"Stayed with my family during Chinese New Year. We booked a club suite and a club king room. The rooms were a bit dated but generally well-maintained. The club rooms come with executive lounge access. The light meals are served in the lobby on the first floor, and while the selection wasn't huge, it was convenient. We had a butler who added us on WeChat, recommended some local attractions and activities, and helped arrange transportation, showing good service. If you're bringing kids for skiing in winter, definitely book a coach in advance via the mini-program."

"Facilities: Well-equipped; children's slippers and toothbrushes were provided, and the kids loved the children's playground inside the hot spring. Cleanliness: The rooms were very clean, and everything was neatly arranged, which was very pleasant. Although there were footprints in the lobby, they were quickly wiped clean each time. Environment: Not too crowded; the environment was clean and quiet, very comfortable. Service: The hotel receptionists were very responsible, and the driver who took us to the resort was also very friendly."

"A perfect score! Huazhu Shenxue Nuanju boasts a convenient location and an elegant, quiet environment. The rooms are spacious and bright, with comfortable bedding and complete amenities. The service is attentive and warm, always ready to assist, making for a fantastic experience. Staying here on a snowy day is especially therapeutic, and the price is incredibly reasonable. I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"Great experience at Swissôtel Changbaishan! The service was incredible from start to finish. We were able to check into our room immediately upon arrival at 11am and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade — from a standard queen room to a spacious suite with a separate living area, kitchen, and two bathrooms. A fantastic way to start the trip. The staff were extremely friendly and responsive, offering almost round-the-clock support via WeChat with very quick replies. The built-in translation feature made communication smooth and easy, which we really appreciated. The location itself is beautiful. The European-inspired architecture and charming walking street genuinely make it feel like a small Swiss mountain town — aside from the many Chinese restaurants, of course. It’s a very scenic and relaxing environment. Breakfast offered a great variety of options, including a standard Western/English breakfast along with plenty of Chinese and ASEAN dishes. Something for everyone. The ski center and slopes are just a short walk away, which is very convenient. Do note that this area mainly offers green and blue runs, the mountain is relatively small and doesn’t have more challenging slopes. It’s perfect for beginners or those looking to practice, but advanced skiers may find it limited. We arrived toward the end of the season, so the snow was starting to melt. However, the slopes were still very well maintained, smooth and surprisingly free of icy patches. Ski rentals are available at the ski center. Basic skis and equipment are included free of charge, while gloves and goggles can be rented for a small fee. After skiing, we visited the spa at Club Med, which was included in the room rate. The facility was surprisingly large, featuring outdoor hot springs (onsen-style pools), saunas, steam rooms, and massage services, the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a great destination for a relaxed ski getaway."

"My stay at Jinhua Resort was exceptionally pleasant overall. The hotel grounds are elegant and tranquil, with a wide variety of public leisure areas. Our dedicated butler, Haha, provided attentive service throughout, proactively assisting with everything from check-in to arranging our activities. She was always on hand to help with any issues, offering kind and thoughtful service. This level of meticulous care truly warmed our trip. I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to stay here; the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be returning to Jinhua for my next vacation."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was super convenient, very close to the ticket gate, and right outside was a street full of breakfast stalls. It saved so much time in the morning! The owner was really nice and enthusiastic, and even gave us hot spring vouchers. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend to friends!"

"We originally planned to stay for just 3 nights, but ended up extending our stay to 6 — and a big part of that was thanks to the amazing hospitality from the manager, Mr Zhang Meng Xu. Zhang was incredibly responsive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. What really made the difference was how he took the time to introduce us to many attractions, activities, foods, and interesting things to do around the area. His recommendations made the trip far more enjoyable and helped us discover places, foods we probably would have missed otherwise. Because of his helpful guidance and the welcoming atmosphere, extending our stay felt like an easy decision. Truly appreciate the great service and hospitality. Highly recommended"

"We stayed in the family suite, which is perfectly designed for a family trip, especially with two kids. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room. The hot springs are right downstairs, which is super convenient for guests. Breakfast, however, was a major drawback. Forget about the variety, the breakfast hours were only from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. None of the other hotels in the resort have such late hours. We had booked a rafting trip and could only manage to get on the earliest 6 AM slot, and I was constantly worried about not making it back in time for breakfast. Luckily, we just caught the tail end of it. To make matters worse, despite the room being nice, the showerheads had issues. I'm not sure if it's the water pressure or the design, but to get hot water, the stream would become incredibly tiny, even smaller than the faucet. If you tried to open it up a bit more, it would turn cold. Both shower rooms were like this. I put up with it for the first two days by showering at the hot springs downstairs. On the last day, I finally brought it up to the hotel, and they sent a fruit platter as compensation. But honestly, the quality of the hotel's fruit was really disappointing."

"The suite was perfect for a family with kids; the sofa could be made into a comfortable bed for one person. The hotel shuttle to the ski resort ran every 10 minutes, and the front desk helped us arrange a coach and rent ski clothes, which was very convenient. We participated in many hotel activities, and the hiking one was excellent!"

"The room has a very traditional Chinese style, and the service is exceptionally thoughtful. The hotel's cleanliness is excellent, and the soundproofing is superb, allowing me to enjoy the tranquility my vacation deserved. They even sent an ice bucket to the room in the evenings, perfect for a nightcap after a day of exploring. The hotel added me on WeChat beforehand, and the butler was able to provide timely and very attentive service. The parking is free, and there's a direct elevator to the hotel, so the amenities are quite good. The hotel's restaurant is fantastic. I usually struggle with new cuisines, but the food here was excellent and perfectly suited my taste. It offered local specialties while also being palatable for someone from the south. The breakfast, especially, was outstanding, and the wontons were delicious. Finally, a special thanks to the duty manager, Joy. She was incredibly patient with every guest, providing a lot of help during my two-night stay and answering many of my questions about exploring the resort. When our car tire went flat after checking out, Joy even recommended a nearby repair shop that was very fair and reasonably priced. The service at Park Hyatt truly demonstrated the professionalism expected of hotel staff; their dedication didn't waver even after we checked out. They genuinely care about ensuring every aspect of your trip is safe and smooth."
