The hotel's location is excellent, just two subway stops away from the Suzhou Museum and Humble Administrator's Garden. The decor is very fresh and modern, with smart home features throughout. The room size and layout are very well-designed, making it super comfortable for families with kids!

The room is very clean, not crowded, with a collection of patterns and style. The windows are large and the view is good. There is a children's playground on the first floor of Building 2, which the children like. The breakfast is rich. Bird watching and scenic spot tickets are given, which is very cost-effective. Bird watching is worth going. The scenic spot rocking boat is worth a ride, 30 yuan/person. There are few people on the rainy Dragon Boat Festival, which is not bad. The hotel staff is enthusiastic. This was by far THE BEST hotel I stayed at during my journey through various cities in China. I like places well infused with natural lighting. This hotel was very beautifully designed and built.bThe space felt open, natural, and fresh. The lobby staff were very professional and courteous. They accommodated my sister's request to have both rooms near each other on the same floor. The male host was also very attentive. There was always high quality hot tea and passion fruit juice in the lobby available for self serve. They had some nice shops within the hotel I unfortunately did not have the time to peruse. Breakfast and lunch were available in the hotel and the food quality was very good. One of the most important and overlooked features for travelers who travel light during the hottest and most humid times of the year is laundry service. They had modern washing machines available for self service around the clock, and they also had full laundry service for those who are too busy or too incompetent to do it themselves. Laundry room also had a mini gym for those who like to work out during their vacation time. The hotel itself has contained within it two gardens as well as a pool area (with fish, not for swimming, that had a Chinese Guzheng instrument. It was designed and built as a great place to relax in tranquility. The rooms were also airy and beautiful, well lit by indirect sunlight. Toilets were very modern with those high tech bidets. In the very beginning upon entering the room, sensors would turn on the TV which greeted you and offered room services upon command. My room included an additional mini-room with a small tent for my daughter to play in. She took advantage of that rather quickly. I was very comfortable in that room for my two nights stay. Plenty of electric outlets were in the room and they were installed in convenient and practical locations. The sink was large and came with toiletries in boxes designed to be placed with each other in a way that created a larger picture. I liked how they went into the details on even that. At the end of the visit, the female host also came to say goodbye and gave my daughter a present. This definitely is a hotel I would return to and recommend for any respectful traveler to tarry at should they pass through Suzhou.

Both receptionists were very friendly and offered tea during check-in. They also kindly asked if I wanted a room upgrade and breakfast. It was a pleasant stay.

Our trip to Suzhou was to see a concert with my child. As someone from the Northeast, I was quite excited to visit Suzhou for the first time. Staying at the Suzhou Jinji Lake L Hotel was a wise choice. I had initially shortlisted three hotels online: one in the old city's Taohuawu district, another a five-star hotel near the Gate of the Orient, and this Suzhou Jinji Lake L Hotel. The main reason I ultimately chose this one was because it's relatively new, and the reviews seemed good. I also saw some photo reviews that made it look quite stylish (though I admit I was a little worried they might be fake at the time). However, my concerns were relieved upon arrival – it really does look just like the pictures! The service was also excellent, very warm and thoughtful. Our flight was delayed, so we checked in late at night, and the staff even gave us some bread to try. Breakfast is also highly recommended! We stayed for 5 nights, and even though the menu was the same each day, we never felt the food was monotonous; there were plenty of choices. Another plus is that the hotel has so many photo opportunities everywhere, perfect for kids who love taking pictures. The surrounding environment is also great; step outside and you're at Jinji Lake Moonlight Wharf, with many restaurants nearby, giving it a very cultured vibe. The room had so much character, you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.

As an elderly solo traveler, I rarely write reviews; it's quite a bother. However, from the moment I arrived, I was touched by a young lady at the front desk, whom I affectionately call 'Little Latiao' (Spicy Strip). It was raining that day, and she saw me leave without an umbrella, so she chased after me to the hotel entrance to hand me one. Today, as I'm leaving, she's again helping me with my luggage and waiting with me for my pre-booked car. Thank you, Little Latiao! I also want to extend my gratitude to the staff on the 4th floor who also assisted me. The 5-star rating is entirely for Little Latiao and the 4th-floor staff. Now for a quick review of the hotel itself. The location is excellent, just a few steps from Pingjiang Road. The room layout is quite similar to Mehood Lestie hotels, just a bit smaller, but still very comfortable. The front desk and floor service are both good, and the shower water pressure is great. It's also easy to get a taxi. The absolute worst part, and what significantly lowers the hotel's rating, is the breakfast restaurant. The service is terrible, and the staff's communication skills are poor. What truly astonished me was seeing them eat their own meal before guest dining hours were even over. In years of traveling and staying at dozens of hotels, this is the only time I've ever witnessed such a thing. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's acceptable for the price. However, often before 9 AM, most items are already gone. Honestly, because of the breakfast restaurant, I cannot give this hotel a 5-star rating.

My stay at the Qiyupai Air Courtyard Resort Hotel during my trip to Suzhou was absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to Shantang Street, and the subway is also very convenient. It's truly a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. The high-altitude courtyard design is incredibly atmospheric, with a blend of Suzhou-style Zen and a dry landscape garden. Watching the sunset over the ancient city from the terrace in the evening, as the lights begin to glow, was incredibly soothing and therapeutic. The room came with its own private, constantly-heated hot spring bath, offering excellent privacy. Soaking in the hot spring while enjoying the evening breeze completely washed away all my travel fatigue. The attention to detail was exceptional – a giant projection screen and smart bathroom facilities were all available, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly. Breakfast was a semi-buffet featuring authentic Suzhou specialties, with freshly made pastries that tasted great. The serving hours were also very accommodating. The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive, and they even provided helpful tips for exploring the local area upon check-in. Overall, the hotel is clean and elegant, perfect for both couples on a romantic getaway or friends traveling together. Staying here in Suzhou is a sure bet, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!

I highly recommend this hotel ❤️. It's right on the main street of Pingjiang Road, by the canal. It's not one of those tiny guesthouses; it seems to have nearly twenty rooms, and the decor and facilities are excellent. Most rooms are on the second floor, and downstairs, you're right amidst all sorts of food and shops, which is incredibly convenient. During the day, Pingjiang Road is bustling with people, but the windows have two layers, providing good sound insulation. By about 10:30 PM, the streets quiet down, so you can go downstairs and stroll around leisurely. At night, the streets are mostly empty, making the rooms very quiet. The rooms are clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The staff are also very warm and attentive. The parking lot is right across the street, just over a small bridge. It's also very close to nearby attractions from the hotel.

They gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room, which was a nice surprise. The subway is only a 10-minute walk away, which is super convenient. It's great that we could cook our own meals, and the cleaning staff came to tidy up every day. The breakfast spread was quite generous. We even got little gifts when we checked in and out at the front desk, and they gave us mugwort for Dragon Boat Festival! Such a thoughtful touch.
