"A hotel can be old, but cleanliness is fundamental! Ten years ago, the room materials appeared to be high-end, and the thick marble in the bathroom exuded a sense of luxury from that era. However, it can't withstand years of wear and tear. If you look up at the drainage pipes on the balcony ceiling, the exposed pipes are really unsightly… And the drooping decorative materials on the exterior facade – surely they can't go untouched for ten years? You look down at the withered leaves in the greenery – surely that's not how it should be maintained daily? I appreciate the front desk upgrading me to a main building room with a balcony; the view of the Sanqing Mountains is indeed spectacular. That said, the balcony itself is quite narrow. I wonder if most guests still watch TV more, and if a small tea table instead of a large round table on the balcony might make for a more harmonious proportion? As for the underground parking garage, well, all those buckets of inexplicable stuff piled up there – do we really not need safety checks? I must commend your lobby security (didn't catch the name) and the SPA manager (from Hunan, I believe). They confidently showcased the culture and confidence of Sanqing Mountain to guests. From a distance, even late at night, they were chatting freely and making recommendations, which is truly impressive! "Had a very pleasant stay. The hotel's location is about a ten to fifteen-minute walk from the Jinsha cable car, which is pretty good. The lobby and restaurant are at the front, with several guest room buildings behind, connected by a corridor, making it convenient for dining or going out. The mountain view room offered fantastic scenery; even just lying in bed and watching the clouds was a treat. The restaurant's food and service were also excellent. What's even more commendable is the butler service. They contacted us in advance to find out our check-in time and helped us plan our itinerary. It was raining on the day we arrived, so we followed their advice to hike the next day and saw some incredibly beautiful scenery. However, mountain weather is unpredictable and each variation has its own charm, so it's best to just go with the flow. A wonderful Sanqingshan, wonderful memories. 🌹"

"The place is reasonably new and close to the cable car. There are new buildings being constructed nearby, so the surroundings are a bit dusty and dirty. It’s currently more suitable for people with cars, as there’s no proper walkway for pedestrians from the hotel to the main street. Having a laundry room is a lifesaver. The room is spacious, with huge bathroom spaces but lacks space to put your luggage. The windows are a bit dirty, and the air conditioner only works in heating mode, which makes it too hot for sleeping. If I have to compare, I think this is the best accommodation in town. We stayed at a homestay-style place further up the road for a night before, it was extremely dirty. It’s also very close to one of the best restaurants in town, 老妈炒菜, where I had some of the best stir-fries, especially the eggplant and snake beans. They have a great breakfast shop a bit further down on the opposite side — highly recommended! Side note: There’s a homeless dog in town. I couldn’t help him, but I hope he stays safe and that someone gives him a better life one day."

Since our tickets were valid for two days, we bravely went up the mountain on consecutive days. I felt the scenery from the Gangshou ascent was more reminiscent of Huangshan, while the Waishuangxi ascent offered views more like the postcard images of Mount Sanqing. The most popular Jinsha cable car route mainly showcases 'Juran Chushan' and the 'Oriental Goddess,' but personally, I found those views to be just average."

They even cooked the dishes I requested, which were delicious! The guesthouse is very close to the Jinsha Cableway at Sanqingshan Mountain. I booked two nights. The Grand Loop tour uses the Jinsha Cableway from 8 am to 4 pm, and the guesthouse is just a 2-minute walk away. A hot shower washes away the fatigue, dinner is enjoyed, and a good night's sleep leaves me feeling refreshed and ready to start the day. The Mountain and Stream Guesthouse is truly wonderful!"
