"The location is great, making it convenient to get everywhere. A taxi ride typically takes around 15 minutes, though it's a bit further to Xinghai Square, about 30 minutes. However, there are always cars available on demand. I chose this place because it's close to good food, with many Japanese and seafood restaurants located around Zhongshan Square. Going to the beach isn't an issue either, even if you leave early and come back late. During my stay, I noticed a lot of foreign tourists. While breakfast was provided, it was pretty mediocre, which is a common issue with business chain hotels, so I didn't have high expectations. The front desk staff were all very friendly and attentive to guests' needs. Besides the location, I chose this hotel because the rooms are relatively spacious, and for a two-night stay, a bit of extra room to move around is always appreciated. Other than that, there's not much to say; it's a bit older but overall still good."

"The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The service was excellent, and the location was fantastic, very close to Venice (presumably Venice Water Town in Dalian), just a few minutes' walk away, making getting around super convenient. We had previously stayed at the Grand Hyatt and Four Seasons hotels, so we expected a downgrade when coming here, but we were pleasantly surprised. I actually found it more comfortable than the Four Seasons, and the value for money is truly outstanding. Next time I'm in Dalian, I'll definitely book a room with you again."

"Our second stop on the trip was Xinghai Square, and our room's window faced the square directly. There were restaurants right downstairs. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy, and the facilities were relatively new. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and they even had a robot to deliver items. The hotel had a unique Qingqiu Fox theme, which was quite special. The only downside was that the road leading to the hotel entrance was under renovation, and there was a strong smell of garbage, which wasn't a great first impression. Oh, and one more thing, the sauce in the rice noodles for breakfast was incredibly salty; they really need to improve that!"

There was a slight hiccup during check-in, but I was really touched by the sincere and professional attitude of the short-haired lady at the front desk who resolved it (her professionalism deserves a thumbs up – hotel service and problem-solving attitude are everything). I hope the hotel will also prioritize guests booking through platforms like Trip.com in the future. If they're only going to focus on guests who book directly through H Rewards and get late check-out privileges, then I suggest they stop taking bookings on online platforms altogether."

"This is my 2nd time staying here. I always enjoyed the room, the size is luxurious, the toilet is very clean and the Sealy bed gives me comfort. The room overlooks a running track it’s always quiet. The breakfast serves a luxury spread and if you’re too lazy to walk cross the road for dinner, the hotel has a bar and restaurant, serves nice beer and western food. It’s also 650m walk to the nearest metro and 1km to the airport. It has an airport shuttle too! Great price, great location and great service. Bestest airport hotel I ever stayed 👍👍👍"

"The hotel is very clean, and it's quite convenient for business trips. It's close to the subway station and bus stops, and also near the train station. There are rows of restaurants, big and small, all around. Plus, there are many old buildings that have a great sense of history. The hotel facilities are decent and quite convenient; you can even do your laundry. The service is also good. Overall, it's great, I recommend it."

"A good hotel is key to a successful trip! This hotel is very close to Xinghai Square, and across the bridge is an amusement park. The paths are flat, perfect for strollers or 'baby walkers' (though the area right outside the hotel entrance has cobblestones, which can be a bit bumpy for strollers). The room environment is excellent. We are a family of five – four adults and one child – and stayed in the 'Star Blue' room, which was perfectly spacious. It had a 1.8m bed downstairs plus a tatami mat upstairs, and even a single sofa that could be used for sleeping. The space felt generous. There's also a private little courtyard where you can hang kids' clothes to dry (as long as it's not raining). The hotel has a laundry room with a dryer, so no more bringing dirty clothes home!"

"This time I stayed at Howard Johnson Jingyue Hotel in Dalian. The overall experience was very satisfactory. The hotel was in a great location. It was very close to Xinghai Square and within walking distance to the beach. It was especially convenient to travel and play. The room was clean and tidy, the lighting was good, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the sleeping was very stable, the supporting facilities were complete, and the daily use was very easy. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, the check-in and check-out efficiency was very high, and the response was timely. There are many dining options around the hotel, and it is convenient to eat and go shopping. The overall price is very good, whether it is a tour or a short trip is very suitable. This trip to Dalian is comfortable, next time I come to Dalian, I will give priority to this one, and I recommend it to friends who come to Dalian to play."

"This stay was absolutely fantastic! As soon as I opened the door to the room, my eyes lit up. The window offered excellent natural light, and the room's facilities were top-notch and brand new. I slept soundly all night and woke up feeling refreshed – the Atour bedding really lived up to its reputation. The bathroom amenities had a scent I loved, a unique Atour fragrance, and the hairdryer was powerful enough to leave my hair smooth and frizz-free. What impressed me most was the service. The housekeeping auntie thoughtfully tidied my charging cables while cleaning and even left a little note reminding me about the changing weather. The freshly cooked noodles for breakfast were absolutely delicious, and they truly set me up for an energetic day. Overall, the stay was comfortable and worry-free, a perfect experience, primarily focusing on peace of mind!"
