"It's right across from the train station, making it incredibly convenient! The location is absolutely fantastic. The room itself is quite spacious, and the bathroom is also very roomy. They even have a charmingly retro, old-fashioned elevator. However, the amenities are very basic; you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, tissues, and slippers. It's perfectly fine for a short stay, like a couple of nights, if you're just passing through. The staff service is pretty good. I frequently asked them for water refills, which saved me a fair bit on buying bottled water, haha."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. The surroundings were quiet. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Stazione di Genova Brignole, but it was a bit inconvenient to walk up a flight of stairs with your suitcase from the main road. Restaurants, supermarkets, and markets are all within walking distance."

"The NH Hotel was amazing. Very clean, everything seems to be new. Hotel is also close to city center. Service was excellent. It was my weekend birthday trip and I got surprise in my room - sparkling wine and snacks. I recommend this hotel!"

The entire experience was flawless, and I will undoubtedly choose this hotel again on my next trip to Genoa!"

"Arrived with my handicap husband to the hotel. The door man just looks at me taking all off from the car. I bring the cart to take the luggGe and bring it inside - still he looks at me - no help what so ever even when the reception saw me -  still no help  The room in a very low maintenance- sticky floor and poor bath  The parking at the hotel cost 20 euros per day  We’ve just wanted to leave as soon … so from me not recommendation - mostly because of their attitude !"

"Not recommended. I stayed in a room on the second floor. The next day, I found a lot of ants on the floor. I reported it to the hotel and they said they would deal with it. When I went back at night, I found more ants on the windowsill... Although I was given a new room, the room was smaller... And the mattress was uncomfortable and had a pit. I was sore all over after sleeping for two nights."

"All perfect in the hotel. Large room with giant bathroom and unfair cleaning, friendly staff and available. Excellent sweet breakfast. Perfect location if you want to visit the aquarium and the historic center. The only note is that the conventional parking has a whole plan dedicated to electric cars but the columns did not work. Fortunately, just below the hotel there is one!"

"Hotel in a classic style. A nice bonus to the room in the form of a free visit to the spa. Conveniently located near the railway station. The bed and bedding are class. There is a Russian-speaking manager. The cuisine in the restaurant is at a good level"

"The appearance of the hotel was very good. The reception area was very clean and quiet. Each floor had an automatic air freshener which meant that the hotel smelt very good. The hotel room had a lovely big bed which was very comfortable. There was a fridge and kettle in the room. The hotel was a twenty minute bus ride from the center of Genoa and once we had downloaded the app it was very easy to buy tickets. The number 1 bus is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and the bus is every 11 minutes. We discovered a lovely area to eat on the day we left. Leave the hotel and turn right. At the traffic lights turn right . After about three minutes you will find a shopping area with restaurants. We were short of time so went to Tumbler. The staff were very friendly and we had lovely panini. On the negative side, we were woken at 6am with a male shouting very loudly in his room. Later that day, the man was shouting again. I went outside our room and the man was shouting very loudly at a lady in his room. There was a very clear domestic abuse situation with the man hitting the woman which I tried to stop and also contacted reception. Reception asked the lady if there was any problem and she said no so the receptionist left. I said to the receptionist that the man was being violent towards the woman and she said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could put security on the floor in case anything further happened and she said no. I felt the receptionist could have done a lot more in this situation. I imagine that these situations do occur from time to time so the hotel should give staff guidance on the steps to take to safeguard clients. I felt that the staff at the hotel were not very welcoming. I saw at least four receptionist and not one of them smiled or looked happy to be working. Any time I approached them for information they gave the information but without smiling and were very unenthusiastic.. I would stay at the hotel again as it is convenient for the airport and quieter than staying in the centre. It is also very clean and I got a good night's sleep. Be aware, we booked a taxi from the airport which is 1.1 km away and we're charged 18,50 euros."

"The gentleman at the front desk had to move me three times to get a room with a working air conditioner during the June heat wave across Europe. This meant managing three luggage on my own. Then, a plumber had to called to fix the non-working toilet. Finally, the dinner (Caesar’s Salad) at the restaurant was sadly unlike ANY such salad I’ve eaten in my 71 years.YUCK! The large window was broken and wouldn’t close all the way, the main door’s chain lock was broken, as well, there wasn’t any food menu or tv instructions in the room, and no toiletries other than shampoo. The positives? Well, the room was very clean, the staff were all pleasant and the wake up call actually worked! Certainly a no frills hotel but very convenient to the airport."
