"The Adina is in the heart of the CBD. Just round the corner from the main shopping area and opposite the casino and sky walk.  The greeting when we arrived was warm and welcoming and the spent no time at all getting us checked in and up to our rooms. The studio was beautiful, the entry way had the bathroom to the right and down 3 steps was the bedroom and kitchen facilities. We were Lucy enough to be overlooking the park and could not fault the room set up.  The bed was massive and so comfortable. Plenty of sitting space and very well equiped with iron, ironing board, coffee machine etc.  Check out was seamless and I would highly recommend a stay here"

"The one bedroom apartment is reasonably sized and had a balcony looking out over other apartments and the river. The bedroom also had a balcony. With bathroom a modern and there was no kitchen facilities. Only a fridge and kettle. If you need to use a microwave, you need to go the the basement and use one in the laundry. The outside pool and pool furniture is great and the roof top restaurant and bar has amazing city and river views. The staff are very friendly. There is a carpark under the hotel with easy access to your apartment floor."

"It was a really good hostel to stay at, you had curtains and the beds were clean. Also gad a plug right next to your bed. The only thing bothering me was the fact that the storage space was right above your legs. When I’m sleeping im changing positions a lot and my knees tended to hit the storage space above. It’s a very inconvenient place to have that box there"

"Hotel location: Super convenient, right outside is George Square and Queen Street. You can even see the clock tower of the square from your room. Truly irreplaceable. Hardware facilities: The space isn't huge, but the facilities are quite complete. Although it's an old hotel, the cleanliness is still good. Service: We stayed for 2 nights and noticed there was only one bottle of milk. We told the staff, and they immediately brought a whole pack, which was great. However, the bathroom fan was broken. We called maintenance, and they came to look at it but couldn't fix it on the spot, saying they'd come back the next afternoon. But when we returned to our room late the next evening, it still wasn't fixed, and we weren't informed why. This needs improvement."

"The staff went above and beyond to help us when we arrived in Brisbane at 4am yesterday. Only flaws are the lack of aircon on the other side of the dorm, and requiring a passport number, but all was ok in the end. We met a fellow teddy mummy and Cuddly and I made a new friend!"

"Price: Around 200 AUD per night, including breakfast. Facilities: Quite new, with smart features similar to other Australian hotels. The amenities match the price point. There's a free sauna, a gym (with a squat rack, dumbbells, kettlebells, various cardio equipment, and showers), and a swimming pool (water quality was good, but I didn't go in). Cleanliness: Excellent, the bedding was also very clean. Location: Close to Central Station, and the surrounding area feels very safe. Service: Breakfast, which would normally cost over 30 AUD, is a buffet with everything you'd expect. You can also order eggs à la carte (regular ones are free, special ones cost a few extra AUD), which is a great deal. The amenity delivery and room service were also good."

"The Meriton Hotel's location isn't convenient at all. Walking back from the CBD means going through a park and then up a hill, which isn't a pleasant stroll. Parking is a major drawback and a huge hassle. Street parking is only free after 7 PM, and during the day, it's an exorbitant AU$6.50 per hour. The hotel's own parking costs AU$25 per day, but the underground garage design is terrible – narrow ramps and numerous pillars make it very easy to scrape your car. It's especially unsuitable for Chinese new drivers who are visiting Australia for the first time and driving right-hand drive cars to navigate the basement. Even the spots closest to the elevator are often empty because they require backing in. If your car isn't fully insured, I strongly advise against parking here. Car repairs in Australia are incredibly expensive; even a minor scrape could cost more than your entire trip. This is definitely the biggest downside and the most unrecommended aspect of this hotel. If you're looking to explore Brisbane city and want convenient transport and parking, there's absolutely no need to choose this hotel. You'd be much better off picking a hotel in the suburbs not far from the city, which will offer far better value and convenience."
