"I booked this hotel because the reviews said it was the best, and the photos looked good. As soon as we arrived and the car stopped, the front desk and security staff immediately came to help with our luggage. The check-in process was very smooth. The room facilities were exactly as shown in the online photos, everything you need was there, and the overall space was quite large and comfortable. There's a supermarket and many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, which is very convenient. There's also a large grassland nearby where you can see many cattle and horses. The hotel breakfast had a good variety of vegetables, which was great for someone like me who loves to eat greens. Finally, I have to mention that the front desk and security staff provided excellent service. Every time we entered or left the hotel, the security guard would help pull back the curtain, and the front desk staff would politely greet us. When we checked out, both the front desk and security staff helped carry our luggage to the car. Top-notch service, definitely five stars!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to both the train station and the city's government district. If you're driving, there's ample parking space within the premises. The surrounding streets have a good variety of restaurants and supermarkets, so you don't have to go far for groceries or meals. Getting to and from the station is incredibly convenient for travel, saving a good amount on overall transportation costs. The rooms are cleaned meticulously; there wasn't a single stain on the floors or in the corners of the bathroom. The bedding was clean and soft, and the heating in the room was stable. Given the large day-night temperature difference in Arxan, it was wonderfully warm inside the room. The 24-hour hot water flowed smoothly, making it incredibly comfortable to wash up and rest after a long day of travel."

"The room design and layout are unique, and the service attitude is excellent! The breakfast is quite rich! The hotel entrance looks especially beautiful at night when it's lit up! It's very convenient to get everywhere; it's next to the Audit Bureau, which has several parking spaces, and you can even park inside the Audit Bureau's compound!"

"Coming to Arxan and choosing Chengyue Hotel was a great decision, no regrets at all! The hotel is easy to find, parking is convenient, and the rooms are clean and warm. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation and a smart mirror. There's a good variety of breakfast options, and a self-service laundry room which is very handy for washing clothes. The front desk staff patiently helped us plan our sightseeing route for the forest park; their service was thoughtful and attentive. The environment is quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it for your travels!"

"I am a young Englishman on a 20 day solo self-drive road trip across northern Heilongjian and Inner Mongolia. After my stay in Hulun Buir, I decided to drive down to Arxan for 2 nights exploring. I booked this stay based off of the other foreign guests' positive experience. I arrived in the town late in the evening. The boss was waiting for me and was attentive and welcoming from the start. The room is very spacious and comfortable, and the temperature was just right. Everything is provided and replaced when needed. After hiking in the national park, I came back to the boss and his extended family making CNY preparations. Then I was invited to drink Chinese tea (Dian Hong) at their tea table. I was then welcomed to eat with the family, drink beer and eat until I was full. I was welcomed not just as a guest of theirs, but as a family friend. In mid-winter, Aershan/Arxan is a quiet and cold place. I came as part of a long journey taking my rented 4x4 Tank 300 through the snow and ice on routes apart of the Hulun Buir Snow and Ice Festival. My journey was peaceful, solemn and isolated. The hospitality and warm welcome was exactly what I needed after my long drive alone and it is a memory I will take home to the UK with me. I highly recommend this guesthouse, especially if you are travelling solo across this wilderness. Thank you brother. I look forward to returning in the near future with my partner, and when my mandarin is better."

"The Birch Forest Hotel, even its name sounds like it has a story, and like its design, it reflects the owner's many thoughtful touches. The owner is friendly and refined, personally explaining the room's features and maintaining it meticulously. The room is exactly the size described in the link, but it's very practical. A 24-inch suitcase can be laid out without obstructing movement; the space is used very efficiently. The cleanliness is excellent, the bedding is comfortable, and even the lace trim on the disposable slippers seems specially selected. If you're unsure where to eat after settling in, feel free to try the owner's recommended restaurants—they are truly excellent! The location goes without saying; it's very close to popular attractions such as the train station and Holy Spring Square."

"The owner was incredibly warm and hospitable, reserving us the best room with a view, helping us carry our luggage up and down the stairs, and even buying us coffee when we left. The room was very warm, and the shower water was plentiful and hot; although it was an electric water heater, it was more than enough for a shower. The hotel had a beautiful view, was quiet, and had a small river in front of it where you could take a walk along the river. A few minutes' walk across the bridge led to Shengquan Square and the food street."

"Very comfortable hotel ~ large windows, sufficient heating, and a humidifier. Worth living. The restaurant downstairs is also delicious. On the right hand side of the hotel, turn right again and there is a noodle restaurant that is delicious (as shown in the picture, we ordered dishes ~ the supermarket is also convenient)"

"This is my first stay to write a review because this hotel is really good. The hardware conditions of the homestay are not very amazing. The room is not as big as expected, but the service is really attentive. The owner is very sincere and simple. Said that the room was cold and immediately sent electric heating, breakfast was sent to coffee, the restaurant music was very tasteful, the view of the terrace was also unique, especially when we checked out and couldn't get a taxi to the station, the owner personally drove it, and the trip to Aershan really left a good memory. Thanks again to the owner 🙏🏻"
