Service: The steps at the entrance were quite high, and the staff, seeing us with luggage, immediately came over to help carry it up. It was incredibly thoughtful. The room hygiene was meticulously maintained, with every corner spotless. Special mention goes to the older staff members at the front desk; they are steady, thorough, and their service is attentive and sincere. Room: The room was spacious and open, with plenty of power outlets, making it super convenient to charge phones and power banks at any time. Cleanliness: Excellent and thorough. I had read reviews mentioning only paper cups and was a bit hesitant, but upon arrival, I saw that in addition to regular reusable cups, they also provided paper cups! Facilities: Not brand new, but very comfortable. The only minor issue was some water accumulation in the bathroom after a long shower, but it was manageable. Overall, it offers great value for money. It's my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dalian! Outside the hotel, there are countless snack stalls, breakfast spots, and supermarkets, and the old-fashioned tram makes getting around incredibly convenient."

"Excellent stay! They offered a late check-out, which was super convenient. The hotel is really close to the subway station, tourist attractions like Russian Street, Dalian Venice Water Town, and Dalian Railway Station. Plus, there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Room-wise, it was much better than expected; the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The front desk service was great too. Overall, a very good experience."

"I've stayed here multiple times now, and the front desk lady always gives me a complimentary upgrade to a larger room, which makes for a very comfortable stay. She's so friendly and talkative, her service is top-notch, and it really feels like coming home. The room facilities and environment are great, with no unpleasant odors. "I saw reviews mentioning it was an older hotel before I went, so I was a bit worried about outdated facilities. However, after checking in, I found it to be quite good! While some furniture and wallpaper definitely show their age, I think it's acceptable. You can tell from the pictures that the hotel has a good aesthetic, and they've clearly put in time and effort to maintain it well. The front desk service during check-in was just right – very friendly but not overly enthusiastic. I got an upgraded room thanks to my Trip.com benefits, and they even reminded me that I could get discount coupons at the Japanese restaurant on the third floor. The hotel's swimming pool is very well-maintained! The water quality is excellent. Probably because the shallowest part is 1.7 meters deep, everyone there is actually serious about swimming! It's fantastic!!! Big thumbs up! The only slight disappointment was that there are quite a few foreign guests at the hotel. Despite clear signs in both Chinese and English, with large notices on the door to the hot spring area stating no electronic devices are allowed, I still encountered a foreigner doing exactly that. I immediately spoke up. From her reaction, it didn't seem like she was unaware. I hope the hotel can strengthen its management; these rules shouldn't only apply to obedient local guests, otherwise, it's really quite unsafe. Perhaps they could add an extra reminder during check-in and when getting keys for the changing room. They shouldn't avoid saying anything due to language barriers or fear of trouble (after all, every time I went to get the changing room key, I was reminded of the closing time)."

"The hotel's location is walking distance to the airport although the traffic path is not suitable for walking pedestrians and can be chiaos in the busy hours. The hotel sanitary is ok but the sound proof is nearly zero, you can hear at midnight there are people walking around and trying to open doors with alarm sounds for nearly 10 mins. Shower is almost cold and water is flooded in the shower after 5 mins, it's not the best choice if there are other places I can choose to fly at 6am in the morning."

"An excellent choice if taking a flight from nearby Dalian Airport and want a reliable, clean place to stay. Not only a budget friendly option but a hotel brand with chic style and amenities that cover all needs. We like the welcome tea on arrival, little play area for kids, late night complimentary porridge/buns, and a good breakfast. Robot room service is fun novelty and you get a free mini bar with soft drinks and crackers. The hotel brand is popular across China."

"My stay was pretty good this time. The front desk staff were very kind and check-in was super fast. The room was clean with no strange smells, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept like a baby. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, consistently warm without any temperature fluctuations. The location downstairs is very convenient for getting around, and there are lots of places to eat and shop nearby. The cleaning staff were also diligent. Excellent value for money!"

"Five stars, highly recommend Dalian Guoshi Hotel! The location is excellent, right in the heart of Zhongshan District. It's just a 3-minute walk to Gangwan Square Metro Station, with Metro Line 2 providing direct access to the train station and airport. It's also very close to Zhongshan Square and Donggang Venice Water City, making it super convenient whether you're taking a taxi or exploring on foot. Downstairs, you'll find a wide variety of restaurants and convenience stores, so dining and shopping are a breeze. They offer a great selection of room types, and the rooms themselves are clean and tidy. Each room comes with a separate wet and dry bathroom, soft bedding, and a high-definition projector TV. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. Compared to other hotels in the same area with similar amenities, the pricing is very reasonable. The facilities and quality are on par with much more expensive accommodations, offering incredible value for money. The front desk staff were efficient and attentive during check-in. Overall, the stay far exceeded my expectations. It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. This will be my top choice when I visit Dalian again, and I'll definitely be staying at Guoshi Hotel next time."
