"A friend recommended this hotel, and overall, it was fantastic! The receptionist was very kind and gentle, and she upgraded our room for free. The facilities were complete and cozy, and the lake view from the balcony was amazing—so pleasant! The hotel staff were all very polite, always greeting us with a smile, even the chefs and room service staff. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming everywhere.

"Living in a homestay is like opening a blind box. Fortunately, this time I opened a particularly good blind box. The decoration is elegant, clean and hygienic, the space is comfortable, the small Zen yard and the public rest area give us a very good stay experience. The boss also gave us particularly good travel advice. The fried eggplant with green peppers for breakfast is especially delicious. "Overall, it is OK, that is, the decoration is old-fashioned, and the modernization is not enough. It’s okay to travel and live, it should be considered one of the best hotels in Taining for comprehensive conditions and cost performance.
Facilities: There are everything in the room, there are sandals. The TV is a bit old and it seems that the screen cannot be cast. The network is a bit poor and the WiFi cannot be found directly the next day.
Hygienic: There is nothing wrong with it, it can be seen that all aspects are cleaned relatively clean, that is, the facilities themselves are relatively old.
Environment: The old money style of wine red, the old generation is estimated to like it, not very pleasant to young people. There will be a smell when entering the room, and it is okay to get used to it. When I took a shower in the bathroom, there was a smell of smoke (the feeling of being in the smell 😢)

"What a fantastic experience! The staff were all very nice. The place was very clean and the facilities were complete. The guesthouse even offered free pick-up and drop-off service from the train station! So thoughtful! It's not far from the center of the old town, and the alleyways leading to Shangshu Mansion offer unique scenery. We also met a really kind driver along the way who offered to pick us up with a simple phone call. Aside from the bad weather, everything was great on this trip."

"The room was clean and refreshing, the environment was nice and quiet, and the receptionist was exceptionally helpful, carefully recommending local restaurants. The owner was very thoughtful, providing disinfectant wipes on the toilet seat. The breakfast was delicious; the stir-fried shredded pork with vegetables was amazing, and the soy milk with ginger was both tasty and warming. The dining environment was clean and the service was excellent. The drivers were also very friendly; we negotiated the price and time with them beforehand, and they took turns picking us up and dropping us off, which was very convenient and reassuring. I will definitely choose this guesthouse again next time I visit Taining."

"Nice hotel, right in the most attractive part of Taining town. It's a few minutes walk from the historic district, right on the river front. Easy access also to get to the natural scenic areas of the region. The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-maintained. The room is spacious and has modern features. The staff is very helpful, they do their best to accommodate a laowai customer. The only critique I have that is true for the vast majority of the hotels in China that the breakfast isn't exactly attractive for foreigners. One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu"

"The hotel is in the alley, and you can't see it outside. I parked the car on the road and asked the bakery at the entrance of the alley. I saw the hotel in the alley. Breakfast is not very good, generally, the dishes are cold, the waiter is there loudly, chatting, very noisy, no rules. The room air conditioning heating is not good. The room was cold to sleep, I turned on the air conditioner, and put the big quilt prepared in the room on it.
There is no hair dryer in the room, and the hair dryer socket is still bad, loose and cannot be plugged in. There is a socket at the bedside, which is also bad. The hair dryer was what I asked the waiter in the corridor. MMeiyoulianThe room is exactly like the picture, what you see is what you get, the whole room is filled with spring water, and it is only about 200 meters away from the opposite side of Dajin Lake.
The boss is very enthusiastic and provides breakfast in the morning. If you want to eat here at noon or evening, it is highly recommended. It is delicious and affordable, and the price is reasonable.

GGuest UserI like it so much. By the clear river, the wind and rain covered bridge crosses the river. The environment is quiet and convenient. It is not far from the ancient town of the scenic spot and Dajin Bridge.
The little girl is very thoughtful, contact us in advance, and provide location, pointing out parking and charging locations.
The room was clean and tidy. The utensils are very new.
The breakfast is small and beautiful, and the tableware is exquisite.
For our questions, the little sister is tireless, there are questions and answers, which makes people feel warm.

AAnonymous UserInitially booked a deluxe queen suite and Trip.com / hotel confirmed we could add a single bed. Upon arrival, hotel said they couldn't and changed us to a family suite even though they have rollaway beds available and the deluxe queen suite had ample space.
Room: Family suite is spacious but A/C took very long to warm up the room. Bathroom is open concept with clothing rack situated outside the shower closet which makes it inconvenient to dress/undress.
Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of Chinese dishes including a noodle station.
Location: Hotel is ＜10 min drive from train station and old town area which is quite convenient considering that most of the hotels that are walking distance from the old town are dated and undermaintained.
