"The room was nice and spacious, and there's a street with bars and BBQ joints nearby. However, the hotel's entrance was incredibly hard to find; I had to circle around three or four times just to locate it after work. The front desk staff consistently wore black masks, making them seem as if they didn't want to be seen, which I found quite strange. Furthermore, the KTV (karaoke bar) just one street away employs 'princesses' (hostesses). Had I known this beforehand, I wouldn't have booked here. As a woman, I felt a bit unsafe walking on that street. I strongly advise female business travelers, especially those in China, to avoid booking accommodations on this street behind City Hall."

Amazing
KKs1977Stayed at Novotel Ambassador Suwon and loved the convenience. Rooms were clean, modern, and quiet with comfy beds. Staff were friendly and efficient at check-in. Great location near the station and shopping. Overall, excellent value in Suwon for family trips.
AAnonymous UserI always book this hotel for my business trips. The environment is nice, and it's close to my company. There's a Lotte Department Store nearby, which is convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, the breakfast spread is quite good, and the service is excellent.
SSparklee14The room was clean with basic amenities. Housekeeping however was almost nonexistent for our 10 day stay. Someone came once in a while to empty the trash bins but the sheets were never swapped out nor the floors ever cleaned. All communication was done via text messages. I called the number on the booking confirmation and got a text almost immediately asking me to text any questions.
My biggest problem I had however was the fact that episode does not have en elevator. I was put on the 4th floor and hauling up my huge check in luggage’s were no joke and hauling back down on check out day nearly broke my back.
All in all, episode stay is located in a quiet alley with a CU located just steps away for store runs.
If you need to take public transportation, the bus stop is close by. If you travel with a lot of baggage, pray that you get a room on the 1st floor.
GGuest UserI visited with my child! Overall, the accommodation was incredibly clean. The gym and breakfast were also free for one person, so we only paid for one extra. The room was very tidy, and best of all, each floor had a microwave and various other amenities, which was very convenient. Its proximity to Suwon Station is also a huge plus.
However, it was a bit disappointing that we could occasionally hear singing from a karaoke place nearby at night. Those who are sensitive to noise should keep this in mind.
AAnonymous UserWonderful hotel. The location is very convenient — right by the metro, making it easy to get to the university. Housekeeping was done daily upon request, and the bed linen was changed with each cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised by the Russian-speaking staff, which was completely unexpected in South Korea. The receptionist only spoke Korean, but with the help of a translator, we always quickly resolved our issues. Thank you very much.
GGuest UserI got a great deal on my stay. The room was spotless, and the towels were fresh, making for a pleasant experience. While amenities like shampoo were available for 1,000 won, I didn't use them as I had brought my own. Complimentary water and canned drinks were also provided.
GGuest UserI stayed in a special room, but the facilities such as TV and computer were bigger than I thought, and the convenience store, the bank and the bus stop were close to the bus stop.
The elevator was a bit narrow, so I thought I would have to share it if I had a lot of luggage and people.
The room was in good condition and clean. The group who was sensitive to cleanliness said that hair was sparse between the quilt and the cover, but it was enough to blow it out.
I think I will book next time if I have something to see near Suwon
SSolo AceI have been coming to this hotel for a little over a year, and I never had any problems until they started making changes. I understand charging for basic amenities, but can you at least put a bar of soap in the bathroom for handwashing. I also didn't have the nice LG clothes closet that refreshes your clothes. I wasn’t able to freshen my jacket, and the mattress is also harder. They did install a bigger TV and added better TV remote directions in English with a channel listing. But what did it for me was during the checkout. In the past, when I had a lot of bags to carry to the KTX or Bus Terminal, they always were helpful in calling me a taxi. I asked like I normally do, and not only was I denied, but I was also waved off as if he couldn't be bothered. I tried to tell him that I was going to the KTX, but he kept saying airport taxi across the street. Due to frustration and time constraints, I left. I didn't want to miss my train. I will definitely patron another hotel after this. Disappointed.
CClaire love travelThe hotel has a good location — it’s within walking distance to a mini market, shopping mall, restaurants, and cafés. The male receptionist was very friendly and polite. However, the lady at reception was not friendly !We were only provided one bath towel, and when we requested another from her, she refused. I don’t understand why she declined to provide an extra towel.
