"Overall is a good stay for the bargain price I received from Trip.
the people at the hotel was good, not as much with the restaurant in the rooftop at the beginning of, perhaps they just think I would run off without paying. :-) they are fine eventually when they saw I regularly there in the afternoon to chill with a coffee.
Best part is the rooftop garden, though food better at the front restaurant. Worst part is the room has no window, for someone like me it feels like I had been into an underground bunker with wonderful place to sleep.
The alleyway smells of smoke of cigarette, I guess some people insisted to smoke in the corridor eventhoug it said no smoking floor.
the water was not hot or the heater didn't work the first night I was there, although it then work.
over all, great place to rest at night or when you are tired as you definitely not able to hear anything as the door closed, but the rooftop is extraordinaire for sunset and afternoon chiils and the life music in the front restaurant were amazing."

"Better than Hilton Garden Inns back home in China. The location is super convenient, really close to the airport, but surprisingly quiet. Plus, there are tons of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The hotel facilities are great, especially the huge swimming pool. The restaurant is open all day, and the gym is genuinely spacious. The only minor downside is that the spa is no longer available."

"Stayed in the family room for 13 nights with my husband, with breakfast included. Plenty of space to move around, Very clean. Great aircon 2 in the room. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good plenty of options to choose from. Booked a standard room on last day due to late flight. It was a lot smaller only enough room to walk around the bed. Very clean and cosy if your only there to sleep. Water pressure is great. Only downside theres no pool. At $36 a night for family room and $19 a night for standard and $4.50 for breakfast its a fantastic budget option. Will probably stay again. 15mins walk to kuta beach, 10mins to Legion, 15mins walk to Trans studio was great."

Room : Room are New with nice decorations. Bed and Pillows are very comfy. 4 bottle of water provided. Bathroom amenities are good.Btw, bathroom room step can be an issue for elder, high step to get into the bathroom !
Check in / check out during busy hour might take a bit long as only 2 guest service counter .. but the staff try to manage ad fast as they can.
Cons: stayed in bld C , we can smell food in the room from butcher shop in G floor in the evening ... not sure why .."

"My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights, and while we had some challenges, the staff made a huge difference.
The Good:
• Mr. Deta: A massive thank you to Mr. Deta for his incredible hospitality. He was so friendly and supportive throughout our entire stay!
• The Rooftop: The absolute highlight. It’s a fantastic place to chill, grab a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere.
The Not-So-Good:
• The Facilities: The gym is very small—fine for a quick stretch, but not much else.
• Weather/Maintenance: It rained almost every day, and unfortunately, rainwater leaked through our window and onto the floor. It made the room quite uncomfortable for a while.
The Recovery:
The hotel team was professional about the leak. They moved us to a different room for our final night, which we really appreciated.
Summary: A great spot for the social vibe and the service, but the building could use some maintenance to handle the heavy rain better!"

"Stayed at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali recently and honestly had a really nice experience.
The service here is what stood out first — the staff are genuinely warm and helpful, not in a forced hotel way but in a very natural, Balinese hospitality kind of way. Check-in was smooth and throughout the stay everyone was attentive and friendly.
We booked a pool access room and I’d highly recommend doing that if you can. Being able to step straight from the room into the pool made it feel a bit more private and relaxing, especially in the mornings or late afternoon.
The room itself was spacious with a big comfy bed, and the minibar being refilled daily (included) was a great bonus that you don’t always get elsewhere.
Breakfast was another highlight — lots of variety, good quality food, and enough options that it didn’t feel repetitive even after a few days.
Overall, really solid stay. Comfortable, great service, and good value for what you get. Would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Bali."

"I have always enjoyed my stay at Lloyd's Inn. I even booked for my parents to stay in wherever we are in Bali. Room service have been constantly spot on, the room is always refreshed whenever we come back. Did not take the food as we aimed to trying food outside instead so no comments there.
The reason I gave a 4 star in facilities as every visit back to Lloyd's Inn, constantly having faucet issues. Water doesn't flow down in sink well, sometimes stuck and recently water temperature is not hot but only manage to be rectified on Day 3. I hope the next round I come back it would not have anymore of this issues.
Oh yes, my mother enjoyed her spa. Thank you so much again for the experience here."

AAdriana QuintelaThis was one of the best stays we’ve had throughout our family travels. The hotel is very well located, offering beautiful, modern facilities, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive.
The rooms are comfortable and equipped with all the amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The pools are clean, well maintained, and supervised by lifeguards, which gave us great peace of mind travelling with children.
The kids’ club truly exceeded our expectations. Our children (aged 4 and 8) constantly asked to go back! There are two different kids’ club areas and a fantastic range of activities including duckling feeding, football, arts and crafts, musical chairs — and their absolute favourite: marshmallows by the beach. There is also a well-maintained and supervised water park, which was a big highlight.
We also loved that bikes are available to rent for the whole family, allowing you to ride along the beachfront path past neighbouring hotels. Our only suggestion would be to offer baby seats for bicycles to accommodate younger children.
Breakfast was extraordinary — a huge variety of fresh, high-quality options catering to all tastes.
Finally, the hotel’s beachfront location is perfect, with several restaurant options nearby.
Overall, a truly memorable stay for our family.

XXixi1569The hotel environment is beautiful, like a royal garden, and the beach is fantastic with very clear water. The hotel's kid's club also offers a rich variety of activities, perfect for families.
The downside is that the rooms are a bit dated, and the duvet cover wasn't very clean. When I needed help and messaged the 'what's up' customer service, they first asked for my room number and then told me they couldn't assist, which was disappointing. However, other staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast wasn't tasty, and the fruit wasn't very fresh.

GGuest UserWe will never stay with the Stones again as we paid the upgrade for the premium stones suite that was close to $5,000 Australian. apparently this was the best room with roof top pool and nothing better! We were expecting absolute amazing wow factor especially after bragging to the kids how amazing it was going to be. Were were 2 adults 2 children kids had to sleep on couch and a single bed in the lounge no where to put their clothes so had to live out of suitcase room only had 1 toilet they knew we were bringing out kids and never advised of this situation as when we were previously there a couple of months prior on our own without the kids. were weren’t able to sight the room then as it was occupied! Or would have never didn’t the extra $2500.
This was just the start of our terrible experience. The roof top pool had live wires hanging out and detached from pool light all together didn’t work, which they sent some one to fix it but didn’t was still hanging off. Kids couldn’t use the pool at all. them had to come back and redo it as only had used zip ties to keep it together, the tiles around the apartment were dirty, the door to bathroom was jammed and was hard to open and close when they fixed this the floor was left in a mess with plaster all over the floor and a Stanley knife left behind on the floor when we gave young kids. We also mention one of the buttons in the lift was all pushed in with also live wires (dangerous) the showers and taps only trickled with water noooo pressure at all untill plumber came to fix it! After numerous times of telling then the staircase was old and frail and hanging by old rusted screws and that it was dangerous as not secure. They done nothing about it untill my husband held onto ramp one night coming downstairs and the ramp completely snapped off and he fell down the stairs they had their medical team look over him which luckily was on minor ankle sprain. We no longer could use the pool as was under construction. After continuous complaints to the managers down stairs we spoke to about 5 different ones we demanded a full refund and to move hotel only to be offered a refund only on the $2500 which was the upgrade amount and stay in the same room. Also that the refund would have to take 1-2 months when we had paid on the spot. After only after more complaints and stating we were not leaving without the refund they sent it thru the day we got back to Australia. We also were offered airport transfer when we left! As a major 5 star hotel you would think they would be a lot more accommodating to us and or offer a complimentary drink or dinner or lunch or anything? We were spending $500 roughly at the hotel down stairs by the bar for food and drinks every couple of days also. We then decided to not even use hotel at all and just to sleep! What a waste of money and totally false advertising! Do not pay or stay in this room if your expectation ultimate luxury because it was definitely not! We are world travelers , from koi Samui, Maldives Thailand Bali 15 times at least and also in Europe, Portugal Spain and many more country’s and have never once been treated like this!

Yesterday my son accidentally dropped his sunglasses somewhere in the hotel.
To our surprise,
the team managed to find it and returned it to us today. 😄🕶️
Really appreciate the honesty and professionalism of the staff here.
We were also offered a complimentary late check-out until 3PM as a one-time benefit after registering for their Unity Membership.
We changed rooms around 12PM to another room,
so the extra few hours made the transition much more comfortable and relaxing for our family. ❤️
Another nice surprise was:

The hotel atmosphere is great for families,
the location is convenient,
and the overall experience has been very enjoyable so far.

Main Pool closes at....4pm ! ,: reason: they must set up tables for dinner, very strange..You can feel how owner is looking to make money without caring about his guest's needs ! The other 2 pools( far,up the hill) close at 6pm ! Also strange when guests are spending holidays...Check in, never before 1 om ...and check out at 10 am , also very strange when breakfast finishes at 10.30 ! I would never recommend this hotel for its prices ! Even his deck restaurant is selling sunset without sunset at all !!

JJiatingdongliangnvshiAtmosphere: We booked a tower sea view room and got a fantastic location. Although we could still see excavators from the construction site, a quick turn revealed an unbeatable ocean view! It was also very quiet at night, with no disturbances.
Facilities: The hotel has many pools, especially the big water slide, which kept the kids happy all day. Adults can enjoy it too! For non-swimmers, remember to bring your own swim rings.
Hygiene: The room's hygiene was excellent, and cleaning was prompt. However, ordering food by the pool attracted a swarm of flies 🫣 which was a bit annoying while eating.
Service: Ms. Laudy, who checked us in, was wonderful. She had a sweet smile and even gave us lollipops 🍭. During our stay, my child lost their hat, and the concierge staff helped us find it, which we greatly appreciate!
Also, the hotel's evening Barong dance performance was truly spectacular! And the Bali BBQ buffet was great 👍

WWooSeaHad an absolutely amazing stay at Sol with my wife and friends. Exactly what you would hope for from a smaller all inclusive resort.
The staff were incredible, welcoming and warm every minute of the day. The food was varied enough to stay exciting over a 6 night stay and there were always activities if you wanted to venture away from your lounger.
A very special shout out to all of the pool bar-staff who were more than happy to adapt to requests for more/less/or completely different recipes for drinks. And an even specialer thank you to “Ar” who patiently hosted some wonderful art//cocktail activities.
We’re all in our 30s and (on average) younger than most other guests but we really had an absolute ball!

Excellent location. Right on a main street with countless bars and restaurants nearby. Very convenient for walking around the area. It is a busy street, but every street here is busy, so it’s expected. We felt very safe throughout our stay. Motorbike parking available and 24-hour reception.

Smooth and efficient for both check-in and check-out. Staff were friendly and helpful — they assisted us with a SIM card issue at reception.

The room was bright, airy, and very clean. We had a balcony on the 5th floor (top floor) overlooking the pool, which had a beautiful view. Housekeeping was excellent — they made up the room every day. Strong air conditioning, comfortable bed, and good lighting.

Really clean and well-maintained. Toiletries were provided and water bottles were replenished daily.

It’s because I communicated with that worker. The worker didn‘t know English. He wanted to use a telephone translator to communicate with me. I was just asking him a very simple question, that is, when can I fill up the pool of water? He didn’t seem to understand. Facilities: What surprised me about the facilities is that it has a 24-hour fitness room and a treasure drink. In addition, it has a beach chair with sun umbrellas and a view of the sea by the pool. EElbogdLocation: The ocean and beach are just across the road, the shopping center is about a 10-minute walk, and various street food spots are a 3-minute walk away.
Room: I had a wonderful Alam villa – a huge space with an endless woven ceiling and a large terrace. The bathroom was uniquely designed: partly indoors and partly open-air. Everything felt very traditionally Balinese: lush greenery, a stone bathtub, and floral green robes. It was cleaned every day.
Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly. I forgot my key a couple of times, and they replaced it. In the mornings, they even let me make traditional flower paintings on the water.
I initially booked the hotel for a couple of nights but ended up staying for a whole week!
