Ski pass activation is hassle-free without facial recognition, and you don't need to remove your goggles at the ski lift gates (a much better experience compared to other resorts like Tonghua Wanfeng, where check-in requires facial recognition and the lift gate experience is poor 👎). Plus, you can still enjoy some 'noodle snow' even at the end of the ski season…"

"The hotel is well located, about 30 min by taxi from Baishan Changbaishan airport, 10 min walk from the West slope departure center as well as many restaurants. It looks majestic from the outside and inside, although a bit old. You can enjoy inside and outside hot springs of different kinds and temperatures. There is a huge buffet with various choices for breakfast (Chinese dishes mainly, two kind of fruits and some Western options). The room was very spacious and comfortable. The carpet floor was not very clean and the room smelled like cigarette on the first day, although we asked for a non smoking room. After leaving the window open the whole day it was better and the smell did not come back."

"This time, we chose the Wanda Realm Changbaishan Hannashan Hot Spring Hotel, and our family trip was exceptionally enjoyable, making the whole experience highly recommendable. The hotel's location is truly superb. After entering the Changbaishan Wanda Resort, it's immediately on your right, making it easy to find and incredibly convenient for entering and exiting the resort. The hotel's hot springs live up to their reputation; the bathing experience is incredibly soothing and comfortable. The outdoor open-air hot springs, in particular, offer stunning views. Soaking in the pools while admiring the surrounding natural scenery is profoundly relaxing and therapeutic. We booked a quad family room, and encountered a few minor issues during our stay. However, both the guest relations manager and the front desk staff were incredibly reliable in handling these problems. I especially want to commend the front desk attendant on duty, who was meticulous and thorough. He proactively followed up on every issue, patiently communicated and coordinated solutions, and ultimately provided a resolution that left our entire family very satisfied. The hotel's elderly-friendly facilities are very thoughtful, with gentle, barrier-free ramps along the pathways, making it smooth and easy to navigate with elderly family members in wheelchairs. I highly recommend booking this quad family room; it's perfect for family getaways. If we return to Changbaishan for a vacation in the future, our family will definitely choose this hotel again."

The hotel is centrally located within the Wanda Resort, with the ski slopes just a short walk away. Its back exit from the restaurant leads directly to the Haidongqing Ski Service Center, meaning no long queues for ski rentals or returns. The equipment is relatively new, and the flow is smooth, which is great for both beginners and advanced skiers. It's also close to the Dragon Cable Car, providing access to multiple runs once you reach the top, offering a fantastic ski-in/ski-out experience. The airport is about a 25-minute drive, and the hotel provides scheduled shuttle services, accommodating even late-night flights, making travel very convenient. The guest rooms are simple yet practical, with a moderate amount of space. The heating is ample, and hot water is consistent. The bedding is comfortable, and both soundproofing and cleanliness are top-notch. Some rooms offer views of the snow-covered mountains, providing a wonderful winter ambiance. There's also a NITRO co-branded floor with distinct ski elements, which younger guests will appreciate. Amenities include a gym and self-service laundry. The front desk service is responsive, and the staff are warm and attentive, promptly resolving any issues. The overall service is thoughtful. The 'Yue' Restaurant offers a rich and varied buffet breakfast, combining Chinese and Western options with plenty of hot food to refuel after skiing. For other meals, you can order authentic Northeastern specialty dishes, which are delicious and offer good value. Packages often include ski passes, hot springs, and water park access, making it a very cost-effective option for a one-stop vacation. On the downside, the rooms aren't particularly large, so multiple pieces of luggage might feel a bit cramped. Also, the resort's shuttle bus schedule is fixed, and you might have to wait during peak hours. Overall, these minor drawbacks don't detract from the experience. The location, convenience for skiing, service, and value for money are all exceptional. It's a foolproof choice for a winter vacation in Changbaishan, highly recommended for skiers, families, and leisure travelers."

"To catch a glimpse of the beautiful Heavenly Lake, I changed my itinerary and chose to stay here so I could go up the mountain first thing in the morning. It's a 5-minute walk from the West Slope Tourist Distribution Center. The lobby is bright and spacious, and the front desk staff were very helpful, answering all my questions. There's also a small convenience store where you can buy snacks. It seems there are two elevators, one for the hot springs and one for guest rooms. The room was quite large, the air conditioning was good, and the bed was comfortable with large, soft pillows, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, no strange odors, and plenty of hot water in the shower. The breakfast offered a good variety, and the taste was decent. There's a supermarket next to the lobby if you need to buy anything small. It's about a 10-15 minute drive from the high-speed rail station and 5-10 minutes from the town, so transportation is very convenient. "I was torn between Wanda and Huamei for a while, but ultimately chose this place, and I'm so glad I did – it was a great recommendation from Xiaohongshu! The exterior looks like a Swiss chalet. I booked a room with a view and could see the mountains. B1 has a snack street, and it's less than a five-minute walk to the hot spring hotel. In the evening, you can even catch a performance; the iron flower show was absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff's service attitude was excellent, especially Mr. Mark! He not only helped me find an affordable swimwear store but also went above and beyond to assist with any requests I had. Thumbs up! There's a dryer downstairs; just let the front desk know if you need to use it. The room was very spacious. Initially, I was a bit worried when they mentioned hot water was limited to 20 minutes (because it needed to heat up), but it turned out to be absolutely fine, and the water temperature was great. Breakfast at the Magpie Restaurant on B1 offered a good variety of options. After eating, you can use the vouchers the hotel provides to enjoy the activities. Even though the weather wasn't ideal for visiting Tianchi these past two days, I had a very comfortable two-day vacation here!"
