There are supermarket and restaurants nearby, making it ideal for both sightseeing and business trips. Check‑in was fast and efficient. The front‑desk staff Eric were warm, polite and patient, ready to answer all my questions with thoughtful service. The room was spotlessly clean and well‑tidied. The bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was fully equipped with steady hot‑water supply. Good sound insulation ensured a quiet night for rest. Dalian is beautiful.I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout my stay without any unpleasant issues. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to this city！"

"The Dalian Four Seasons was our first Four Seasons experience in China. Having previously stayed at Four Seasons hotels in Prague, Budapest, and Singapore, I'd come to the conclusion that 'Four Seasons is always a safe bet in any unfamiliar city.' In fact, if a city has a Four Seasons, that alone is a great reason to visit, as the brand has extremely high standards for location, and following their lead rarely goes wrong. The Dalian Four Seasons is located in the prime area of Zhongshan Road. It's within a 2km drive to places like Nanshan Street, Zhongshan Square, Democratic Square's Tram Route 201 starting point, and Russian Style Street. Just a 7-minute walk from the hotel, there's a cluster of local restaurants, which is very convenient. We stayed for four nights in an 80-square-meter Grand City View King Room. It featured a spacious bedroom (after fitting a comfortable king-size bed, an L-shaped sofa, a large round table, and chairs, there was still plenty of space for two people to practice Baduanjin), an oversized walk-in closet, and a bathroom. The vanity had the essential double sinks, which made it incredibly convenient for two people. What's particularly noteworthy is the large mirror with a built-in smart TV – this was truly amazing! It's a great bonus for those who brush their teeth thoroughly (which can take a while, so I often watch my iPad at home to avoid boredom). Four Seasons' in-room tea bags and capsule coffee have always been my favorite. The Dalian hotel thoughtfully labeled four different coffee varieties with their flavors and roast levels, and even included a decaffeinated option. This was incredibly friendly for coffee lovers who want to try different trendy cafes outside every day but are also concerned about excessive caffeine intake. Every day, I made a cup of decaf coffee in my room, and could even add milk and ice to make a delicious iced latte – I really enjoyed it. Among the tea bags, Maojian was my personal favorite and one I'd recommend. Speaking of which, I must praise the hotel's sky lobby. Located on the 41st floor, it offers breathtaking sea views. Every day, I spent a long time sitting on the sofa here, reading or simply gazing at the sea, feeling a deep sense of holiday bliss. At 38樓, the gym is the most beautiful I've ever seen in any Four Seasons hotel, and indeed, in any hotel I've stayed in! This is because it boasts the same stunning sea views as the sky lobby. I went to the gym for 2 hours every day for four consecutive days. The equipment was sufficient to train shoulders, chest, back, and glutes/legs on separate days. The completeness of the fitness equipment rivaled that of the Singapore Four Seasons, but the sea view is a definite plus for the Dalian Four Seasons. I was also particularly pleased with the hotel breakfast. While other categories offered everything imaginable, that wasn't the main point. What truly impressed me was how few hotel restaurants can provide a comprehensive selection of avocado, cold-brew overnight oats (with nuts and fresh blueberries), sourdough bread, and salmon with purple cabbage salad all at once. For fitness enthusiasts who maintain a healthy diet year-round, this is an absolute godsend. Even more impressive than all the perfect hardware mentioned above was the service at the Dalian Four Seasons, which perfectly embodied the Four Seasons' core philosophy of 'treating others as you would like to be treated.' I especially want to thank Kayla and Carrie, the duty managers from the Guest Experience Department. They started coordinating with me two days before my arrival. Every morning after check-in, they would message me on WeChat to ask about our comfort levels. After the first night, they adjusted room details based on my personal preferences and needs, making me truly feel the same convenience and comfort as if I were at home. During these five days in Dalian, I truly felt that the Four Seasons makes you happy whether you leave to explore during the day or stay in all day long. A city with a Four Seasons inherently becomes more attractive, and it's a hotel you can 'mindlessly choose' without ever going wrong. Dalian Four Seasons, you are my perfect Four Seasons hotel, and for you, I am willing to return to Dalian!"

"A couple with their four-year-old stayed for three days. It was an amazing experience!!! Highly recommended!! We originally booked a one-bedroom apartment, but the hotel upgraded us to a two-bedroom, two-story apartment with two living rooms, which was incredibly spacious and well-equipped: it had three bathrooms, a bathtub, a kitchen, a refrigerator, a dining area, a living room, and a study. Our child absolutely loved it, running up and down the stairs. The hotel's playground, sauna, and swimming pool were also enjoyed by our child. He even cried when it was time to leave! We will definitely stay here again next time!!! Thumbs up 👍"

"Convenient for going out, and the breakfast was quite good. The sea view at Grand Hyatt Dalian is definitely the best in the city, situated right on Xinghai Square, with the beach just a short walk downstairs. The fan-shaped layout ensures almost every room has a sea view, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the Xinghai Bay Bridge. The evening lights create a fantastic atmosphere. The heated pool offers great views, allowing you to enjoy the seascape even while swimming. The 'Chef's Table' buffet has a rich variety, especially with a good selection of seafood and desserts. The overall service was proper, and check-in efficiency was acceptable. The only minor drawbacks are that the hotel has been open for many years, so some facilities show a bit of age, and during peak season, breakfast can get crowded, requiring a wait for a table. If you're coming to Dalian and want to experience the city's premier sea view, the Grand Hyatt remains an excellent choice. You can enjoy the entire bay from the comfort of your bed, making for a very pleasant vacation experience."

"The facilities are a bit older but clean. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the freshly ground coffee is great. Adding breakfast for 89 RMB is really good value. Overall, the instant coffee in the room was a drawback, as I usually stay in places with capsule coffee machines. The underground parking garage is quite old and run-down, but at least parking is convenient and free. There are many small and large restaurants around the hotel, as well as a small ice sculpture museum with a slide, which my kids from the south absolutely loved. The 201 retro tram station is right downstairs, and Russian Style Street is within walking distance, making it very convenient for sightseeing. I also walked to and checked out Dongbei Lingdan Coffee, which was excellent."

The sky garden, heated pool, and other facilities are all top-notch, making it the premier choice for both business and leisure travelers in Dalian. Highly recommended!"

"Excellent review!!! First and foremost, as a family of three traveling, we'd like to express our sincere gratitude to Cao Yingxue, Cao Hongyan, and Wang Xuemei for their meticulous room cleaning. Since I had a sunburn on my back and was using a special cream, they even went the extra mile to lay down a separate sheet for me. They were incredibly thoughtful in tidying the room, knowing we were traveling with a child. Secondly, the breakfast spread was incredibly rich. Restaurant Manager Bao Lei provided attentive service, and Head Chef Li Decheng and Supervisor Hou Manager thoughtfully checked if the food met our preferences. Five-star rating! Excellent value for money."

"The room size was quite generous, and the bedding and bathroom hygiene were decent. However, there were large, unsightly stains on the carpet that probably couldn't be cleaned, which was a real turn-off. The view was good, and it was close to the beach, perfect for catching the sunrise and sunset. Here's where the problems started. We checked in on Friday and were due to check out on Sunday. We left the hotel at 3 AM on Sunday to watch the sunrise and returned around 5 AM to get some rest. But then, starting at 9 AM, staff members repeatedly knocked on our door, even opening it despite the 'Do Not Disturb' sign. About ten minutes later, someone else knocked again. To top it off, we received a call on the landline that rang a few times and then hung up. We couldn't get any extra sleep and ended up feeling groggy for the rest of the day until check-out at noon. When I checked in, the front desk staff asked for my Hilton Honors number, promising a complimentary fruit platter. We never saw that fruit platter even by the time we left. It's not about the value of the fruit, but why offer it if you have no intention of delivering? On the day we checked in, a staff member even called to ask if I was satisfied with the room. I had just entered, how would I know if I was satisfied yet? Interestingly, no one bothered to ask if I was satisfied when we were leaving. Overall, the experience wasn't great, but the hotel's location and the room itself were quite good."

"First and foremost, Jennie at the hotel provided exceptional service. Check-in and check-out were quick, with a simple and efficient process that meant no long waits. Whenever I had questions, Jennie patiently answered them, making me feel very comfortable. The room she arranged was excellent. I'll definitely contact her again on my next visit!"

"An established five-star hotel with an excellent and convenient location. Parking is available both above ground and underground; the underground can be a bit chaotic but still accessible. The lobby is on the eighth floor, smells wonderful, and feels bright and distinctive. Changing elevators is a minor inconvenience. The rooms are a bit dated and not very large, especially the bathroom where you have to shower in the tub – understandable given how difficult renovations can be. The windows don't open for ventilation, which isn't ideal. The swimming pool is decent, a 20-meter pool, so it's good for a workout. Breakfast is nice with a decent variety and many made-to-order options. Overall, the value for money is pretty good. If you don't have extremely high expectations for the bathroom, rooms, and facilities, it's still a good option, as it's one of Dalian's oldest five-star hotels and still retains its charm. I'd recommend staying here."
