Hotels with Parking in Nikko

"Nikk Ststion Hotel Classic is conveniently located a  3 minute walk from Tobu Nikko station and a 2 minute walk from Nikko station. A the name suggests this is a classic hotel so stays here should not come with expectations of grandeur. The hotel is cosy, nonetheless, the service staff polite and helpful and the facilities such as the onsen a the restaurant of good quality. Was please with the outdoor onsen as that allowed fkr a longer soak and a different experience to soaking indoors.  The breakfast was good and unnoticed rhe restaurant lunch and inner menu was very enticing, though we didn’t get to try it out. Saw them plating the food though and it looked very good.  I noticed the hotel has placeholders for a number of rules, perhaps due to past guest behaviour or perhaps otherwise. I did find the many “no” signs a throwback to how it is where I live and subtly a little disquieting  Overall though, we were happy with our one day stay and will be sure to come back to stay here when we next visit Nikko.  Aside: do your homework before visiting Nikko as reservations are needed when visiting sites of interest and knowledge of bus schedules will be very helpful especially if you visit during the peak season where there are many local visitors too due to the religious element."

"Enjoyable stay at yutorelo nikko, which was conveniently located near lake chuzenji. Room was big and had a nice view of the lake. Hotel onsen was very legit and nice especially when the night was cold. There is free sake and alcohol in the lounge. Breakfast was a delicious set meal with drinks available. Hotel is walkable distance to kegon falls. Would recommend :)"

"Really really great place. Don't be fooled by the lack of photos. The place is nice and homely. They have private onsen as well. And the HOST is WONDERFUL. He is so nice and so friendly. He made us feel so welcome even though we were only staying a day. Loved this stay"

"Standard exterior and interior design of Fairfield Hotels in all around Japan, that is guest friendly and more sustainable, no gym, restaurant and bar but you can cook frozen food by microwave. Room is not big but good enough for sleeping and rest. Their idea is offering rest place for people likes hiking and natural trails."

"This was a spontaneous trip! I was on a business trip in Tokyo and had a weekend off. A friend recommended Nikko, and Xiaomoushu recommended the Nikko Sanctuary Garden Hotel. I booked a hotel for the next night, bought my train tickets, and headed out to Nikko early in the morning! Travel is full of challenges and surprises. Putting that aside, this hotel was truly satisfying! From Tobu Nikko Station, it's about a ten-minute taxi ride for 1,600 yen (about 80 yuan). You can also arrange a hotel pick-up a day in advance. We arrived at the hotel at 11:30 pm, so check-in wasn't until 3 pm. No problem, I just dropped my suitcase off and had the taxi driver, who hadn't left yet, take me to the World Heritage Toshogu Shrine. After a four-hour trek, I returned to the hotel, had a welcome drink, and went upstairs to rest. I was stunned by the beauty of the room (see pictures for details!) Thanks to my Ctrip friends for their highly recommended breakfast and dinner. It turned out to be worth the extra 300 yuan for two breakfasts and two dinners. It was like eating at a Michelin restaurant for free. I was so moved that I cried! Even though I was traveling alone. But even if I only had dinner for 300 RMB, it was absolutely worth it! The hotel designer was there that day, and we had a great time chatting. He's a classic music lover and a romantic at heart. He even designed a butterfly made of leaves 🍂🍃 for the menu cover and hand-painted the text on the plates. What a talent! The geta clogs for sale in the hotel lobby are also beautiful. They're said to be made by a renowned artisan. I bought a pair. I won't necessarily wear them, but I'll keep them as a work of art! 😊 Breakfast was early. Since check-out was at 10:00, I chose the latest available at 8:30 AM. I managed to get up, and then I was surprised by the breakfast, my friends. Make sure to order both breakfast and dinner. For that price, you'd only get a steak dinner! 😂 After checking out, I took the shuttle bus to Tobu Station. After checking in to store my large luggage, I took the express bus to Chuzenji to see the waterfalls and enjoy the lake. I think I'll have to stay two more days next time! This trip was perfect, Shelter Garden, see you next time!"

"Great location with alcohol vending machine at the entrance, coin locker at the front as well. Thankfully was available as there was only 4. Dislike how the lockers were placed outside and needed to be paid for to be used. *Likely the staffs are lazy to deal with luggage storage”. The rooms were small as expected, pillow and blanket were okay, mattress had a sink towards the middle and honestly wasn’t that comfortable. Room was quite dusty, just a single movement from your blanket would send all the dusts flying, if your nose is sensitive, beware. There’s no nose preventive measure, e.g. if someone opens their room door, it’s noticeably loud. Furthermore, since it’s a bunk bed design but in different room, if you’re unlucky and got the bottom bed, any movement from the top bed can be quite annoying. Honestly not a pleasant stay."

"This hotel is truly wonderful, definitely worth staying at least once. The snow views are absolutely beautiful. I'll definitely come back again, and the breakfast was delicious. It'll be my top choice for my next trip to Japan!"

"The environment is elegant, and I really liked the Western and Japanese style rooms. The spa was also very comfortable 😌... Breakfast is too early, 7:30 and 8:00 – I'm still half asleep! This is a vacation, not going to work. Can't the time be pushed back a bit? We booked dinner, but we arrived late at 7:50 PM, and dinner was gone. We had called them at 7:10 PM to let them know we were stuck in traffic, but the hotel said dinner was gone and wouldn't refund us 😏."

"My first time visit to Japan and I was after an authentic Japanese accommodation. I booked a Japanese Style room with futon beds which were very comfortable. The room was beautiful and very clean. My booking also included breakfast and dinner which were always outstanding, beautifully prepared and unique food items. They utilized farm to table dining and the women explained each item served. They provided and encouraged one to wear Kimonos’s /tabi socks / slippers during one’s stay at, “ Nikko Iwaiyado Juyan “. Which further contributed to the authentic Japanese vibe. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs were amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The hotel is nestled within mountains and the setting serene. Hotel is family owned and they take pride in caring for their guests."
