"Stayed in the family room for 13 nights with my husband, with breakfast included. Plenty of space to move around, Very clean. Great aircon 2 in the room. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good plenty of options to choose from. Booked a standard room on last day due to late flight. It was a lot smaller only enough room to walk around the bed. Very clean and cosy if your only there to sleep. Water pressure is great. Only downside theres no pool. At $36 a night for family room and $19 a night for standard and $4.50 for breakfast its a fantastic budget option. Will probably stay again. 15mins walk to kuta beach, 10mins to Legion, 15mins walk to Trans studio was great."

"The hotel location is Ok.. Family friendly.. Staff are exceptionally helpful and good.. But the hotel is Run down.. The room we were allocated..did not have hotwater fro 4 days out of 5 days we stayed... But the staff did bring in buckets of water for our need.. Not ideal..there is no shuttle from the hotel to anywhere... Their lift is down and have to climb lots of steps.. Their kitchen is not operational..so no food at the hotel ..but there are good eating places around within20 mins walking distance.. Although not ideal.. OK. Special mention to staff.. "I really liked the area around this hotel. There are many souvenir shops and local restaurants within walking distance, making it easy to explore and buy gifts. It's also quite close to Kuta Beach, which is a big plus. The room was clean and everything worked well during my stay. The staff were available 24 hours, which made things more flexible. The room size is a bit compact, but still comfortable for a short stay."

"🌟 Professional Hotel Review: Santika Siligita This marks my third stay at Santika Siligita, and once again, the experience was exceptional. The staff are consistently a delight to interact with, providing truly excellent customer service. A special commendation goes to Leni during the breakfast service. She is an outstanding individual who demonstrated great attentiveness and efficiently accommodated all of our requests. The Front Office team is highly professional. As in my previous visits, the check-in and check-out processes were super smooth and completed in minimal time. The hotel itself maintains its characteristic atmosphere, offering a calm and serene environment that perfectly complements a holiday. I have no significant negatives to report about this hotel. If I were compelled to nit-pick, it would be the design of the shower/toilet configuration in the room. Aside from this minor point, the room itself was comfortable and well-appointed. I look forward to the opportunity of staying at Santika Siligita again in the near future."

"We absolutely loved this hotel. For its price point, it's one of the best options around. It's just a 5-minute walk to the beach. The most surprising and amazing thing about this place was the incredible breakfasts. If breakfast is included in your stay, you're essentially getting culinary masterpieces almost for free! They're Ă  la carte, and you get to choose one hot drink (tea or coffee), one juice, a small selection of fruit, and a main dish from the menu. Everything was incredibly delicious. The rooms were quite clean and spacious, and came with all the necessary toiletries. There's also a small pool on-site. The staff were friendly and very helpful! The only downside was that the internet wasn't always great, sometimes it was quite poor, so it's probably best to have mobile data."

"Arriving from Seoul at 11 PM, I opted for a hotel near the airport, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the swimming pool was in good condition! What truly stood out, especially for Korean guests who often prioritize water quality, was how clean the pool water was. I would definitely consider staying here again. There were quite a few Korean guests during my stay, and I even saw families with children, which shows just how suitable this place is for everyone."

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at this villa. We felt right at home. Everything we needed was within easy reach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us rent bikes. The villa is new, conveniently located on a quiet street, and there's a small pool for relaxation and refreshment. Thank you for the amenities provided. We will definitely recommend it to our friends.

VvanillamilkshakeI have many good things to say about this hotel but I must say that no other hotel beats their hospitality and warmness. On the day we arrived, we were paused from moving to listen to the manager’s introduction of the hotel and what to do if a certain situation arises. Ultimately, the briefing the manager gave us showcased the highest level of care, security, and sincerity which really made us feel at home despite staying here for 3 nights. Since there was renovation works being completed beside the hotel, we were given complimentary breakfast and a 60 minute massage. Without fail, the breakfast always appeared on our table at the timing we wanted and it is always absolutely scrumptious. During our stay, we had troubled the staff a lot - mostly because we were afraid of some small flies and occasionally bees but there was a time a spider just suddenly appeared and we went to find the staff. The moment I told the staff about this while my girlfriend was hiding underneath the bedsheets, the staff (and i’m not joking) literally jumped off his seat and ran to get his equipment and ran to the Villa we were staying at. Within 5 minutes, the spider was sent to heaven and we got to have, yet another lovely night’s rest. By the way, this was at 10:30pm and it did not even caused any trouble to the staff - the staff even made sure to spray some pesticide at dark corners and possible areas bugs may hide/nest. I’m not saying this hotel is infested with bugs, but since we are living on an island, a tropical one, there’s bound to be some. For those worried about bugs the common ones are just lizards and they are a safe signal as they are proof that all the bugs have already been eaten by them. On our last night, we went to get a spa and after the spa, we paid 700,000 IDR for 2 people for 90 minutes, directly to the massage therapists. On the way down the stairs, I could hear the staff running to us and making sure if we had paid yet or not. At first I was puzzled, but seeing the worried look and sweaty face of the staff made me realise something wasn’t right. We informed her we had paid 700,000 IDR already and she told us there is a 50% discount (-350,000IDR) that should have been given. After this, she immediately ran up to the rooftop from the 1st floor to get the refund back from the massage therapists. After that, we were so touched we tipped her and continued off to get a good night’s rest. On the day we checked out, our laundry may not have arrived on time, but thanks to the hotel they rushed it and ensured it was washed, dried, ironed, and delivered to our doorstep 3 hours before we checked out. In a nutshell, please come to this hotel/villa if you are playing near Jimbaran - such as the Jimbaran Beach for a nice lovely dinner which we went for or to the Uluwatu Cliff to take nice pictures on the beachside or enjoy a wonderful meal on the cliffside at Malini. I hope this review helps!

AAllgoOhana has some good things about it, and could be a good retreat with some investment. I booked a Deluxe room for one night and checked out the Apartment because I wanted to stay there long-term (thanks to the gym proximity), but the A/Cs were very weak, so I couldn't extend my stay into the Apartment, and the Deluxe room was too small and uncomfortable for laptop work. Pros: - Away from the street and pretty quiet for now (though there's a construction site right next to it, see rooftop photo) - Nice bamboo-lined entrance after you open the gate with the security code - More comfortable beds than in 8/9 other places I've stayed in Bali so far. Not Tempurpedic or anything that fancy, but softer (perhaps a memory foam topped over a coil mattress). - Only 5 minutes walk to the best gym in the area (”WRONG” gym) - The room was clean, the towels smelled very nice, but the glasses looked dirty - Pretty good light blocking curtains - Insect mesh on the windows! This is such a common-sense feature, but it was the first time I saw in Bali, after staying at 5 hotels/resorts, 1 villa, and 3 rooms at PARQ Ubud - Nice (for the area) rooftop views, with beautiful sunsets - Helpful staff assisted with carrying luggage - There's a small communal kitchen with a microwave and utensils you can use - Nice (but unpopulated) rooftop bar area Cons: - The street entrance is a construction war zone, with garbage and everything (see photos) - Not just the A/C in my room, but both split A/C units in the Apartment, were VERY weak (so 3 units in total). The A/C in my small room only managed to drop the temperature by 2.5C (4.5F) during the 2 hours of running at maximum (loudest) fan speed (28.6 -> 26.2 / 83.5F -> 79F, see digital thermometer/CO2 sensor photos). Staff told me they could call engineering to take a look, but the facilities/appliances were old (the subtext being, don't have much hope). - The chair was more of a torture device than a chair. Who in their right mind would buy anything like that except perhaps for a ”DO NOT DESIGN FURNITURE LIKE THIS” exhibit? - Only one power outlet for the desk/chair area, occupied with the WiFi router, so I had to plug my laptop into the bathroom power outlet - No water provided. Staff told me to go to a minimart. The closest one walking north was Circle K, and the walk is the typical stressful walk in Canggu, with scooters and cars parked on the sidewalk, construction all over the place, and the frequent lack of pavement - The place was advertised as a coliving on Colivings, but there were maybe a total of 2 other guests there, and no sense of community whatsoever. - The floating beds looked dirty (see photos) - Due to the height of the pool, it's only exposed to sunshine until about 2pm - The Apartment has an odd choice of 4 chairs around a table instead of a couch, and no microwave or toaster or blender in the kitchen. Good light blocking curtains in the bedroom though, and its view is relatively private when the curtains are pulled open.

MMilly.DThe rooms were very clean, neat, and comfortable. The entire hotel area was well maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. They treated guests with care and were very fast and proactive in helping with any requests. We were really impressed by how helpful and efficient the staff were — all our requests were handled quickly without any delay. The breakfast was tasty and enjoyable. This hotel is great for a short stay. The only downside is the location, which is inside a narrow street, so at night it can feel a bit uncomfortable, especially for solo female travelers, who should be more careful. There are small local shops nearby, but they only accept cash. Overall, this hotel offers excellent cleanliness, great service, and very friendly staff, making it a very pleasant place to stay in Kuta.

VVictorAh, ”Gradmas” in Bali! It seems you're likely referring to one of the Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, specifically Grandmas Plus Hotel Seminyak or Grandmas Plus Hotel Airport. They are popular budget-friendly options in Bali. To give you a good review, I can summarize what people generally say about them, but if you stayed at a specific Grandmas Plus Hotel, let me know which one (e.g., Seminyak, Airport, Legian), and I can tailor the review even more. Here's a general overview of what people often say about Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, combining common feedback: Grandmas Plus Hotels, Bali (General Review) Overall Impression: Generally, Grandmas Plus Hotels are well-regarded as excellent value-for-money options, especially for budget travelers, solo travelers, and those looking for a convenient location. They often receive high ratings for their service and cleanliness. What people like most: * Excellent Location: This is a consistent highlight. * Seminyak: Very close to Seminyak Beach (often cited as a 5-minute walk) and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. This makes it ideal for those wanting to explore the vibrant Seminyak area. * Airport: Convenient for early flights or quick stopovers due to its proximity to the airport. * Friendly and Helpful Staff: Many guests praise the staff for being amicable, attentive, and going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. They often mention the staff's smiles and willingness to help. * Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas are consistently described as sparkling clean and well-maintained. * Value for Money: Guests frequently mention that the price paid for the amenities and location is a great deal. * Breakfast: Often receives positive remarks for being good, and sometimes even offering a ”different gourmet food selection” daily. * Amenities: While generally basic, they offer essential amenities. Some locations have a pool, and many have a connected restaurant/bar. In-house spas are also mentioned as a plus. * Comfort Rooms (after checkout): Some hotels in the chain offer a ”comfort room” which is a nice touch for guests with later flights. What people like least (or areas for improvement): * Room Size: A very common comment is that the rooms can be ”compact,” ”small,” or ”cramped,” especially for families. While well-designed and clean, they might feel a bit tight for some. * Noise: Depending on the room location, street noise, music, or bar noises can be audible, especially in Seminyak, which is a lively area. * Bathroom Ventilation/Issues: Some reviews mention a lack of exhaust fans in bathrooms, or occasional issues like drainage smells or spots on tiles. * Pool Size/Quality: For the Seminyak location, the pool is sometimes described as ”tiny” or ”very poor” and can get crowded. * Limited Amenities: While good for the price, some guests might miss certain features like mini-fridges or electric kettles in the rooms (though free mineral water is usually provided). Would I recommend this hotel? Based on common reviews, yes, I would recommend Grandmas Plus Hotels, especially if you are: * A budget-conscious traveler. * Looking for a hotel with an excellent, central location (Seminyak) or close to the airport. * Prioritizing friendly service and cleanliness over spacious rooms or extensive luxury amenities. * Traveling solo or as a couple (larger groups or families might find rooms a bit small). They are often described as a great base for exploring Bali, offering a comfortable and practical stay without a hefty price tag.

AAnonymous UserWhen I arrived, I was fortunate that there was a lady near reception to help with check in. When I was checking out, I had to go upstairs to find someone. I also had to go upstairs to request for hair dryer as it wasn't provided in the room. The WhatsApp number provided for any requests was useless as I couldn't call or message the number and had to keep going upstairs. I think that is really not good as there should always be someone at reception to attend to any requests. The room itself was ok but I saw a lizard and ants at the sink. Cleanliness has room for improvement. The jungle view was not too bad but there was also ant on the floor so I didn't open the door. It would be better if they can also make up the room and clear the rubbish. Location was great though.

GGuest UserGreat hotel. The room is very simple and it is fully correspond to description, I like this honest approach. You have exactly the same as described and you see at photos. The only thing the bad should be a bid more rigid. more accurate the bed base should be rigid. I had to put mattress on floor my second night to sleep normally, because it bends as an arc on this bed base, cause it very soft. But it is not so big deal. The main feature of the hotel is hotel exterior and interior of the lobby and accessible common space, swimming pool and parking all thees make it quite convenient. 24 hours front desk are quite friendly and professional. I would recommend this hotel.

AAnastasiaGI spent 5 nights at Kose Villas Ubud, and this is one of those places where the setting truly shapes half of the experience. Location & vibe Kose Villas sits right in the middle of rice fields—quiet, lush, and instantly calming. It feels like Ubud suddenly switches to “slow living” mode. The views are unquestionable: absolutely beautiful. If you’re coming for serenity and scenery, this is exactly why you’d stay here. Important note about the access road One thing to keep in mind: getting to the villas involves walking/driving through the rice fields on a narrow path, with a small stream/irrigation canal running alongside. If you’re not a confident rider/driver (especially on a scooter), or if walking is difficult for you, this could be a challenge—particularly in the evening or if you’re carrying heavy luggage. The staff offer a motorbike transfer to and from the main road. I personally walked every time, and it took about 5–7 minutes at a relaxed pace. It’s a lovely walk—just important to know the setup in advance. The room: airy, high ceilings & a glass wall My standard villa felt genuinely nice: high ceilings, lots of space, and one full glass wall that makes the room feel even more open. I had a unit with a garden view and a small kitchen. I didn’t cook at all, but having a fridge was truly convenient (water, fruit, snacks—anything you want to keep for the next morning). There’s also a kettle, but oddly the only option provided was instant coffee sachets—no tea (a small detail, but in Ubud it feels like tea should be a given). Bathroom & shower The bathroom and shower are standard and fine. The only thing I noticed: the “hot” water felt slightly lukewarm, even at the maximum setting. It didn’t bother me—since the weather was hot, a cooler shower actually felt refreshing. But if you love a truly hot shower, it’s something to note (and perhaps for the hotel to check). What disappointed me A few things kept this from feeling like a fully polished villa stay: • No hair dryer—at all. I asked at reception, and it turns out the hotel simply doesn’t have hair dryers. For this type of stay, that’s a surprising and inconvenient omission. • Not enough lighting in the evening. During the day it’s bright and beautiful, but once the sun sets the room feels quite dim—there aren’t enough lamps for a comfortable evening (reading, working, getting ready). • “Shared” pool, but not really. I was a bit confused to learn the shared pool isn’t shared across the whole property, but only for two units (1 and 2). The place also seemed quite empty during my stay, yet I still wasn’t offered access to the pool. Not a huge deal, but it did feel like a service/communication gap. Overall Overall, I left with a positive impression, mostly thanks to the location: rice fields, quiet, gorgeous views, and a real sense of privacy. It’s a great place for a reset—slow mornings, nature all around, and that “Ubud green” backdrop. That said, if the hotel wants to consistently earn a higher rating, it should improve a few basics: provide hair dryers, add better lighting, communicate more clearly about the pool, and possibly check the water temperature.

AAnonymous UserStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.
