"We had a very satisfying holiday experience. Even though it was a public holiday, it didn't feel crowded at all. The hotel's pool and hot spring baths were practically empty during the day, so we had them all to ourselves. Breakfast offered a great variety of options. The boardwalk behind the hotel made it very convenient to walk to the cable car and food street. Most importantly, the service throughout our stay was excellent. I rarely encounter such attentive service, especially from our duty manager, Joy. A huge thank you to her!"

"First off, the hotel was very cheap. Getting around wasn't convenient. Since I visited during the hotel's off-season, there weren't many guests. However, precisely because there weren't many guests, I wish the hotel would pay more attention to room maintenance. When I first entered the room, it felt very run-down, with many stains. There was a large stain visible by the bed, and the floor had obvious moldy black spots. I reported this to the front desk, and they offered a few other rooms to switch to, but after looking at them, none were much better, so I didn't bother changing. At night, when I turned on the TV, there was no signal. And even funnier, when I picked up the remote control, its battery cover was missing, and the batteries were exposed. There were two phones in the room, and one of them was broken. When I turned on the lights at night, the switch panel felt very stiff and jammed when pressed. After pressing it, the switch cover fell off. Can you imagine me staying in an international brand hotel with room conditions like this? The air conditioning was also very loud, humming away. Because there were so few people, breakfast was served as a set menu. While a set menu isn't inherently a problem, if there's less food, couldn't it at least be made better? The sausages were starchy, the bread was very dry, the fried noodles were inedible, and the Chinese pastries were just lukewarm, not hot at all. I hope the hotel can improve, otherwise, it will only get worse and worse."

"The rooms are quite old and outdated. Compared to my first stay three years ago, the facilities and service are simply incomparable. The only upside is that the room is very spacious and has a dedicated kitchen. While there's no electric stove in the kitchen, its large size is great for storing things. The amenities are generally quite old; for instance, the magnifying mirror in the bathroom had come loose from its screws and fallen off. However, after I called, they sent someone to fix it immediately. On the day we checked in, the underfloor heating in both the living room and bedroom wasn't on, making it very cold. It only got slightly better on the second day. The overall heating supply is insufficient, and I had to wear thick clothes indoors. Compared to Wanda, the heating supply is much worse. The service on the night of check-in was good; the front desk even helped receive a package for me, which was convenient. However, after the front desk staff changed on the morning of the 25th, the service became very poor, especially from a female staff member standing on the left side. She answered 'I don't know' to everything. When I asked about the price of ski tickets, how to buy them, and if there were any discounts, she didn't even look up and replied that we needed to go out and find out ourselves, and that these questions were irrelevant to the hotel and she wouldn't answer them. The service in the breakfast restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was quite good, and the complimentary ginseng chicken soup set dinner was also delicious. The restaurant servers provided excellent service. Also, we stayed in a one-bedroom suite, and the living room had a sofa bed that could be pulled out for children, but the living room bathroom had no toiletries whatsoever. I had to call twice to get them delivered, which was very inconvenient."

"The location is fantastic, just a two-minute walk to the commercial street with a wide variety of restaurants. However, some stores, like McDonald's and Starbucks, were closed. The hotel also offers a great selection of entertainment facilities; the pool is clean and well-supervised, maintaining good order. Cleanliness: Generally very clean, and housekeeping was prompt. Ambiance: Although the hotel is older, it's very well-maintained. Service: Any issues were resolved quickly with a fast response time. Even during the busy Dragon Boat Festival, the service quality remained excellent. Overall, it offers great value for money! I'll definitely be back!"

"The large hotel is spacious and grand, with a large parking lot and ample parking spaces. The lobby exudes a high-class feel. From the moment I stepped into the front desk, I experienced professional and meticulous service; the staff were warm and attentive. The rooms were spacious and clean, with complete and comfortable amenities and comfortable bedding. Waking up in the morning, I saw Changbai Mountain shrouded in mist outside my window – the natural scenery was beautiful! [Thumbs up] The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options, combining Chinese and Western dishes. It's worth noting that every staff member provided enthusiastic service and answered all my questions. The outdoor hot springs were not open, and only a few indoor hot spring pools were open, but the water was visibly clean. The water temperatures in the different pools varied slightly, allowing me to choose the one that suited me best. Overall, my stay was very pleasant, and I would definitely recommend it to my friends. I will definitely come back next time I have the chance to visit Changbai Mountain! [Grinning face]"

"This was my second stay at a Wanda property. Because hotel prices were much higher than usual at Wanda during Chinese New Year, I opted for the Sheraton instead, even though two nights still cost nearly 7,000 RMB. But to my surprise, I was disappointed in every aspect… Firstly, on February 16th, as soon as I entered the lobby, I saw guests arguing with hotel staff. I wasn't sure about the specific reason, but I already had a bad feeling. Secondly, February 16th was Chinese New Year's Eve. My family of three was watching the Spring Festival Gala in the room, and when we tried to pull down the shower curtain, it was broken. After reporting it, we found that even when the curtain was down, it was still see-through… I nearly fainted! This might be okay for couples, but if you're traveling with friends or family with kids, wouldn't that be incredibly awkward? Then, when we were ready to sleep that night, we discovered an issue with the toilet – there was a constant dripping sound, which was driving me crazy. It was Chinese New Year and the middle of the night, so I decided to deal with it the next day. I communicated with the hotel concierge in the morning but never heard back about a resolution. After breakfast, I had to speak to the front desk myself to get a room change… It was a huge hassle, moving from one end of the hotel to the other (a very long walk, dragging suitcases for 10 minutes, and taking two different elevators). The most ridiculous part was that this concierge, after we checked in, enthusiastically recommended various paid activities to us, and we even booked some through him… Ha! During Chinese New Year, I didn't want to ruin our trip or make things difficult for the staff who were still working. So, I tried to keep my negative emotions to myself. However, an old, established hotel, even if it's been open for a long time, isn't excused from all problems. Proper equipment maintenance and staff quality training are just basic operational necessities, aren't they? If they only think about making money from customers' pockets without any sincerity, how far can they really go?"

"The room was clean, tidy, and odorless. While the facilities weren't brand new, everything was in good working order. The front desk and butler service were attentive and enthusiastic, always ready to help! Breakfast was delicious; although the variety wasn't extensive, everything tasted great. If you're coming here to enjoy the benefits, Tianchi Lake, and ginseng digging, I'd say you need at least three days – make sure to set aside enough time! Oh, and the environment is absolutely stunning! Just relax and enjoy it~"

"The Changbaishan Meijingge Resort Hotel is quite good. Every casual photo turns into a stunning snowy landscape. Enjoying the beautiful Changbai Mountains from the balcony is fantastic. The ski resort has excellent snow quality and isn't crowded. After skiing, you can head straight to the outdoor hot springs. Soaking in the hot springs at -20℃ while watching the snow fall is an amazing experience. In the evening, you can also go to the town to watch the iron flower show. Manager Coco provided thoughtful and timely service, and the shuttle arrangements were perfect. Skiing, hot springs, and delicious food—it's a one-stop shop for a winter getaway in Changbai Mountains. You can't go wrong, just go for it!"

"Booking with a platform pre-sale voucher was quite a good deal. I consulted with the front desk in advance about changing a king-size bed room to a twin room. After confirming availability, I extended my stay for two more nights, which included breakfast for two and some paid activities. The location of Tianyu is very convenient for tourists visiting the West Slope. Baiqi Station is just a 5-minute walk away. During the off-season, there aren't many tourists on the West Slope, so buses usually depart when full or every twenty minutes. This is much better than the North Slope, where you can only enter during your booked time slot. The room is said to have been renovated; the curtains felt new. The smart toilet seat didn't quite fit the toilet properly at first; the lid wouldn't stay up and kept falling down. I had a technician adjust the position and spacing, and it finally stayed upright. The bathroom is super large, with a double vanity in the dry area and a wardrobe (there's also one at the entrance for luggage and coats). It also has a large bathtub and a separate shower. Tianyu is very suitable for families with young children, offering both indoor and outdoor animal interactions. We adults also found the corn playground quite fun. You use small machines to shell corn kernels from a pile of dried corn, and then transport them with a hand-cranked conveyor belt. Playing with a pile of dry corn kernels is cleaner than playing with sand, and it also gives your feet a nice massage. We had breakfast for three days straight; there wasn't much variety, but the soy milk, fried dough sticks, and blueberry jam are not to be missed. The bottled water in the room is Nongfu Spring, while in the restaurant and lobby, it's Quanyang Spring, both sourced from Changbai Mountain – perfect for drinking your fill. Before leaving, I also booked a travel photo shoot. They offer 5 retouched photos for each night stayed, so we negotiated 15 retouched photos in total for our three-night stay. The photographer was skilled, and my best friend and I had a great time taking pictures on the hotel's outdoor wooden boardwalk and flower fields. It was effortless to pick out our favorites. There's only one indoor hot spring pool available. Soaking in it after climbing the 1442 steps of the West Slope was really soothing. The swimming pool was closed, and I guess the four or five outdoor hot spring pools will only open during the peak winter season. Changbai Mountain West Station opened on September 28th, and the hotel provides free shuttle service, making the 30-minute journey much more convenient. It will also make transferring between the North and West Slopes much easier in the future (no more two-hour bus rides!). We were incredibly fortunate that both the North and West Slopes were open during our short stay in Changbai Mountain (Tianchi Scenic Area was closed on the days before and after our visit). Tianchi graciously revealed its serene and profound beauty to us. The autumn colors of Changbai Mountain were mesmerizing. So grateful! 🥰"

"Originally a pleasant experience! Came back for one last ski trip before the season ended! Concierge Xiao Chen provided excellent service~ He proactively asked if I needed any assistance and checked on my stay experience, and all my requests were met~ What's interesting is that I had already reached the airport when I remembered I hadn't returned my ski pass. I asked the taxi driver to take me back, and Xiao Chen also helped me retrieve my ski equipment deposit. Northeasterners are truly kind!"
