"Hotel is quite good for the price. Rooms are showing a bit of wear and tear. At the time we stayed, it wasnt very busy so the breakfast buffet had a slow turnover and there was not any new fresh food taken out, a lot of it was sitting there all morning. They also didn't turn the air con on for the breakfast which made it a little uncomfortable. Other than that, it was good value."

"Nice hotel renovated with traditional features evoking a French past. Could have had more srle toon for breakfast, we arrived gor breakfast with 30 minutes before the restaurant closed and there was almost no fruit and no cold cuts and cheese so an improvement there would be an advantage"

"The experience of staying here a month ago was very good, so this time I still prioritized choosing to stay here. Unfortunately, out of the 4-day accommodation, I encountered 2 days of unpleasant experiences. Actually, this hotel's hardware and renovation facilities are top-tier in Hai Phong, which is also the hotel's strength. However, I believe the hotel's core value lies in guests experiencing professional hospitality from service staff (including verbal respect and the ability to recognize whether someone is a guest). The hotel lobby service staff, as frontline personnel, need to work harder to improve. Otherwise, having guests' accommodation experience affected by service staff's inappropriate words and actions is truly counterproductive and wastes such excellent hardware. I hope the hotel can make improvements.

"The hotel location is good, right near all the restaurants and massage etc.
The room was clean, and presented nicely.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - a particular mention to Annie who was a great help with transport and scooter hire. The cleaning staff were also very pleasant.
Only thing I would say for potential improvement, would be some muslie for breakfast.
I was also very pleased with complimentary daily laundry (1kg limit and small fee for extra).

"I am currently looking for a new hotel that is stylish and well-designed. I have two beloved dogs and am hoping to find a place where we can stay together. My dogs are treated for flea prevention and have received vaccinations, and I can provide documentation if necessary.
Wink Hotel requires a reasonable fee for each dog to stay, but if they are going to charge that amount, I believe it would be better to require documentation confirming that the dogs have received rabies shots, vaccinations, and flea treatments from a vet. Specifically, I would like to see proof that the rabies and vaccinations were given within the last year and that flea prevention was administered within the last month.
This would ensure that both regular guests and dog owners like myself can stay without worrying about the risk of exposure to poorly cared-for dogs. It would create a safer environment for everyone."

We stayed at the Moon Boutique Hotel for one night while visiting Cat Ba island. The hotel is very well located on the town's main street and all sights on the island are easily accessible from this point.
The room was large, stylishly decorated and had a very comfortable bed.
Our favorite part of the hotel however was the staff! They went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and have a nice time on the island! They provided us great information about activities, prepared excellent welcome drinks and breakfast and always had a smile on their face. It was also very nice to see how well they worked as a team! Definitely the best hotel on Cat Ba!

Gem, the owner, is super hospital, always with a smile. From the day of the reservation he contacted us to know the time of arrival and if we needed something (even offered transport that would pick us up in our previous hotel in Ha Long and would leave us at the door of Naples). It has everything prepared to make you organize the trip from its ”command center”: rental of motorcycles, washing service, different tours across the island and breakfast with different menus, all accompanied by drinks and fruit. Also travel to your next destination ... All at good price
The rooms are like in the photos, and the bed and towels are clean.
If we return to Cat Ba, we will return to Naples!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the View Point Anh Quan Hotel in Cat Ba, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, which provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the pier and close to Cat Co beach, making it convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the local attractions.
The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with stunning views from both my balcony and the rooftop cafe. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was truly a highlight of my trip. The staff at the hotel were exceptional; they were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They helped arrange transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba and even organized a fantastic day trip to Ha Long Bay for me.
Breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable with a variety of options available, including made-to-order eggs that were delicious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and homely, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend View Point Anh Quan Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Cat Ba!

SShardaleI needed a place to stay when the ferries closed due to a typhoon and this was a neat spot to find on short notice. The comment I am making is based on the amount of money being paid for Vietnamese standards so the room has everything you need and the bed is comfortable, however I felt the blanket was quite thin. The menu for food was only in Vietnamese. There are snacks and drinks in the room that are cheap, but I was hesitant on the bottled water when I had seen it was opened already and I wondered if it was just refilled instead of being a new bottle? The reception staff were very kind, helpful and lovely to speak with. The breakfast was small in variety and the English Breakfast I got was what I feel a way to save costs by giving ham instead of bacon? Again only due to the price being paid did I expect something of better quality in some regards. However I am grateful for a place to stay when I was stuck. There are restaurants nearby, a very good western bar with good food and lovely local vietnamese seafood spots. It is in walking distance to the beach.

BBec TryonThe hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong.
