"Participated in the Dalian Marathon. This was my second time visiting Dalian, and just like my previous trip during the 2019 Qingming holiday, I stayed at the InterContinental. The location is super convenient, with a subway station right outside. I usually head towards Zhongshan Square Station, but on checkout day, the doorman, the guy with the long hair in a ponytail, recommended Friendly Square Station and even walked me to the intersection. I really appreciated that! The hotel breakfast was fantastic and had a great variety, including Dalian specialties like sea cucumber porridge with rice and kidney bean clam noodles, plus roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), wraps, and fried dough sticks. I got to try them all! Housekeeping was very prompt; every day I'd leave in the morning and come back in the afternoon to a clean room. The bathroom was spacious and well-lit. The only minor downside was that the room didn't have a main overhead light, making it a bit dim."

"My friend told me this was the best Four Seasons in Northeast China, and I had a really pleasant stay in Dalian this time. Before checking in, I communicated my needs and they even upgraded me to a sea view room for free! The hotel's overall service was incredibly attentive and thorough; they pretty much granted every request. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent – I loved the scent. The sea view from the room was also outstanding. The location is fantastic too. It's very close to Silver Beach, Bangchuidao Island, Nanshan Road, and Zhongshan Square. Personally, I think it's more convenient than staying near Xinghai Square. There are also many must-try restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit."

The gym and pool are top-notch, truly world-class. From the moment I walked in, the service was incredibly attentive. The bell staff immediately offered to help with my luggage, and the front desk staff were all smiles and genuinely helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, meticulously maintained, and the bedding was super comfortable. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the amenities were well-stocked, making for a very relaxing stay. The location is also incredibly convenient, right in the city center, making it easy to get anywhere. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. The service was thoughtful, the room was spotless, and it was a truly comfortable stay. This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Dalian, and I've already recommended it to all my friends."

"My friend and I were traveling during a holiday, laden with bags, and I was worried about long queues for check-in. Lisa, knowing we were on vacation, was incredibly thoughtful. She specifically arranged a non-smoking floor room for us and proactively told us where to find popular local snacks, bubble tea shops, and shopping areas near the hotel. She clearly explained taxi routes and walking directions and even reminded us to be careful when going out at night. She was truly as considerate as a friend. Walking into the room, I was immediately impressed. The cleanliness was impeccable, the room was spacious, and the layout was cozy and comfortable, creating a great vibe for photos, perfect for a girls' trip. Throughout our stay, whenever we saw Lisa entering or exiting the hotel, she would always greet us with a smile. When we needed disposable items or extra bottles of water on short notice, we just mentioned it to the front desk, and Lisa would immediately help us out. Her attitude was consistently excellent – patient and thorough, never perfunctory. The hotel's cleaning staff were also very diligent, tidying the room on time every day, making the beds, replenishing supplies, and keeping everything spotless. Lisa is such a gentle, warm, and detail-oriented person who always puts guests first. Her service was exceptionally thoughtful and down-to-earth, making our stay incredibly comfortable and reassuring. The Shangri-La's location is also very convenient, whether you're going to the airport or attractions. My bestie and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit this area!"

"The room was spacious with a smart layout, and the 1.8-meter bed was just the right balance of soft and firm, ensuring a great night's sleep. The pool experience was fantastic, with a depth ranging from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, perfect for kids. Plus, after a swim, you could relax in a hot spring, instantly melting away any fatigue. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of Xinghai Square. The beach is literally downstairs, and you can walk to the seaside to feed seagulls or simply enjoy a stroll. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and getting around is super convenient, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The service was incredibly attentive; someone proactively reached out to discuss our needs before check-in, and the front desk was quick to respond and always happy to help. We even received fresh fruit daily, and the concierge was able to assist with food deliveries – the attention to detail was truly thoughtful."

"I had a very satisfying stay. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get to various places. There's a direct passage on the fourth floor to the mall, which is entirely dedicated to restaurants and an IMAX cinema. On the first basement floor, there's a supermarket and a florist. I bought live seafood from the supermarket and had the vendor steam it for me to take back to my room – the flower crabs and conches were absolutely amazing. Parking is available right outside, free of charge. The room facilities are great; the shower head and water temperature were perfect, and I used the washer and dryer multiple times. The hairdryer is also high-speed. Overall, everything was ideal."

"Service Experience: The front desk staff, both male and female, were incredibly enthusiastic. Check-in and check-out were very quick, and whenever we had questions, the staff responded promptly. They were attentive throughout our stay and provided us with many useful local tips for our travels. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. The price is also very reasonable, offering great value for money. My whole family had a comfortable stay. We'll definitely choose this place again when we visit this area and will recommend it to friends traveling with children!"

"Location: Near Xinghai Square, it's convenient to go anywhere. Didi (ride-sharing) is cheap and fast, with almost no waiting time. Service: The staff were attentive and thoughtful throughout. Guest Relations Manager Connie Chen contacted us in advance. The greeter at the breakfast restaurant, honestly, the breakfast was quite average, but her proactive and considerate service made up for it. Even the concierge in the lobby was very proactive in providing service. I would choose this hotel again next time. Room: It's a single building, but some floors are business offices. However, the elevators effectively bypass those floors. The high-floor views are also excellent. We were on the 48th floor. The sofa in the room can even be pulled out into an extra bed, so a twin room essentially becomes a triple room. I highly recommend this for parents with children! (I suggest they could put a small card, like Hilton does, explaining that the sofa converts into a bed; we only discovered it on the second day.) Our child accidentally stained the carpet with milk tea, and I think the handling was excellent. They quickly cleaned it while we were out, and the 200 yuan charge was acceptable. It also teaches the little one to be more careful and appreciative in the future. Dalian is truly beautiful, I've recommended it to many friends, and I'll also recommend staying at this hotel!"

"The experience at The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dalian was absolutely fantastic! The European castle architecture creates an incredible ambiance, and the sea view is stunning. The staff were attentive and thoughtful, making check-in a breeze. The room was clean and elegant, with comfortable and cozy bedding. Breakfast was rich and delicious, and the location is also excellent. Overall, it offers incredible value for money and is a superb choice for a vacation in Dalian. Highly recommended!"
