"Extremely satisfied with this trip! The surfing experience was amazing! 😍 As a first-time surfer 🏄‍♀️, this all-inclusive stay (food, accommodation, and activities) was fantastic. I didn't have to worry about a thing; I could just ask the hotel butler anytime (they provide contact info). A special shout-out to our butler, Mia, who was incredibly responsive and always came through 👍. We were upgraded to the Yuanyu Hotel area. The clean and elegant architectural design instantly brought a sense of peace and comfort to my restless mind, especially in the hot 🥵 weather of Wanning, Hainan. The room was spacious, and I immediately soaked in the large bathtub after cleaning it. I didn't get to use the hotel pool because I was too tired and it was too late when I returned that day. My only two minor complaints about this hotel area are that it's a bit far from the pool… which is why I didn't bother going for a swim 🏊‍♀️. Also, cars occasionally pass on the road from the Yuanyu Hotel to the main lobby, which felt a bit dangerous… Regarding the overall experience within the resort, I hope they can improve the signage. Some user pathways require pre-planning and clearer guidance. Taking the swimming pool as an example again, it was a bit hard to find 👀 after leaving the lobby."

"This Westin Shimei Bay in Wanning is excellent and a popular spot for influencers. The lobby and sea are seamlessly connected, creating a grand and sophisticated design that surpasses the Westin Clearwater Bay and Westin Haitang Bay. The decor is opulent, and the design is outstanding. The hotel itself is expansive with a beautiful environment, and the rooms are great too. Its prime beachfront location, with lawns leading right to the sea and Jiajing Island directly opposite, offers a plethora of activities. There are also many pools suitable for all ages. Breakfast is abundant, and the staff efficiently seats guests, ensuring a calm and quiet dining experience. There are plenty of dining options nearby, all within easy walking distance. We booked a pool access room, and our child had an absolute blast! The hotel service is also top-notch, with staff always greeting you with a smile. A special shout-out to our butler, Ayn, who was incredibly attentive. Not only did they send us a hotel guide in advance, but they also thoughtfully monitored our needs in real-time, reminded us of important details, and were always ready to assist – truly meeting the service standards of a 5-star-plus hotel! If given the chance, I would definitely return to the Westin Shimei Bay in Wanning."

"This hotel in Riyue Bay is a reliable, standard online booking, conveniently located within the scenic area. The hotel efficiently arranged transportation for various guests, and the room facilities and services were familiar and dependable, while also incorporating local characteristics. The only thing to note is that if you prefer quiet evenings, you should book an interior room, as the side closer to the street and ocean can be quite lively."

"I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Wanning. This is the 8th hotel I've stayed at in Hainan. Before my trip, I was worried that Wanning wouldn't be as lively or fun as Sanya, but after staying here, I didn't want to leave! It offers a fantastic resort experience. The grounds are beautiful, with stunning views at every turn, far from being cliché. If you're tired of Sanya's hotels, this place offers a refreshing change. I paid to upgrade to a connecting full ocean-view suite, and it was absolutely worth it! The room was incredibly comfortable, and both the elderly and children had a great time. I suggest visiting the nearby lighthouse twice: once during the day and once in the evening, as the ambiance is completely different. At night, the beach is covered with a sky full of stars. Additionally, the hotel service is excellent. There are many shuttle buses, and they are incredibly fast; before I even got downstairs, the car was already waiting at the entrance. The front desk staff and my butler, Chery, were also wonderful and made me feel right at home. Check-in at the front desk was very quick, probably because I arrived quite early at 1 PM."

"My bestie and I, both international students, took a spontaneous road trip to Wanning and stumbled upon a hidden gem: Wutong Jiuli, a luxury boutique hotel that just opened in 2026. It perfectly recreates the cream-colored cave architecture of Spain's Andalusia, and the award-winning design instantly captivated us. The entire property is brand new, with high-end, full-suite furnishings that frankly put all other B&Bs in the area to shame. Even properties like Le Méridien and Westin lack this unique sense of privacy and relaxation. What truly impressed us was the individual villa layout. Each unit has its own private courtyard, a separate plunge pool, and an exclusive swimming pool, complemented by a stargazing rooftop terrace. This meant we never had to jostle for space in crowded public areas. The resort grounds feature an art-filled walkway connecting to a secluded coconut grove, offering a serene environment free from noisy crowds. The well-equipped private Pilates studio was another highlight, perfect for stretching in the morning or simply lounging by the pool during the day, allowing us to fully embrace a schedule-free staycation. The low-saturation, cave-like arched architecture creates an immediate European manor vibe, offering a deeply healing and secluded escape. It's ideal for a getaway with friends or a romantic honeymoon. It's definitely on my list for a second visit! For anyone seeking a discreet, high-quality vacation, this place is a must-go."

"Being a new Sanya resident, I wanted to drive to Wanning for some leisure time this weekend. Seeing good reviews online, I decided to stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, I was absolutely delighted and completely satisfied. First, the hotel is beautiful, with a stylish design and a relaxing atmosphere. There's a pool right outside, which is a real pleasure to enjoy in the cool evenings, especially with children. I saw a few of them having a blast this afternoon. The front desk also offers free drinks and coffee, which is a great way to relax and read after a day of playing. ✌ Second, the hotel is very clean, which is truly important. The staff at the front desk are very nice and helpful with any questions. The hotel is also in a great location, very quiet. There's a supermarket, a restaurant, and a fruit stand nearby, making it very convenient for ordering takeout. There's parking right outside, making it easy to park. It's a few minutes' drive to Shenzhou Peninsula, making it convenient for dining and sightseeing. For those without a car, there's an electric scooter right outside the hotel. This is a true review. It's really hard to find a good hotel these days, so I've written so much to reassure those considering a trip."

"Even before we arrived, our butler CoCo had already added me on WeChat. She provided directions and was incredibly responsive on WeChat throughout our stay, day and night, addressing all our check-in needs. I absolutely love the Sheraton's lobby; as soon as you step in, you're greeted with a stunning view of the beach. The sunset from the Sunset Bar was breathtaking. We also enjoyed the water activities. The outdoor splash pool, live performances, and the occasional Peking Opera mask performers we'd bump into in the lobby were all fantastic. For lunch and dinner, Yue Chinese Restaurant was our top choice. Our entire stay was very pleasant. The beach was super clean and beautiful. The travel photography was also great. Highly recommend!"

"The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the room looks exactly like the pictures. As someone particular about pillows, I slept incredibly well. They thoughtfully provided two types of pillows, allowing me to choose the one that suited me best. The breakfast was also quite good. If you're looking to visit the bar street, this is the place to stay—it's only a 6-minute walk away, so convenient! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit. ❤️"
