Making a little side step from Amanohashidate to Venice of Japan, "Ine no Funaya", for your stay.
"The room I booked was a mountain-view room. I initially thought it was just a window with a mountain view, and the room itself looked exactly like the photos online. However, upon arrival, I realized it was a misconception.
(Attached are photos of the mountain-view house for reference.)
The bathroom in the room has onsen (hot spring) facilities, but there's an extra charge of 300 yen. Although the cost isn't high, being informed of the extra charge upon arrival felt a bit sudden; be aware of this when booking.
Overall, the house was very clean. However, because it's located on a mountainside, I found a small cockroach on the tatami mat during dinner. Travelers who are afraid of insects should be aware.
Upon entering the house on the first floor, you'll see a beautiful entryway with a small water feature. The bedroom on the second floor is very comfortable; you can fall asleep quickly. If you want a sea view, I recommend visiting the owner's cafe."
