Find 4-Star Hotels in Genoa

"This hotel was supposed to be a 4-star, but when I got there, they said they upgraded me to their 5-star place because of some change in plans. So, what I'm writing about is the 5-star hotel, and I'm totally grateful for the upgrade! The hotel, even though it was old, was super clean and had awesome services like massages and personal stuff. My room was pretty big, the bed was clean and comfy, and breakfast was amazing. The only issue was they said there was private parking, but they just parked my car in the lot next door and charged me 30 euros for one night until morning. The parking fee wasn't mentioned anywhere."

"My stay at Hotel Bristol Palace was truly delightful. The hotel is exceptionally elegant, with stunning classic decoration that gives it a timeless charm. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed and beautifully maintained. The staff were highly professional—polite, attentive, and genuinely insightful in offering recommendations and local information, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable throughout the stay. The buffet breakfast was another highlight, offering a great variety and quality to start the day right. A refined and comfortable stay—I would absolutely return."

"The appearance of the hotel was very good. The reception area was very clean and quiet. Each floor had an automatic air freshener which meant that the hotel smelt very good. The hotel room had a lovely big bed which was very comfortable. There was a fridge and kettle in the room. The hotel was a twenty minute bus ride from the center of Genoa and once we had downloaded the app it was very easy to buy tickets. The number 1 bus is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and the bus is every 11 minutes. We discovered a lovely area to eat on the day we left. Leave the hotel and turn right. At the traffic lights turn right . After about three minutes you will find a shopping area with restaurants. We were short of time so went to Tumbler. The staff were very friendly and we had lovely panini. On the negative side, we were woken at 6am with a male shouting very loudly in his room. Later that day, the man was shouting again. I went outside our room and the man was shouting very loudly at a lady in his room. There was a very clear domestic abuse situation with the man hitting the woman which I tried to stop and also contacted reception. Reception asked the lady if there was any problem and she said no so the receptionist left. I said to the receptionist that the man was being violent towards the woman and she said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could put security on the floor in case anything further happened and she said no. I felt the receptionist could have done a lot more in this situation. I imagine that these situations do occur from time to time so the hotel should give staff guidance on the steps to take to safeguard clients. I felt that the staff at the hotel were not very welcoming. I saw at least four receptionist and not one of them smiled or looked happy to be working. Any time I approached them for information they gave the information but without smiling and were very unenthusiastic.. I would stay at the hotel again as it is convenient for the airport and quieter than staying in the centre. It is also very clean and I got a good night's sleep. Be aware, we booked a taxi from the airport which is 1.1 km away and we're charged 18,50 euros."

"Everything about the hotel was perfect. Spacious room with a huge bathroom and impeccable cleanliness. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent sweet breakfast. Perfect location if you want to visit the aquarium and the historic center. The only downside is that the parking lot has an entire floor dedicated to electric cars, but the charging stations weren't working. Luckily, there's one right under the hotel!"

"The old five-star room facilities are quietly old, but still very clean and tidy. Breakfast is OK. The pre-authorization at the front desk is not very used to Chinese tourists. It is obvious that Trip.com has been paid in full. When it comes to the pre-authorization of the same amount, I don't know what the intention is. However, the credit card bill the next month after leaving the store was not included, but the heart was always thinking, a bit annoying. Genoa is still a city with a unique style, and the St. George Cross flag makes people have the illusion of being in England, which is very fun."

"NH Marina is the best if you are looking for the experiences ”Harborview” I stayed one night and my room comes with balcone with harborview and city view . Location : its located only few steps from Darsena Metro and a lot of historical locations around this place . So if you are a solo traveler and its your first time to reach Genoa , this is a good option for you . Note : make sure you book the room with balcony"

"Excellent hotel with very friendly reception and very clean rooms. It was cold when we arrived but inside the hotel the temperature was ideal, the room was so pleasant that we didn't even need to turn on the heating but I believe that those who are cold would be very warm. We really liked it and would definitely stay there again 👍"

"When we arrived, the room was already very warm. It was about 30°C outside, even at 9:00 PM, and unfortunately the air conditioning was not working. I couldn’t get it to start, so the room remained very hot during the night. The room furnishings also felt quite old-fashioned. Apart from that, the receptionist was very kind and helpful."
