"Great hotel. The room is very simple and it is fully correspond to description, I like this honest approach. You have exactly the same as described and you see at photos. The only thing the bad should be a bid more rigid. more accurate the bed base should be rigid. I had to put mattress on floor my second night to sleep normally, because it bends as an arc on this bed base, cause it very soft. But it is not so big deal. The main feature of the hotel is hotel exterior and interior of the lobby and accessible common space, swimming pool and parking all thees make it quite convenient. 24 hours front desk are quite friendly and professional. I would recommend this hotel."

"I had a wonderful stay at Lloyd Bali Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an upgraded room that came with a spacious bathtub and a serene garden view, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The front officers were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the safety guards were always polite and reassuring, making me feel well-taken care of from the moment I arrived. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely return."

"This was my second stay at this hotel, and it remains a great choice. Its prime location, just a short ride from the airport and close to Kuta Beach, is a major plus. You can also easily walk to the Beachwalk Shopping Centre. Unfortunately, we couldn’t book a SPA session again, as the next available slot was a week away due to high demand. The breakfast, however, continues to impress with its quality and variety."

"The hotel was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were kind and very friendly. However, during breakfast, I asked the male chef for an omelet near the end of service time, and he seemed irritated. When I spoke to him, he snapped “Huh?!” at me in a loud voice and then ignored me afterward, which was quite unpleasant. Aside from that, the food quality was good for the price, and I was satisfied overall. The location was excellent — close to a shopping mall, market, and the beach. As for amenities, there were no razors, hairbrushes, or conditioner, and the hair dryer was very weak, but considering the low price, it was understandable."

"Great location. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathtub was spacious enough for two. I loved it and would definitely stay again! Excellent value for money. The only downside was the lack of dining options nearby. Also, the pool had too many fallen leaves and could use better cleaning."

"The staff were great and very accommodating as I checked in. I had selected the wrong date on my booking but they managed to find me a room and fix the booking even though they were fully booked. I was so grateful. The location was very Central and perfect to walk on the beach or to the mall. Delicious breakfast 🍳🥞"

It was spacious, beautifully designed, and featured all the amenities I could ask for. The highlight for me was the very Bali style bathtub. "If you bring your own cushions, sunshade umbrellas & sunloungers with you this is still a great resort. We have stayed at Sanur Resort several times since it opened 11 years ago however this stay was disappointing. There were no cushions on our balcony chairs & most of the day beds around the pool had no cushions. Which made them unusable. The front reception staff were very grumpy. We did not experience their usual warm, friendly welcome like we have experienced in the past. They appear very unhappy. Everyday we would ask the front reception desk staff for a ticket for the beach beds & every day they would tell us it was fully booked. After pleading with the staff to please give us a ticket, they would reluctantly give us a ticket & every time we went to the beach there was availability. We don't understand why the front reception staff made it so hard? It was stressful. The attendant at the beach is so lovely & friendly. He along with Uncle Conceirge gave the signature happy Sanur Swissbel Watu Jimbar interactions that we remember and have kept us returning many times. This year there was a severe shortage of sunshade umbrellas for the sun loungers near the pool. We were unable to get a sun lounger in the shade by the pool on any day during our stay. The resort urgently needs to invest in more sunshade umbrellas, sunloungers & cushions. I never leave bad reviews, but I feel I need to let other guests know what to expect. I did report our issues to the grumpy front reception staff & they said a Manager would contact me, however the Manager never contacted me during our stay. I feel sad our favourite resort in Sanur has changed."

What’s Great: Prime Location – Right on the beach, next to a mall, and across from Waterbom. You can’t get much closer to the action. Beautiful Views – Many rooms offer breathtaking ocean views, making your stay even more relaxing. Good Breakfast Spread – A mix of local and international options, including live egg and pancake stations. Friendly Staff – The service is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. What’s Not So Great: Not Disability-Friendly – Accessibility is a big issue; the resort was not built with mobility-impaired guests in mind. Room Service Issues – Only available until 10 PM, and hot food is served in soft paper boxes without plates—not the best experience. Limited Milk Options – No oat or almond milk at breakfast, which is surprising for a resort of this caliber. Extra Charges for Water – Being charged for additional water refills is an unnecessary downside. Final Verdict: Bali Garden Beach Resort offers a solid 4-star experience with a fantastic location, views, and friendly staff. However, accessibility issues, room service quality, and minor inconveniences prevent it from being a true 5-star stay. If you're looking for a well-located beachfront stay in Kuta and can overlook the small drawbacks, this resort is still a great choice."
