"We brought our child to Tianchi and thought it would be nice for them to soak in the hot springs after coming down from the mountain. That turned out to be a great idea! We had a fantastic time at the hot spring hotel that day and spent most of the next day exploring the resort. There are so many activities, and it's a one-stop shop for food, accommodation, and entertainment, all in a beautiful setting. We originally planned to spend the whole day enjoying the activities, but we had to leave the water park quickly because the water was too cold. My only suggestion is that since this place caters to families with seniors and children, the water temperature is too low. The kids' play area was only 19 degrees Celsius, and the wave pool was just over 20 degrees. Many families went in without realizing how cold it was and came out shortly after, with their children's lips turning purple and shivering from the cold. I really hope the water temperature can be adjusted, made a bit warmer. Also, towels should be provided upon exiting the pool, not just after showering. I told a staff member my child was shivering and asked if we could get a towel, especially since it was windy outside, and only then did they say yes. I don't mean anything by it, but this is one area where they could learn from other hot spring hotels. The Holiday Inn Express where we stayed was quite good, with a rich breakfast and very friendly and enthusiastic front desk service. However, the staff at the entrance seemed more helpful to tour groups. For those of us who drove ourselves, they weren't as attentive. Maybe they figured we wouldn't be returning. I was alone with my child, carrying two pieces of luggage, and no one at the entrance offered to help. But when a tour group came out, they immediately helped them with their luggage onto their bus… I don't even want to comment on that…"

"The hotel has a grand exterior, but the location is a bit out of the way and the surrounding area is deserted. Many of the hot spring pools were closed, and the service was a mess. I stayed for two nights, and when I came back on the second day, I found that the room hadn't been cleaned, the trash hadn't been taken out, and the water hadn't been brought in... This is the first time I've encountered this situation in a high-end hotel! The hotel restaurant is quite good, and the set meals are quite affordable."

"The hotel is located in Wanda Resort, and it's pretty much door-to-door with Yuhua, HIE, and Momoland hotels. The facilities inside the hotel are a bit old, especially the bathroom, where the floor creaks when you walk on it, leading to very poor soundproofing. The hotel service is excellent, especially Manager Wang, who was responsive to all our questions and promptly helped solve various issues – highly recommend! The complimentary activities included with the booking were all great, like the hot springs, boat ride, and cable car. On August 15th, the resort wasn't very crowded, so there were hardly any queues for anything, making for a fantastic experience."

"This hotel is located at the very end of the Changbai Mountain Wanda Resort. The room size is standard, but the bathroom isn't particularly spacious. The king-sized bed is huge, perfect for families traveling with children. Check-in and daily services were very good, and our questions were answered promptly. The pancakes for breakfast were delicious. Getting around the resort requires taking the resort's small train, which runs every hour on the hour and half-hour, which is very convenient. It's also easy to get a taxi outside the resort, as there are many available. The hotel benefits included complimentary access to the water park and hot springs, among other things."

"1. Pick-up and drop-off service is available, which is super convenient! 2. The bunk beds were my kids' favorite! They said they want to come back to this hotel specifically because of them next time. 3. The sofa by the window spans the entire length of the room, so we could neatly line up all our clothes, which was incredibly handy. 4. The front desk staff and butler were incredibly responsive and accommodating. 100 points! 5. Perhaps because of the bunk beds, I noticed there were always two cleaning staff members, which is a big plus. 6. The evening activities were fantastic every day. After skiing, we'd soak in the hot springs, and right after dinner, we'd catch the iron flower show. The iron flowers were even more beautiful than fireworks. 7. The instructor was excellent. My 6-year-old was able to ski on their own after just two hours of one-on-one lessons. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our trip to Changbai Mountain. We'll definitely be back next year!"

"We stayed in the family suite, which is perfectly designed for a family trip, especially with two kids. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room. The hot springs are right downstairs, which is super convenient for guests. Breakfast, however, was a major drawback. Forget about the variety, the breakfast hours were only from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. None of the other hotels in the resort have such late hours. We had booked a rafting trip and could only manage to get on the earliest 6 AM slot, and I was constantly worried about not making it back in time for breakfast. Luckily, we just caught the tail end of it. To make matters worse, despite the room being nice, the showerheads had issues. I'm not sure if it's the water pressure or the design, but to get hot water, the stream would become incredibly tiny, even smaller than the faucet. If you tried to open it up a bit more, it would turn cold. Both shower rooms were like this. I put up with it for the first two days by showering at the hot springs downstairs. On the last day, I finally brought it up to the hotel, and they sent a fruit platter as compensation. But honestly, the quality of the hotel's fruit was really disappointing."

"Although the facilities aren't brand new, they are very clean, and the bedding is spotless. Even though there's no air conditioning, it wasn't hot at all at night; I even needed a blanket in the middle of the night. All the staff were lovely, especially Crispy Shark at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and reminded us to close the window because it would get cold at night."

"Our first stop in Changbai Mountain was the newly opened hotel on the West Slope. They offered a complimentary airport pick-up service, which was super convenient as we didn't have to drag our luggage around looking for the hotel. The hotel itself is in a fairly lively area, probably the tallest building in town. The West Slope scenic area was closed, so we spent the afternoon enjoying activities at the forest park not far from the hotel, which was great since they provided shuttle service. Dining and shopping nearby were very convenient; there were restaurants all along the street and a local specialty shop across the road. The hotel breakfast was just okay, but I didn't have high expectations anyway. Ordering takeout was also easy, and a robot would deliver it right to our room."

"The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Wanda Resort. We rented a car ourselves, so staying here felt very convenient. Compared to hotels within the resort, the facilities are much newer and the price is more affordable. We, two adults and two children, even received a complimentary breakfast. Additionally, we bought ski passes for 400 yuan. We rented ski equipment at Haidongqing, and there were very few people there, whereas the town service center was packed. Overall, we were very satisfied and recommend staying here. Just a heads-up about the water park: the admission is free, but you *must* rent a locker for 30 yuan per person."
