Find 4-Star Hotels in Genoa

"This hotel was supposed to be a 4-star, but when I got there, they said they upgraded me to their 5-star place because of some change in plans. So, what I'm writing about is the 5-star hotel, and I'm totally grateful for the upgrade! The hotel, even though it was old, was super clean and had awesome services like massages and personal stuff. My room was pretty big, the bed was clean and comfy, and breakfast was amazing. The only issue was they said there was private parking, but they just parked my car in the lot next door and charged me 30 euros for one night until morning. The parking fee wasn't mentioned anywhere."

"Clean. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Great location. The air conditioning doesn't work, so I have to open the window. The noise, shouting, and cars are very loud all day and night. Turn on the air conditioning and everything will be perfect!"

"A little difficult to find even with GPS, though this is due to an overhead pista confusing the GPS. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating when we requested a quieter room. At every juncture the front desk was extremely professional. The breakfast exceeded expectations with an incredible assortment. The room had good city and harbor views and is quite secure. I would not hesitate to stay there again."

"This is the best hotel I had ever stayed in Europe. It is an old historical building and all interiors had been renovated. The best part is they had kept a historical lift and overall interiors was beautifully arranged. Location is 5-stars because this hotel is only 6 minutes walk to train station and 10 minutes to central area. Amenities is also 5-stars because this hotel offers a FULL minibar of drinks including two bottles of water, two pop drinks, one bottle of juice and peanuts and they are all free of charge. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, soap and shower cap are fully provided. Cleanliness is also 5-stars. We had messed up the room with two big full luggages of things and the housekeroinh had helped us to tuck in our two luggages under the window sill Seevuxe is also 5-stars. We bought two bottles of wines and they provided us with wine glasses and cork with great service. Also it was our first time in Genova, the receptionist had detailedly explained which area we should go and how to go. Overall, it is the best hotel i had stayed so far."

"The appearance of the hotel was very good. The reception area was very clean and quiet. Each floor had an automatic air freshener which meant that the hotel smelt very good. The hotel room had a lovely big bed which was very comfortable. There was a fridge and kettle in the room. The hotel was a twenty minute bus ride from the center of Genoa and once we had downloaded the app it was very easy to buy tickets. The number 1 bus is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and the bus is every 11 minutes. We discovered a lovely area to eat on the day we left. Leave the hotel and turn right. At the traffic lights turn right . After about three minutes you will find a shopping area with restaurants. We were short of time so went to Tumbler. The staff were very friendly and we had lovely panini. On the negative side, we were woken at 6am with a male shouting very loudly in his room. Later that day, the man was shouting again. I went outside our room and the man was shouting very loudly at a lady in his room. There was a very clear domestic abuse situation with the man hitting the woman which I tried to stop and also contacted reception. Reception asked the lady if there was any problem and she said no so the receptionist left. I said to the receptionist that the man was being violent towards the woman and she said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could put security on the floor in case anything further happened and she said no. I felt the receptionist could have done a lot more in this situation. I imagine that these situations do occur from time to time so the hotel should give staff guidance on the steps to take to safeguard clients. I felt that the staff at the hotel were not very welcoming. I saw at least four receptionist and not one of them smiled or looked happy to be working. Any time I approached them for information they gave the information but without smiling and were very unenthusiastic.. I would stay at the hotel again as it is convenient for the airport and quieter than staying in the centre. It is also very clean and I got a good night's sleep. Be aware, we booked a taxi from the airport which is 1.1 km away and we're charged 18,50 euros."

"The worst Novotel I've ever stayed in, bar none. The space was acceptable and the service was enthusiastic, but the stains on the towels and sheets seemed to have never been changed. Since I was driving from southern Italy to southern France as a stopover, the location was very convenient for me, close to the highway exit."

"The hotel is close to the train station, just a 5-minute walk away. The room is clean and the key is very unique. The only drawback is that the hotel decoration is relatively old, like the decoration of the last century. If you take the train from Milan to Nice, it is recommended to stay in this hotel for one night."

"This was our second stay in Genoa; our first stay was at NH Marina. The hotel's location is very central and secure. We were lucky with parking and parked in the blue-striped section of the street directly opposite the entrance. We didn't trust leaving our keys in a nearby car park with the windows open. The breakfast and hotel staff deserve the best reviews. Cleanliness was good except for some dust in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and I find the price-performance ratio to be high. Thank you."
