The home-like service experience is the biggest highlight. The staff is enthusiastic and professional. From check-in guidance to demand response, they are meticulous and efficient, especially the night duty staff who can solve problems in time. The room design focuses on the balance between practicality and beauty. The dry and wet separated bathroom, comfortable bedding and intelligent control system improve the living quality. Some room types are also equipped with landscape balconies or special decorations. The geographical advantage is obvious, close to the subway station or the entrance of the scenic spot, and the surrounding catering and shopping facilities are complete. In terms of catering, the breakfast variety covers popular Chinese and Western dishes, and freshly ground coffee and local snacks are particularly recommended.

Just moved here from the Renaissance. Unlike the Renaissance, where staff always greet guests, the service here is pretty minimal, apart from helping with luggage. But that's fine, it suits an introvert like me. The hotel is close to Shanghai South Railway Station, with Lines 1, 3, and 15 nearby. There's also Xuhui Vanke Plaza to explore. When I checked in, the front desk gave me a small gift and mentioned that the room I requested, away from the elevator, wasn't ready yet. They then quickly found me another room I could move into immediately. This shows the hotel pays attention to guest requests, which is a big plus. If you need anything, just call the front desk from your room and they'll help you out. Food deliveries can't go up to the rooms; they have to be left in the delivery lockers on the first floor, so you have to go down to pick them up yourself. But I think most five-star hotels have this policy. The bed and pillows here are very comfortable – not too soft, not too firm, just right for lying down or lounging. Overall, it's a standard five-star experience, nothing spectacular, nothing bad. No major issues.

To be honest, I think the hotel was renovated, not newly built, as the lobby is a bit smaller than other Atour hotels I've seen. However, the rooms themselves are quite new. The room service was pretty good, and so was breakfast. Even though my voucher was only for one person, they didn't really check how many breakfast coupons you had. It was quite a spread, and I found it really tasty.

Stayed here for a business trip. The room was decent, and it had a pleasant, sweet orange scent. There were four bottles of water (two in the mini-fridge), along with sugar and tea bags. The cleanliness was also good. The soundproofing at night was excellent, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The breakfast was satisfying. Overall, it met my expectations for a business trip hotel. My only gripe is the price, but considering it was a weekend in Shanghai, it's understandable.

Considering the price, it's one of the better options in the vicinity. Parking is available right outside (free, but subject to availability), or you can park at the Grand Skylight Hotel's lot, which is about 100 meters away. There's a convenience store and a beef noodle shop right downstairs. It's also quite close to the Shanghai Botanical Garden, perfect for a morning stroll during summer. Facilities: There's a microwave in the common area, which is very convenient. The mini-fridge in the room even has a small freezer compartment, not just a cooler. Service: The receptionist was very patient and friendly on the phone.

The facility and hygiene is good and acceptable. Willis from front desk works flexible and upgraded the room for a better experience. Location, minutes work from Metro and there is a mall and park nearby. Highly recommended for staying during non-peak seasons.

Among all the mid-range chain hotels I have stayed in, the restaurant of Atour is the best. It has hot and cold dishes, both meat and vegetables, and is clean and tidy. The hair dryer is the best I have ever used, with very strong wind. The disadvantage is that the price is a bit expensive, because of the superior location, but the hotel is 20 years old, the facilities are very old, there is no smart toilet, and the faucet in the wash basin is turned on and * is everywhere. The mattress and bedding are very comfortable, so overall it is a good review.

Environment: I was here for an event at the Expo Center, and it's about a 20-minute taxi ride from here. It's right by the West Bund Dream Center, with plenty of food, drinks, and sights nearby. I really liked it. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned daily, and the bed was made. It was very clean and comfortable. Service: The front desk staff, Ms. Peng Qinqin, was super nice. She spoke softly and was very considerate. To make my commute easier, she gave me a room close to the taxi stand. Facilities: There are many coffee shops and brunch options nearby. I didn't try the hotel breakfast. Tips: Because it's close to the Huangpu River, there might be ships passing by at night (though it's usually quiet by the time you're asleep). If you're a light sleeper, you might want to request a room not facing the river.

The hotel even provides slippers and toothbrushes for children. The gym equipment is all brand new, and the housekeeping staff are incredibly friendly. It's also very close to the West Bank, with plenty of dining options. The hotel's riverside location is very quiet, and you can even take a walk along the river in the evening. Taking a taxi to major attractions or commercial areas is very convenient. Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!
