"The breakfast offered a wide variety of good quality options, and even on weekdays, the hotel had a high occupancy rate. The staff were very friendly; I was particularly touched when the gentleman responsible for cleaning in the morning bowed to me in a traditional Japanese greeting. We booked sea view rooms through Trip.com, and my friend and I each made separate bookings. It turned out the room types were slightly different, with one being much closer to the sea, which led to a bit of a disagreement with the front desk. Luckily, we speak Japanese, and the hotel eventually made a compromise, for which I'm grateful! I hope Trip.com can be more accurate when describing room types during the booking process to avoid such unnecessary hassle. The hotel is right by the sea, and the water is clear, but it's a shame there's no sandy beach, which was a bit disappointing. The rooms are also on the smaller side."

Located within walking distance of the Ishigaki Port Ferry Terminal, it offers the perfect balance of convenience and serene seclusion.
"The building is still new and very clean; it was spotless. The wooden furniture in the interior was lovely and gave it a calming feel. In room 307, where I stayed, the bed's position seemed to have been changed, as the bedside table, which should have been next to the bed, was out of reach. This meant it was useless as a bedside lamp, and I had to get up and walk around to charge my devices and turn on the room lights, which was inconvenient.
The breakfast service (food truck) had closed, and it was inconvenient having to go to a FamilyMart a little further away (about 10 minutes?).
However, it seems a FamilyMart will be opening around the end of May, about 20 meters away, so this inconvenience will be largely resolved.
The lack of permanent staff means that luggage cannot be stored upon arrival or departure, which is quite inconvenient."

"It's a little far from the city center and the bus terminal, so if you have a lot of luggage and want to go out to eat, it's a bit of a walk. It takes about 20 minutes. There are restaurants nearby, but they're limited in number. The room was reasonably spacious and clean, so there were no problems. Smoking was allowed in the room, so the smell permeated the futon and other items, which was disappointing. Other than that, breakfast was included, and there was unlimited coffee and other drinks in the lobby at any time, which was nice. The front desk staff were also very helpful."

"The hotel is in good location and very accessible to city area. The staffs are friendly and it is to great pleasure with the tour centre inside inside the hotel which you can easily book a lot of outdoor activities without worrying all the transportation arrangements.

"There are 3 different buildings in this hotel, please make sure you choose the ”Misaki Wing”, as it is the newest building and it will face the ocean terminal side. The room is actually not that roomy, however, it is reasonably clean. Floor space is lacking for 2 adults with barely enough room to open two suitcase. However, I would recommend this hotel considering its prime location to the terminal and nearby restaurants. One thing to note is that, if you arrive at the hotel early before the check-in time, the hotel staff would not let you check-in early. Therefore, in the lobby, you will see many people waiting for the official time to check-in, and when the time comes, many people will line-up get checked-in. This is rather a chaotic situation and can be easily solved if the hotel can simply allow guest to check-in earlier. I was there 30 mins early and was told I cannot check-in and need to wait. But it was not a busy season and there are so many rooms in this hotel."

"This hotel is no doubt the best resort in Ishigaki Island. It has a big resort style with exclusive feel. There are a few buildings so make sure you pick the right one for your needs. I chose the newest building facing the ocean. It was very new and clean. The room has nice ocean view and can also see the pool underneath. The balcony is also good as it allows you to hang clothes to dry. However, I also tried the Teppanyaki dinner and it was just very average. The air conditioning was not enough at that restaurant and the food was very average quality and taste but it was very expensive. The chef barely had any interaction with the customer, including the Japanese customers, and it was really just very average. I would recommend dinner at somewhere else. But the hotel itself was overall nice and highly recommended."

GGuest UserMesmerizing hotel! As soon as we stepped inside, we immediately felt so relaxed. Everything in this hotel contributes to giving it a very peaceful and quiet atmosphere, from the super friendly and accommodating staff to the slow-paced breakfast and the sea view from the bedroom.
This is a new hotel and the equipment is very modern and elegant (bathroom, toilet, walls) and the bedding is extremely comfortable, including super pajamas!
The breakfast is served at 7:30am or 8:30am with Japanese and Western options available. They also offer dinner options with a few hours' notice.
There is a bus stop nearby but it's definitely better to have a car as it seemed difficult to walk around and find beaches/restaurants, though that also makes the place very quiet and relaxing.
Excellent value for money, we browsed a lot of options and this might be the best one if you do not want to go for a resort-style hotel.

GGuest UserVery clean and well organised. The guest house is kept spotless and has all that you may need. From the rooms which are very well organised and each person has his unique space kind of like a small room to himself, to the temperature of the aircon, which too often is kept very low, whereas here it is kept cool but not freezing. The service is very good, there is always someone in reception from 7AM to 11PM and they are always ready to help. Toilets are super clean and well kept, and you are given 2 towels daily for you to use. Also, if you stay more than 5 nights, you get a new set of bedsheets to use (you have to change them on your own).
The kitchen is very well equipped and if you want to cook, they have all the necessary tools. Also, the common room is very well displayed, it is cosy and a nice space to socialize. An additional room to hang to dry wet clothes is outside of the back entry and can be very handy after a day at the seaside.
Overall, one of the best guesthouses I have been in during my trip in Japan.

GGuest UserI went on a trip to Ishigaki with my friends and their partners! Since we all love drinking, I really loved that we could have sake on the first floor, but... we couldn't drink much because we ended up going out to eat.
When I asked, they told me we could bring our own snacks and eat them on the first floor! That was the best! Also,
The location was so, so good that we met up nearby whenever we went on a tour, so it was within walking distance.
It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the stingray tour, and the port is only 4 minutes away for the night tour... just the best.
There is a public market right in front, and there are so many great restaurants and bars, so we went around trying different places and had a really great trip!
We rented a hybrid car, and since we only went to Kukule, the nearby Don Quijote, and the Monkey Village Observatory, we didn't even spend money on gas; the tank didn't drop at all!
Since we stayed for two nights and didn't ask for extra towels, they gave us salt and merchandise only for our room! Hahaha. Actually, I stole some towels from my friends' couple, hehe. Anyway, I recommend it!

GGuest UserFuku-chan, Nicole and ２ cats, algae balls and boiled beans were gently welcomed, and the number of days of stay passed in no time. It is a very satisfying inn and recommended to everyone.
The interior and exterior are very nice. I feel like 〜 I came to the resort. I used the parking lot for renting a car.
The living room is clean and comfortable. The bed futon was very fluffy and I could sleep well.
The area is very convenient location if you have a car rental. It is very close to Fusaki Beach and you can walk to the beach (passing the main building of Fusaki Beach Resort, especially no procedures).
I had breakfast. The dishes that are particular about each ingredient and seasoning will heal your mind and body.
We have never experienced it, but we can receive healing treatments and Yoga.
It is an inn that I want to visit again.

CChikaInamiFacilities: Relatively new. Given that Ishigaki Island has an average annual humidity of nearly 80%, the air conditioning in public areas is kept on 24/7. It's also recommended to keep the AC on in your room and avoid opening windows, as there are quite a few mosquitoes and bugs.
Cleanliness: Very clean, the level of cleanliness you'd expect from a business hotel. Nothing to complain about.
Environment: Located next to the ANA InterContinental and very close to Maesato Beach. From the first-floor breakfast area and your room, you can enjoy the meticulously maintained lawns and trees of the neighboring InterContinental. Higher-floor rooms even offer sea views, which is lovely. There's plenty of parking available; you just park directly in front, then inform the front desk of your license plate number when checking in.

GGuest UserIt's a really nice place and comes fully equipped, including a washer with detergent and a spacious balcony for air drying clothes. The toiletries and amenities are also great, and even the toilet paper is good quality, not thin or flimsy.
You can occasionally hear sounds from the corridor, but they are brief and not very disruptive. There is no street noise, very quiet. However, if you book a second floor room, you will need to carry your luggage up the stairs.
Free parking is available. The location is a short walk to the town area and public market, and about a seven minute walk to the bus stop.
Before check in, you need to call the property to get the door code, as there are usually no staff on site, you could do it via app so it is fre. This may be inconvenient for some guests. I recommend calling in advance, as they do not always pick up immediately.

GGuest UserThe fire alarm went off for over 30 minutes in the early morning. Hotel staff didn't come out until about 10 minutes later and offered no official explanation. They only spoke in Japanese to the people who had evacuated outside, and then simply said ”no fire” in English. The next day, there was still no announcement, and the staff's handling of the situation was very disappointing. The pool had a lot of leaves and debris floating in it, and cleaning only happened much later. There were no staff members at the pool, so I couldn't ask for towels or request a cleaning. The service really fell short compared to the facilities.

LLind THotel is located slightly off the busy area which I like cos it’s quiet. Very near to Family Mart and supermarket Overall stay was pleasant with the room rate.
Note:
- Located slightly away from the busy buzz yet near to 24hr Family Mart and MaxValue.
- If you need constant attention and with room cleaning, bed making service daily, this will not suit you.
- Hotel staff only work on certain hours and do not speak much English. Super helpful when I asked for help eg:calling a taxi.
- Fresh towels are provided daily and they placed on the door handle.
- Room is spacious with big sea facing windows.
- Will be great if there are more hooks on the spacious walls or toilet.
- Enjoyed also the public bath esp after a day out of walking!
- Free breakfast was sufficient.
