"Truly, we have so many sweet and unforgetable memories during our stay in Pan Pacific Hotel Suchou. We booked ”Family Two Bedrooms” for 4 of us & this room was the best family room we ever had. This room has 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 clean bathrooms and a mini kitchen with refridgerator, microwave and sink that made our in-room experience was very comfortable. The housekeeping was also very kind plus their excellent services to mention. We remember this Ms. Xia Ning, a room attendant, who left a beautiful postcard in our room with her heartful and warm greetings with her own handwritings to make sure we had comfortable stay and satisfied. We are surely touched by her beyond service.
The hotel's breakfast was one of the best with so various dishes and all were delicious. Some food were resembling the famous and delicate Chinese cuisines.
We fully enjoyed Pan Pacific Suzhou Hotel's Panmen Scenic Area. The scenes of their large beautiful garden at noon and at night was unforgetable. We had a chance to try Chinese traditional clothings from Wu Palace Hanfu Experience Center (with Ms. Yichen's generous assistance) and also one-hour cheongsam experience (for women) that helped us to take many beautiful memorable photos. Other hotel's enjoyable benefits include Suzhou Memories-Wu Palace Historical, Collection of Passport Documents for Wu Palace, Tai Chi Experience, CNY 100 SPA voucher at Jialiya Spa & Free self-service laundry and drying. It surely gave us worth time to spent in the hotel. Our sweet 5-star experience with Pan Pacific Suzhou Hotel this time surely will make us to come back to this great hotel in our next visit to Suzhou."

"The environment is elegant and comfortable, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The location is excellent; Pingjiang Road is right around the corner, and a few minutes' walk to the left will take you to famous attractions like Lion Grove Garden, Humble Administrator's Garden, and the museum. It's super convenient! The staff at the inn were very enthusiastic and helpful. We dropped off our luggage and immediately went to explore Pingjiang Road. I didn't take pictures of the room, but the photos are of the beautiful courtyard at the inn."

"This hotel is right next to Pingjiang Road, which makes it super convenient for anyone planning to visit Humble Administrator's Garden, Suzhou Museum, or Lion Grove Garden. The rooms are a bit small and the facilities are a little dated, but everything you need is there. The service, though, is absolutely top-notch! Despite the older hardware, they deliver an excellent service experience. I arrived quite early in the morning and my room wasn't ready yet, but the front desk still went ahead and processed my check-in and stored my luggage. They even called me as soon as a room became available. All the in-room amenities were shrink-wrapped, which was a nice touch. My only minor issue was that I'm used to turning off the main power switch to kill all lights when I sleep, but at Pingjiang House, the main switch also cuts power to the outlets. I woke up the next morning to find my phone hadn't charged at all."

"Our experience at the Suzhou City Holiday Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's facade is very stylish and well-designed. They upgraded us to a duplex family suite for free, which was a lovely surprise. The front desk staff, especially the young lady who checked us in, was so lively and friendly. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, and the breakfast offered a great variety of dishes. We all had a wonderful time; both the elderly and the children loved it. "I chose the Anyi Hotel on Guanqian Street for my business trip to Suzhou, and it completely met my business travel needs, exceeding my expectations! "The day before my stay, the butler proactively contacted me to confirm my booking, and that's when I realized I had booked the wrong room. The butler quickly helped me sort it out, which I really appreciated. When we arrived, it was a bit cold, and the hotel promptly brought us a heater, which was a great help. Swimming at night felt amazing with the whole pool to myself. There's a shallow pool, but the water temperature is the same as the adult pool, so it's not ideal for very young children. There's a piano performance in the lobby in the evenings. The kids' play area is free for guests, but it closes a bit too early. The complimentary travel photography was excellent, with no aggressive sales pitches. There were quite a few foreigners in the Western restaurant."

"The most, most, most recommended hotel in Suzhou! The young men and women at the front desk were all so gentle and thoughtful, always noticing what we needed. I really love the atmosphere here – it's so quiet and comfortable. The room was very clean, and the facilities were complete, even including a projector! The cleaning auntie was also very enthusiastic, helping us check what needed restocking. When it rained, they even prepared umbrellas for us. They even prepared drinks for us at check-out, in case we got thirsty on the road. This hotel deserves 5 stars!"

The hotel features a minimalist wabi-sabi style with large areas of open space, matched with Venetian blinds, cotton and linen fabrics, making it a great spot for photography.
"I spontaneously decided to visit Suzhou, and initially booked this hotel because of its name – it gave me a carpe diem kind of vibe. Another reason was its proximity to all the attractions I wanted to visit. It's just one or two stops away from Suzhou Museum, Lion Grove Garden, Humble Administrator's Garden, and more. Plus, it's really close to Pingjiang Road, which was perfect for evening strolls, eating, and enjoying Pingtan performances. And yes, you really can see the Twin Pagodas from the room! The owner even gave me some homemade bread, which I took with me as a snack on the go."

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the old location of Suzhou so the surrounding areas are all full of cultural experiences. The location is ideal for visiting several gardens such as The Couple's Retreat Garden, Lion Grove Garden, and Humble Administrator's Garden (all within walking distance). However, it is a bit difficult to reach by car, as you would have to cross a small bridge and go over slightly rough roads (not ideal for multiple luggage, especially large ones).
The hotel breakfast is soup noodles, with 8 different options, and it comes with a dessert (mung bean cake, a local specialty). It does get a bit tiring and repetitive once you eat it for a long time though. But, there are plenty of other alternative options up and down the street the hotel is located in. Various food stalls, restaurants, and even bakeries are all located within walking distance. The hotel also provides a ticketed experience to a local activity known as 评弹, a type of operatic singing famous for its soothing sound and tendency to invoke sleepiness.
The hotel rooms are neat and kept clean with no odor. Throughout the hotel, a pleasing scent was smelled and it seems that one could buy the same scent from one of the various stalls open on the street. The bathroom amenities include: hair dryer, bath robes, toothbrushes, a vanity set, razor, and a comb (along with another item that slipped my mind). The toilet is automated and has a heated seat. Unfortunately, the showers are a bit difficult to use (low water pressure and difficulty in setting temperature). There are three settings for the shower: overhead, handheld, and spout. The rooms that we ordered (two single beds) included a sitting room furnished with a rocking chair and a mini fridge (drinks inside have to be paid for). The water bottles placed outside the fridge and the snacks on the table are complimentary and free of charge. The hotel also has a laundry machine that both washes and dries the clothes. Sadly, it doesn't properly dry clothes if more than 1.5 sets of clothing are placed inside. Drying racks and clothing hangers are provided for such scenarios. Laundry baskets were also provided. The hotel does not have elevators, given the antiquity of the neighborhood, so heavy luggage and suitcases have to be carried by hand up the stairs.
The hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful with anything we needed. We had a total of 8 suitcases (5 checked and 3 carry-ons) and the staff (overnight as we checked in at around 12 AM) voluntarily led us to the room and helped carry our bags up. When we ran into a problem with the laundry machine, the staff helped clear up the misunderstanding.
Attached are photos of the lobby (picture of the table with the tea sets), the hotel room that was booked (the other room looked the same, just mirrored placement), the sitting room, and complimentary food that was provided.

Our butler, Vickey, proactively reached out via WeChat even before our arrival, meticulously inquiring about our arrival time and preferences. This kind of thoughtful, pre-emptive care instantly put us at ease. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find our room on the top floor (the third floor), cleverly avoiding any potential noise from the park and offering both excellent privacy and views.
The hotel's facilities seamlessly blend the charm of Jiangnan gardens with modern luxury. In the room, the mini-bar was complimentary for the first round and meticulously restocked daily by the butler, offering a full range of soft drinks and local specialty snacks. The daily complimentary fresh seasonal fruits, whether it was bayberries or Cuiguan pears, truly embodied the spirit of Suzhou. What impressed me most was the 'sense of proportion' in the service – the butler was never intrusive, yet the morning weather reminders and evening inquiries about adjusting the air conditioning temperature were always perfectly timed. The hot spring pool and dry sauna in the changing rooms by the swimming pool further enhanced the relaxed vacation vibe. There was no forced flattery here, only a subtle, comforting attentiveness that caters to travelers' needs – a true haven for those who understand what makes a great trip.

The location is truly excellent. The hotel is right in the Pingjiang Road area—one of the most beautiful and famous ancient streets in Suzhou. Just step outside and you can enjoy a relaxing walk along the canals, admire traditional houses, and explore charming cafés and small local shops. It’s also about 3 km from Shantang Road, around a 15-minute taxi ride.
At night, the area lights up beautifully, creating a very charming atmosphere.

JjenniferfangThis trip was a family outing. I brought my in-laws to Suzhou to celebrate their birthday a bit early, so I specifically looked for a historic building with a Suzhou garden style. I booked three rooms and contacted the hotel to arrange two ground-floor rooms with courtyards. The hotel even thoughtfully prepared a birthday cake for my mother and offered turn-down service with a light soup in the evening. The restaurant was also good. We initially considered dining there on the first night but weren't sure about the dishes. After breakfast the next day, we decisively had lunch at the restaurant, and both elders thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel's arrangements for coming and going were also very well-managed. This trip's food and accommodation were both excellent. A truly great hotel!

The hotel is very warm and comfortable, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are just the right firmness for a wonderful sleep. The room amenities are comprehensive, from the smart lighting to the high-quality toiletries, and every detail feels thoughtfully thought out.

I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Suzhou! It's right next to Nanhe North Road Station on Metro Line 5, making it incredibly convenient to get around. A short walk takes you to the vibrant Shiquan Street and the exquisite Master of the Nets Garden, and a taxi ride to Pingjiang Road or Guanqian Street costs just the minimum fare. KKok Hong GanI had a wonderful stay at this homestay at 平江路. The location is very strategic, with easy access to many attractions, shops, and food spots, making it very convenient to explore the area.
The place itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made the whole stay smooth and enjoyable.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. I accidentally left my phone in a taxi, and the host went above and beyond to help me. They quickly coordinated with the driver and handled everything until my phone was safely returned.

SStanley The Travel ManI arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner. I didn’t and still don’t have an eSIM that can make local call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free. I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands. I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.
I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop to Suzhou which was my next destination.
This operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.
After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge . If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass. Do check with the owner for up to date information.
The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.
Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. . There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy. It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances.
The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.
This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.
I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket.
