"We stayed for 7 days and enjoyed many aspects of the villa. However, after our stay, both of us experienced significant itching and bite-like reactions. We also noticed suspicious black spots around the bed area during the stay. We cannot confirm the exact cause, but future guests may want to carefully inspect the bedding and mattresses. Management should consider checking for bed bugs or other insects. Other than this issue, our stay was pleasant."

"The room is clean and a non-smoking area. However, the main issue is the staff’s attitude, especially the large Chinese receptionist, who had a kind of annoying expression. They asked for a deposit. I didn’t have any cash in rupiah, so I offered to pay in dollars, but he refused. He then tried to take my ID as proof and hold onto it. I said no and offered my driver’s licence instead, but he refused again, saying it was expired. I even offered to transfer the money using BCA banking, and he still refused. So I had to look for the nearest ATM at 11 PM, almost midnight?! In the end, he took my driver’s licence with an annoying expression on his face."

The hotel's location is also strategic, making it easy to access various places. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and made us feel right at home. "I stayed there for my last 2 days in Bali. Room was clean, without any smell; swimming pool is very beautiful and comfortable to take some tan or to swim. The beach right in front of the hotel, also really good, sun beds and umbrella for free. Personal is very nice and smiling. Restaurant on the roof top is the best! Amazing sunsets, good food and drinks This is the high class hotel, strongly recommend to choose it if you want to rest few days before or after your flight. For sure I’ll come back here again, but will stay a little bit longer"

"Very reasonable price, low season I guess, try not to book the standard room unless you are fine without kettle, coffee/tea, toothbrush/paste, clothes hanger stand or wardrobe, go for superior room or something else instead, just a little different in price. Spacious room, mattress and pillows are firm yet comfortable, very Balinese building, good landscaping, with 2 and 3 storeys building (walk-up), low density, location is tip top (for me) as it's about 400 meters from Jln Legian hence away from the slam-bang music..yet it's surrounded by eateries, massage spas and shops, 400 meters away from the beach and mall. Hardcore partyers and party animals pls don't book this hotel, not suitable for you. You ll mess up the tranquility. There is an extensive renovation going on in one of its wing but the hotel management has been doing a reasonably good job in keeping the noise level checked, all in all, despite of some shortcomings, I will still give a 4.5 out of 5 to this hotel in this range of price, you don't get what you didn't pay."

"We recently stayed at this hotel for a night only before heading to airport, and it perfectly matched what we needed: a clean, affordable room right in the heart of the action. Located just right—perfect for sunrise walks, surfing, or sunset drinks. The bustling streets are filled with shops, restaurants, bars, and the Beachwalk Shopping Mall just a short stroll away. The Airport is only about 10-15 minutes by taxi, making it super convenient for short stays or layovers. The lobby feels welcoming, and the rooftop pool and bar offer stunning views over Kuta Beach—ideal for evening cocktails. While not ultra-luxurious, the overall vibe is lively and fun, matching Kuta’s energetic spirit. Staffs were friendly enough and helpful. Rooms are compact but well-maintained and fully equipped with AC but not cold enough, comfortable beds, WiFi, and basic amenities. They’re small enough that you won’t want to linger all day inside, but that’s exactly why they suit short stays so well. Housekeeping was efficient, and everything stayed clean. For the price, it’s excellent value—definitely one of the better cheap stays in Kuta without feeling too basic. If you’re after a no-fuss, wallet-friendly spot close to the beach and nightlife, Kuta Beach Hotel delivers. Highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, or quick Bali getaways."

"The location is very strategic. However, based on our experience staying there for several days, the room service did not change the bed linen set at all — it was only tidied up. This happened even though we stayed for more than two nights. Additionally, when we borrowed dining utensils from the hotel, after we finished using them and left the room, we expected them to be cleaned and removed since they were already used. Unfortunately, they were neither cleaned nor taken out of the room. On the positive side, the security, receptionist, and even the engineering staff were very friendly and helpful. However, it is quite disappointing regarding the room cleanliness. The amenities that we used from the first day were not refilled until we checked out, even though we extended our stay and paid the full price as a new room booking. We honestly felt a bit disappointed, and on the last day we finally complained to the receptionist. It is unfortunate, as the amenities were only complete at the beginning. When extending the stay, they were not refilled, and slippers were also not provided."

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed with their kindness, professionalism, and warm smiles. The service was outstanding in every detail. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. Housekeeping was excellent, and the whole hotel had a clean, relaxing atmosphere. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had such peaceful sleep every night. The breakfast was easily 10/10 😍 Great variety, fresh food every day, delicious options for both adults and children, and everything was presented beautifully. Even the coffee and juices were excellent. The pool area was amazing ,clean, relaxing, and perfect for families. The hotel is also very family-friendly overall, with such a safe and comfortable environment for children. The staff were incredibly sweet and caring with kids, which made the experience even better for our family. The location is also perfect: close to everything in Kuta while still feeling peaceful and quiet inside the hotel. Honestly, compared to other hotels in the same price range around the area, Bintang Kuta deserves a true 10/10 Outstanding rating. It genuinely feels like a much more expensive hotel because of the quality of service, cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail.
