel convenient, and the overall environment is grand and comfortable, suitable for both business meetings and short breaks. Reina's attentive and thoughtful service was incredibly heartwarming. I will definitely choose this hotel first for my next business trip.

- Both our rooms at level 10 were relatively close to each other facing the Wong Tee Plaza. It might be a way of the said front desk staff allocating these rooms to us to compensate for our unpleasant check in experience (see below). Spectacular views and we managed to spectate the night light show on Saturday without needing to go to the Civic Centre.
- Facilities are great including 24-hour well equipped gym and sauna (best of all hotels in China we experienced so far).
- Rooms are relatively new and fully equipped with necessities, has a dyson air dryer, Toto automatic toilet, automated curtains and a steamer to iron the clothes.
- Breakfast had a lot of varieties to offer (personally loved the oden and sushi section), good service too.
- Housekeeping was amazing. As I was leaving my room, Joy asked if we were interested in their laundry services and we declined as we do not have much laundry to do.
After the first day of housekeeping, she noticed we did simple laundry (1-2 pieces of undergarment) and offered us a complimentary mini laundry detergent. We appreciate her thoughtfulness despite the fact that we initially declined her services.
- Check out was relatively seamless, I believe it was the front office manager that managed our check out and explained the deposit refund procedures accordingly.
- Concierge was decent too as they suggested we are better off getting a Didi to transfer our move to our next destination, and helped us load our bags to the Didi.
Cons
The only downside experience was check in. We requested if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms (all good if not, at least as close to each other as possible within the same floor). We were advised that given interconnecting rooms are not available for the same type of rooms:
1.The staff provided an offer (upgrade to one of the bigger rooms that has interconnecting room with free 3 days hotel breakfast for 2 out of 4 pax). The quote/offer was outside of our budget hence we declined the offer and we just accept our original booking via Trip.com with no interconnecting rooms.
2.After we declined, the staff informed us that she miscalculated the price (from RMB 31k down to RMB 20k) for the same offer. This is very odd/confusing to us especially with the price difference due to miscalculation, and she was trying to push this offer to us again which we declined. At this point, whatever price quoted to us of this offer lost its credibility and we proceeded to stick to our original booking.
3.The staff said that she will notify us via WeChat (she added us on WeChat) once the room is ready. Understood at that time it was before check in time (i.e. before 3pm) hence we decided to grab lunch and come back after the check in time.
It was past 3pm and we heard nothing from her upon returning to hotel and had to approach the front desk to ask for an update. The same staff managed to provide us key card for one of the rooms while the other room is still not ready (it was past 3:20pm at that time). She said that she will arrange one of her coworkers to deliver the keycards to us once that other room is ready. Around 3:50-4:20pm, we heard nothing (I walked past the other room and noted the housekeeping has finished cleaning up the room and left). I had to go to the front desk to request an update and eventually obtained the keycard.
I am not sure if the above stems from the individual's motivation or if this is part of the hotel's standard procedure to aggressively upsell (even if we already said no) or if the front desk is pressured to meet monthly KPIs, but that left us an unpleasant check in experience and obviously did not represent the check in hospitality standards of the hotel itself.
Aside from the check in, we loved everything hence we had to give 4 out of 5.

The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, equipped with smart voice control devices. The King Koil mattress is just right, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast on the 14th floor offers a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western options. The lobby also provides complimentary tea and drinks 24/7. The service from the staff (Tibbers) was warm and attentive. The hotel is conveniently located near a commercial district, making travel easy, yet it's quiet despite being central. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen.

GGuest UserOur whole family came from Hong Kong to celebrate our child's birthday. We pre-ordered a cake online and had it delivered to the hotel. We informed the concierge beforehand, and they were incredibly thoughtful, helping us receive it and carefully placing it in the fridge to keep it fresh, saving us a lot of hassle. The family room we booked exceeded our expectations; it was fully decorated with charming cartoon themes and even had a small tent, which our child excitedly played with the moment we walked in. The hotel lobby has claw machines, perfect for keeping the kids entertained. The concierge also proactively gave us detailed recommendations for kid-friendly attractions nearby. The room itself was spacious and bright with a great view from the window. The interior decoration was cozy and soothing. There was a variety of pillows on the bed, including neck support pillows and soft pillows, ensuring a very restful sleep after our long journey. The staff were all very kind and attentive, from helping store our cake to offering comprehensive advice on local activities. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were excellent. Overall, our birthday trip was very relaxing and comfortable.

Now for the facts. I arrived at the hotel a little after 3 PM. The first time I tried to use my key card, it didn't work. The second time I got into a room, it hadn't been cleaned. The third time, the room I was given already had guests in it. I had to go back and forth myself each time; no hotel staff offered to help or actually checked the rooms beforehand.
After all this happened, the hotel staff didn't immediately offer compensation or a new room. Instead, they suggested I wait for my booked room to be cleaned. I refused to wait and mentioned I would report it to the consumer association. Only then did the hotel offer a free room upgrade, but nothing else.
