"I originally booked a king-size room, but it wasn't ready yet, so they kindly upgraded me to a twin room for free. The room was incredibly spacious at 55 square meters with a fantastic view. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and there was a large wardrobe in the entryway, complete with a hairdryer. A little further in was a counter with a kettle and tea set, and below that, a small bar. The two beds were quite large, probably 1.35 or 1.5 meters wide! The room had everything you could need: a desk, chair, floor lamp, sofa, and shoe cabinet. It was a very comfortable stay! I used my points for a day of breakfast for two, which was pretty good. The front desk staff were lovely. On the first day, they gave us welcome fruits, and on the last day when we checked out, they gave us a parting gift. Oh, and there was complimentary milk and Oreo cookies on the bedside table – a really thoughtful touch! Next time I'm in Dalian, I'll definitely stay here again!"

The toiletries were from Peter Thomas Roth, their natural herbal scent washing away the day's fatigue and leaving me feeling instantly refreshed. During my stay, there was a minor incident that further solidified my appreciation for the hotel's service. Returning to my room on the second day, I found my key card demagnetized and couldn't open the door. After explaining the situation at the front desk, the staff immediately reissued a new card, proactively asked if I needed help with my luggage upstairs, and offered two bottles of water as an apology. This quick response and genuine attitude were truly touching. Breakfast was equally impressive. The restaurant environment was cozy and elegant, and the variety was extensive, like a small buffet. Both Western and Chinese options were abundant: freshly baked bread, freshly ground coffee, fresh juice, hot dishes like scrambled eggs, sausages, and hash browns, freshly made waffles at the noodle station, and hot congee and wontons. The servers cleared plates promptly, keeping the dining area tidy, making for a very pleasant dining experience. The hotel also features a gym and self-service laundry room, both well-equipped and convenient for business travelers or family vacations. While the gym isn't huge, it has essential equipment like treadmills and dumbbells, meeting daily exercise needs. The laundry room has both washers and dryers, solving the hassle of laundry during long trips. This stay truly allowed me to experience Hilton Garden Inn's service philosophy of being 'Friendly, Reliable, Caring, and Thoughtful.' Whether for business or leisure, this is an excellent choice. The next time I'm in this city, this hotel will definitely be my first choice, and I'll enthusiastically recommend it to my friends!"

"I couldn't find the lobby at first, so I followed an arrow sign and went up to the fifth floor. There was a cleaning lady there, and I politely asked her, 'Excuse me, could you tell me where the lobby is?' She completely ignored me. I asked again, 'Excuse me, where is the lobby?' She then impatiently snapped, 'Who told you the lobby is up here? Haven't you ever been to a hotel before? Who told you the lobby is upstairs?' I replied, 'I couldn't find it, so where is it?' She haughtily said, 'It's on the first floor, obviously.' The whole interaction she was just very impatient and arrogant. I was here to take an exam nearby and had hoped to review at the hotel, but she completely ruined my good mood. Then, the soundproofing was terrible and it was so noisy. The next morning, after my exam, I wanted to take a nap, but I could hear everything clearly from the room next door – I couldn't get any sleep at all."
