"1. First, I suggest the hotel removes air fresheners from the rooms. Only budget hotels use them to mask odors.
2. I was given a room that was still being cleaned upon check-in. I had to wait outside in over 30-degree Celsius heat for more than 20 minutes. There was no emergency plan or special handling. A simple room swap to a similar or better room type would have sufficed. Instead, the 'emergency solution' was a room on an inferior floor, which I was moved into without any prior inspection after cleaning. Water stains were still visible in the room and on the balcony.
3. The refrigerator smelled of leftover food. The 'mini-bar' consisted of just one Fanta and one Sprite, which I wouldn't drink anyway.
4. The shower room design is flawed. There's nowhere to hang towels outside the shower stall. For a twin room with two people showering, there's no consideration for privacy.
5. The room directly faces the high-speed rail tracks. High-speed trains roar past around midnight and 7 AM.
6. The prices fluctuate greatly; booking later can actually be cheaper.
7. The breakfast is, at best, worth 68 yuan, but the advertised price is a huge exaggeration.
8. The complimentary surfing lesson needs clearer instructions and improved teaching quality. It should be clear how many people are in a 'one-to-many' session. It's definitely not worth 298 yuan."

"After a lot of online comparisons, I looked at many hotels and finally chose the Grand Hyatt Shenzhou Peninsula. We stayed for three nights, and both the adults and children were incredibly happy and loved it. The entire hotel has a strong Southeast Asian style, with all villa buildings (there's a shuttle service within the hotel for convenient transport). As soon as you enter, the vacation vibe hits you. The entrance pathway especially reminded me of the W Hotel in Bali – it's hard not to like it.
The hotel's breakfast is incredibly rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, and served until 10:45 AM, which is very friendly for those who struggle to wake up early. All the hotel staff are exceptionally polite and have excellent service attitudes. Additionally, the hotel has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, though the kids preferred swimming outdoors. In the evenings, there's live music, and swimming while listening to songs is truly wonderful. The beach is right across the road from the hotel, and I personally think it's better than the Westin's beach. About 100 meters to the right of the hotel entrance is Alamauna Town, which is very convenient for dining, though the prices are comparable to Shanghai – not cheap, but still a joy to try local delicacies. It's also very convenient to get to Xinglong Town and Dong'ao Town from the hotel. Choosing the Grand Hyatt definitely won't disappoint."

"This time the hotel wasn't very busy, so I didn't have to wait for my room. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially asking about my check-in preferences. In the afternoon, when I was heading out, I even saw a big mascot in the lobby who interacted with me, which made my stay feel super nice. There were also little squirrels, super cute! This whole experience was fantastic, and I really appreciate such thoughtful service. The price wasn't high either, making it excellent value for money!"

"Fantastic! The overall experience was excellent. The customer service was incredibly enthusiastic – a special shout-out to our butler, Kim! There were lots of activities, though we didn't get to do any of them. 😁 The hotel's private beach was also not crowded. While it doesn't have the grand lobby of a Westin, and the breakfast selection isn't huge, and the toiletries are a nightmare for someone who hates cilantro, I still felt incredibly comfortable staying there. So much so that even now, staying at the Grand Hyatt in Wanning, I really miss the service at Le Méridien. (If I had to choose again, I'd still prefer Le Méridien.)
Oh, and Le Méridien has more shuttle bus services to Sanya Duty-Free than the Grand Hyatt too!"

"Whenever I'm on Shenzhou Peninsula, I always stay at the Four Points by Sheraton. It offers great value for money. The hotel has its own beach, which is perfect for photoshoots, especially with Zhouzai Island directly opposite and the Shenzhou Peninsula lighthouse in the distance. Both in the morning and at sunset, it's an excellent spot for pictures. The beach is spacious, great for a morning run. The grounds are beautiful, with natural garden landscapes and plenty of activities for children, including a pool playground, an outdoor activity park, and an indoor playground. In the evening, you can relax at the beach bar, listen to music, and enjoy the breeze – a perfect example of a slow-paced lifestyle. Dining is also very convenient; a taxi ride of less than ten yuan takes you to the Shenzhou Peninsula Food Paradise, where you'll find a wide variety of options like BBQ, 'zaopo cu' (vinegar-marinated seafood), and other seafood dishes. There's plenty to choose from; just pick a place that's busy and you won't go wrong. Our hotel butler, Ella, contacted us in advance. She was incredibly enthusiastic and helped us finalize our itinerary and room. What truly stood out was her effort to ensure we could stay in the same room as our previous visit, which is a fantastic service. They keep records, so as long as the room is available, you can re-book your favorite one. I will definitely continue to stay here in the future."

"The hotel room was basically clean, and the beach was within walking distance. The pool was quite large, but with people trying out paddleboarding and surfing, it felt a bit crowded and chaotic for kids to swim in. The hotel's second phase is still under renovation, and you could clearly hear the sound of drills near the pool, starting promptly at 8 AM. The guests next door and their children were noisy until midnight, but a call to the front desk resolved the issue promptly. Upon check-out the next day, they even offered small lotions as an apology. The uploaded picture shows the sea view from the room for reference."

The hotel service was excellent; any issues were resolved immediately.
Every night, there's a complimentary sweet soup. I didn't try it, but the butler always informed guests it was available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Right outside the hotel is a street full of bars, including 216 Restaurant & Bar and Malt, all just a short walk away. It's a great way to spend time, just chilling there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby.
At night, the bars are incredibly lively and bustling – definitely a young crowd!"

Guest UserOverall, my stay was fantastic. The cleanliness was top-notch, the room was spacious, and it was very quiet. The free breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The hotel's pets were incredibly well-behaved, especially the dogs, who were very friendly. The location was convenient, not too far from the beach at two kilometers, and renting a car right at the entrance was easy. Short trips by taxi or car were quick. The service was attentive, and the overall value for money was excellent.

It's close to the beach and offers a variety of games and activities, with plenty of options for sea sports. We booked both sea-view and garden-view rooms, and both were comfortable and spacious – a hit with both the elders and the kids. The breakfast spread was diverse, and the dinner restaurant served really delicious food; our friends even praised it when we had a gathering. Room service was excellent; anything we needed was delivered within minutes, and amenities were replenished daily. Mile handled everything with great care and attention to detail, even surprising our child with a cake. Thumbs up! 👍

Stepping into the guesthouse, I was struck by the wall covered with motorcycle pictures, which suggests the owner is a sports and motorcycle enthusiast. The guesthouse was clean overall, with a quiet environment amidst the hustle and bustle. There were even casually placed beanbag chairs, a fully equipped barbecue grill, a pool table, and a Smith game table. I wish the owner great success in his business!

Alicka Resort was absolutely stunning and incredibly photogenic! I booked it well in advance, and it certainly didn't disappoint. My whole family had such a fantastic time; we'll definitely be back! Alicka Resort | Hidden Gem in Riyue Bay, a World-Class Surfing Destination.
This 'artistic aesthetic space' was personally designed by a Spanish master, blending the architectural essence of Morocco with the cultural aesthetics of the Li ethnic group.

The hotel is less than 5 minutes' ride from the train station. There are shopping malls around it, which makes travel very convenient. The hotel service attitude is very good. The room is equipped with smart Xiaodu, which is very convenient and the children like it very much. The hotel's hygiene is to change after each guest, which makes me feel relieved. I will choose Hillyue Wanning Hotel next time!

The value-added service went to Xinglong Tropical Botanical Garden and was particularly pleasant. I met the Chaoshan fellow tour guide Xueqin sister and felt very kind! The explanation is professional and meticulous, warm and thoughtful, the tropical plant knowledge is vivid and interesting, the whole process is caring, the township sound is warm, the service is full, and the journey is super comfortable!

韩森山在中国I stayed here for 5 days in the off season. Booked a single room, price was decent. The bed was comfortable, it had a desk for me to work during the day. There's a gym on the ground level that honestly has all the equipment I needed, a rare thing in these parts. The owner is from dongbei and was super friendly, he treated us to baijiu and frozen pears (dongbei). This was a great spot to chill out for a while and relax. I should probably mention that my Mandarin is pretty good. I met another traveller that could speak English but other than that you might need to whip out the ol goog translate. I needed to move on otherwise I would've stayed here longer, great place!

After reading many reviews, I chose this hotel. Before coming, I was worried about cleanliness and heard that the roads nearby were bad. However, upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised! The room was big and bright, especially the balcony, which was huge and offered a first-class sea view. Sitting on the balcony was a real treat. The surroundings were also very quiet and beautiful. The room even had its own washing machine, kitchen, and refrigerator, though there were no bowls or pots. It was completely worth the money. We arrived early, and the front desk staff immediately arranged a room for us. I don't know why some people said the roads were bad; the roads were perfectly fine to drive on. Perhaps they were referring to the parking lot road. The only downside is that there aren't many attractions nearby. However, if you're coming for the winter with a few families, it's quite good. Although there's no public transportation, it's easy to hail a ride right outside. The island's sightseeing buggy can also pick up and drop off guests to the bridgehead.
