Location is 5 minutes to Russian Market by tuk tuk. There is a market nearby, so it's enough to feel the local atmosphere, and some local restaurants and shops can speak English. Room condition is not bad, but there is no mosquito fragrance or slippers shampoo dryer. The owner, Michael, smile man. Hi~ Michael, This is Michael from Korea. I will visit again in November. A very cost-effective hotel, the room is clean and comfortable, the staff service is very good, there is a place called Olympic Stadium nearby, it is very good to do exercise there in the morning,

It's pretty far from the action, which does mean it's quiet, but you'll end up paying more for tuktuks

Only stopped for one night but room was basic and clean, only negative was the walls had loads of stains on them especially behind the bed so didn’t look very pleasant.

I recommend the hotel. Cool, stylish and cosy place. Very attentive and delicate staff, just pleased. Time spent in this hotel with great pleasure, having a swimming pool and roof top bar is a good addition.

We think that it is recommended hotel for business trip. Hotel facilities are substantial. The employees were always happy to serve with a smile and were very satisfied. The location is very convenient.

Empire House is a budget-friendly option in Phnom Penh, offering decent value for the price. While the location is average—about a short ride from the riverside tourist hub—it’s still accessible, though food choices nearby are limited compared to the riverside area. The hotel provides basic toiletries and free Wi-Fi. The reception area is quite cluttered, with motorcycles and various items taking up space, so don’t expect a typical lobby. If you're waiting for a tour service, it’s common to do so outside in front, usually seated on a simple stool. Overall, it’s a practical, no-frills stay for budget-conscious travelers.

We got a very nice room with separate beds. I give a low rating for convenience because the air conditioner was located opposite the bed and one of us asked because of it. But the service, the girls at the reception, the bathroom with a hot shower, the size of the room, the presence of an elevator and billiards in the lobby - everything deserves a good rating. Overall, I liked it.

I have been coming to Phnom Penh regularly for years and I have seen this hotel being built but I had never stayed there before, now I have. The hotel is well located near the O Russey market. It is of a very good standard and offers excellent value for money. The standard twin room that I occupied was large and very well equipped, excellent bedding and large bathroom and above all very quiet. The wardrobe area is equipped with a safe. The buffet breakfast is varied and plentiful in a beautiful room with a view. On the roof terrace there is a bar and a small swimming pool. In summary, I do not regret my choice and will not fail to stay there during my next visit to Phnom Penh.
