"The hotel staff were incredibly kind and provided excellent, enthusiastic service. Our room was spacious, very clean, and perfectly soundproofed, making it wonderfully quiet. The hotel is located right next to Venice Water Town, and the view from our window, whether during the day or at night, was absolutely stunning. It's also very close to Donggang Metro Station, which makes getting to all the attractions super convenient. When we were checking out, we were in a rush, and once the staff knew, they immediately helped us bring our three suitcases down to the lobby, saving us a long wait for the elevator. We're so grateful for that! We'll definitely stay at Yuehe again next time we're in Dalian."

"I found this place online, and after seeing the good reviews, I booked a three-night stay. When I arrived, the front desk upgraded my room. It was spacious, bright, clean, and hygienic, with a separate wet and dry area. All the necessary amenities were provided, and I had a distant sea view from the window. I slept really well all three nights – it was very quiet. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the subway, and you can take Line 2 directly from the airport, which is super convenient. "My first night was booked through a different platform. Before arriving, I'd checked out several hotels, and none seemed ideal – either inconvenient transportation, poor hygiene, or lots of bad reviews. This was the only one with no negative feedback and convenient transport. I was even more pleasantly surprised after checking in, and immediately booked two more nights. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and answered all our questions. Housekeeping was really helpful; when they realized we used a lot of tissue, they immediately gave us two extra rolls and thoughtfully asked if we needed anything else. I think this apartment hotel offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended."

The staff were very friendly and always smiling, and they even proactively gave me information about transportation around the hotel, which was fantastic. I really like this hotel; it was full of pleasant surprises. The electric curtains were a great touch, no need to manually open and close them! The room heating was ample, not cold at all, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. There's a supermarket right across the road, and a KFC and ramen shop downstairs, so no worries about food! Super convenient!

GGuest UserI arrived at approximately 2:00 PM, and although my room was not yet cleaned due to the holiday period, I understood the situation. I checked into Room 232, the 270-degree sea view room, which was the highest available category at the time of booking.
Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected our stay. The condition of the room facilities was disappointing. In the first bathroom, the flush button was loose and partially detached, and there were visible cracks on the wall. In the second bathroom inside the sea-view bedroom, the door stopper was detached and the drainage system did not function properly.
Additionally, the glass panel near the wardrobe had a long crack, which made us uncomfortable using the area as we were concerned about causing further damage. Most importantly, the refrigerator was not functioning. Although a technician came on the first day and informed us that there was no power supply, no proper resolution was provided. On the second day, another technician was arranged, but we had to wait for a long time, which disrupted our travel plans. Eventually, we were informed that the refrigerator could not be used temporarily. As my family stayed for three nights, this meant we were unable to use the refrigerator for the entire stay and had to leave items with the reception, which was very inconvenient and did not reflect the value of the room.
Regarding cleanliness, the first day was satisfactory. However, on the second day, the housekeeping service appeared rushed. There were hair strands left in the room, and the bed was not properly made — the bed cover was simply pulled over without proper arrangement, and the bedding looked untidy and wrinkled. I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness standards.
Furthermore, the booking was made for three guests, yet only two glasses were provided in the room. There was no tea available, only bottled water. Communication via WeChat was also quite slow when requesting assistance.
On a positive note, the room view was beautiful, the location is excellent, and the staff who assisted us before check-in were helpful. The room design and view are truly impressive. However, after check-in, the overall experience did not meet expectations. Additionally, the mirrors in the room had noticeable stains.
I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration for service improvement. Thank you for your attention.

GGuest UserBefore my trip to Dalian, I spent days looking at hotels and B&Bs, worried about cleanliness and being too far from attractions. After three days of searching, and because my child loves loft-style rooms, I finally picked this place. It was such a pleasant surprise! The elevator on the first floor was very convenient. The owner specifically gave us a sea-view room where we could watch the sunrise, and it was also close to the elevator, which was great for the kids and elderly. The room was clean and tidy, and the amenities were very comprehensive. Downstairs is Donggang and Venice, and it's easy to get to Xinghai Square and the Oceanarium by subway or a 20-something RMB taxi ride. There's even parking downstairs. It was a truly enjoyable trip, highly recommend!

AAnonymous UserIt was beyond my imagination. I didn't expect the decoration to be so good. It's well-decorated. You can cook, watch movies, and there's a projector. The bed is also very large. When I checked in, I told the housekeeper if I needed cleaning. I didn't clean it, and no one entered my room without permission. After I checked out, the front desk even watched my luggage for a long time. I went there in winter, and everyone says Dalian is even more beautiful in the summer. I plan to come back in the summer. If the price is acceptable, I would stay here again. It's also very close to the subway station.

CchinesesopranodivaI booked this place for convenience and the price being more economical than other places during this hot vacation season. Unfortunately I would say it did not even meet the basic standard of an economy hotel.
Pros: location is good, in between Dalian North Railway station and the DLC airport, which is the main reason why I stayed there. Linens and pillows and towels were clean.
Cons: There was no 24 hours reception as advertised. In fact, it's only open for a few hours a day. There were no one to receive us when we arrived, I wouldn't mind self-check in, but I don't like false advertisement. I ordered something online and the next day when I went to pick it up, the reception was again not open. I called the host to check the hours, he told me to check the message he left me myself then hung up. I was shocked about the service.
Cons (continued): There were only 2 flat pillows. The TV did not work. The shower had no hot water.
This review will most likely not affect them, because they might eventually change business name and move on if the poor reviews come in. But needless to say I will do my best to avoid this place in the future.

It's very close to the subway and bus stops, and there are many restaurants nearby. There's a Lawson convenience store next door, and they provided printed information about restaurants and tourist attractions, which was quite thoughtful. However, the bathroom drainage was poor and slow.

Best of all, it was a sea-view room. The price was fantastic – definitely cheaper during the off-season and great value for money. The owner was also very kind; you meet a lot of good people from the Northeast region. The location is convenient, and the environment is elegant. The front desk service was warm and professional, the room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to excellent sleep quality. Attention to detail was evident everywhere, making it truly value for money. I will definitely be back!

TtravelandeatThis hotel's location is genuinely brilliant, right in the city centre next to the Zhongshan subway and plaza, and for this price point, you really can't ask for better. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier (Google Translate sorted us out fine), and the cleaning team were lovely too.
The room was decent and properly clean, I checked for dust and there wasn't any. However, the hotel is quite old, and there was some mould on the ceiling and in the bathroom and shower curtain. It didn't bother me personally, but worth noting, and a bit of spray would be great. That said, Dalian was incredibly humid when I visited in late August, so I suspect this is partly a climate issue. Even my own towels wouldn't dry properly. The place was quite busy, mainly Chinese customers, but they were quiet and discreet.
Practical bits: they provide two bottles of water daily and disposable paper towels (which actually came in handy given the humidity). The room also had a washing machine (bring your own detergent) and you can hang clothes outside on the 9th floor veranda. There's a bus stop right outside with direct services to Xian Lu (shopping and basement food market) and the Transport University area night market, the subway goes straight to the airport, and you're walking distance from the main tourist spots like Russian Street, the old tram etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. And two convenience stores on ground floor. This place accepts foreign tourists and check-in was quick and easy. Internet was fast but slower in the evenings.
Honestly, some of the complaints I've read here seem a bit harsh considering what you're paying. You get what you pay for, and at this price point in this location, I think it's fair value. I'd stay here again, especially if travelling on a budget. Thank you, we had a lovely time in Dalian!
