"This hotel just opened this year, so the room facilities are top-notch, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views. However, what's absolutely unbearable is the terrible soundproofing. On the first night, after extending our stay for another day, we were trying to sleep when the people next door started talking loudly and were very noisy. The next day, I asked if we could change rooms, and the hotel said that both rooms next to us were checking out that day. But the second night was even worse – both rooms on either side were incredibly noisy. I couldn't fall asleep until 2 AM when they finally stopped talking, and then I was woken up very early by footsteps. The rooms have partition walls, so I could hear everything from walking, talking, and snoring next door, even their phone vibrating. If you're a heavy sleeper, this room might be fine, but if you have light sleep, please choose carefully."

"Cosy hotel located away from the main road. Easy to get to the hotel, near bus and tram stations. Hence it's convenient to visit Dalian's attractions and shopping malls.
The corner room allocated to us is slightly bigger than the others. The shower provides strong water pressure . Hopefully the management will repair the glass door of the bathroom which doesn't close properly.
The hotel also provides self-laundry services. There are two washing machines and two dryers located on the ground floor."

If you walk, it's about 30 minutes. There are also quite a few dining options nearby, making breakfast very convenient. All in all, it's great 🍺! "I stayed for three days and really didn't want to leave! I absolutely have to give this hidden gem of a guesthouse near Xinghai Square a five-star review! The location is absolutely perfect! Just a few minutes' walk to Xinghai Square, where you can go to the beach in the evening, feel the breeze, and admire the night view of the Huabiao — it's incredibly relaxing. It's super convenient to get to the beach, the convention center, or take the subway, so you don't have to worry about transportation at all. The guesthouse itself also exceeded our expectations. Our room was clean and cozy, decorated with great style, and the large floor-to-ceiling window offered an amazing view. The facilities were very complete, with smart locks providing a great sense of security, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The biggest surprise was how incredibly clean and tidy it was – you could walk barefoot on the floor without any issues. The host was super nice, responded quickly, and answered all our questions, providing many food recommendations that only locals would know. This trip was perfect because we chose to stay here! I highly recommend it to all friends visiting Dalian; it's definitely an excellent value for money experience, and I will certainly stay here again next time!"

"My stay at Xigua Hotel was absolutely perfect! From the warm and attentive welcome by the front desk staff to the incredibly prompt room service, every aspect made me feel so comfortable and cared for. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was spotless and soft, and the bathroom was perfectly clean without a single speck missed, which made me feel very secure. You can ask the front desk to help with laundry, but it's dried on the sixth-floor terrace. However, if you bring it back to your room at night, it dries completely with the air conditioning on. Great value for money! 😊 It's located right near Zhongshan Square, so you can go to Xinghai Square to feed pigeons and enjoy the sea, or head to Hai Zhi Yun Park for some hiking, sea views, and petting cats. There's also a Qiyi morning market nearby where you can grab some food, though prices are a bit higher since it's downtown."

AAbdur Rab (India)Perfect stay and the hotel was very near to airport shuttle was on time. The private car with the driver greeted me well and took me very comfortably to the hotel. The hotel reception front desk was very very good and they gave me a free upgrade and also provided lots of amenities. amenities that you won’t even expect in 4 start property. It’s a very good hotel in this price. I think it is Worth more even two times that you are paying for a perfect stay in shot. If you are looking for a transit near hotel or any property near the airport, I think it is one of the best. It has a supermarket just opposite to a Chinese restaurant beside KFC beside. There is only one Drawback that you have three stairs to the lift & and I felt water pressure was a little less. That’s all, so if you have heavy luggage, you need someone to help, and in this case, the driver who picking me up from the airport, picked up my luggage, all the way from the car loaded and unloaded and into the lift, so I think I don’t have any words to express how happy I am with this. You will not regret it if you book this property.

GGuest UserI booked it because it was remodeled, clean, spacious, and the facilities looked good. The facilities were clean, the location was good, and the breakfast was delicious.
But I had a hard time staying there because of the smell of cigarettes ㅠㅠ It was even harder because I was with a child.
If you really need a non-smoking room ㅠㅠ .... Think about somewhere else.
As soon as I entered the room in the evening, the smell of cigarettes was so bad that I told the front desk. They showed me several rooms to move my room, which I was very thankful for.
Coincidentally, all the rooms I saw had the same smell of cigarettes.
So I gave up, thinking there was nothing I could do, and the next day I bought an air purifier at the mart, sprayed it in the room before going out, and somehow held out for a few days.
My baby and I both had sore throats that we had a hard time since coming to Korea. ㅠㅠ
My throat really hurt from the first night. ㅠ

Firstly, as someone who worked in chain hotels for six years, I'm very particular about cleanliness. This trip, traveling with my child, I opted against a chain hotel (which I usually choose), fearing poor hygiene. But this place was surprisingly good! The views are fantastic, and my child was very comfortable. All the towels are disposable, and the quality is excellent, so there's no need to bring your own. Parking is also super convenient, and getting around with Didi (ride-sharing) was a breeze. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Dalian. I forgot to take photos though, so I can only use screenshots from a video.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel accepts foreigners. Great location, a walking distance from Dalian Station, essentially on Zhongshan Square. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was good, there's even a washing machine (didn't use it though). The staff was kind and helpful. Perhaps the only problem was that the room card didn't work, so I had to get a password, which also expired daily at midnight, and I had to contact the reception to get a new one. But that's not how it's supposed to be, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Overall, a great option.

SSimpleConvincerI had a nice time in Lazy Bill's Hostel. The check-in counter staff were very patient even though we were communicating via a Translation app and even though I don't have a local number from a Chinese mobile network. Also, the coffee shop was located just inside the hostel and it was very convenient! The coffee was delicious. The staff were very serious when it comes to cleanliness. They cleaned the room where I stayed and they mop the room and clean the rest room every day. I could not say anything more. Will I stay here again? Definitely yes! They have a mini-convenience store inside the hostel for booze, juices and water. There were restaurants and bath houses in the area. There was also a nearby KFC! The only thing that had me worried was on my way back home because the station didn't have an escalator going down.
I met a Chinese traveler of Korean descent and a local Chinese who speaks English. They were very kind.
I wish to come back to Dalian and stay in Lazy Bill's Hostel once again.

HHLIdlenessThis is the first hotel I stayed in that has a hostel feel, rather than a cheap rental house or a fancy capsule hotel. The service and facilities are worth the price. Some of the shortcomings that are not as good as those of a star hotel (average sound insulation, light-transmitting curtains, slow draining of the floor drain) can be overcome (earplugs and eye masks take longer to wash), or in other words, they are not a problem at the cost of 64 per day. There is a Lawson nearby (open 24 hours), the nearest subway station is Xianggong Street, and there is a McDonald's to the south. Take the subway for 2 stops to Roosevelt Square, which is convenient for eating and shopping. The front desk is open from 7:30 to 23:00. The boss is a nice person and has three cats (Mocha, Xiaojiu and Erhei).
