"The front desk staff were incredibly kind and patient, making the check-in process quick and hassle-free. Since we drove, they even proactively offered us a parking voucher. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, with every detail taken care of and no corner missed. The entire room was well-ventilated, dry, and odor-free, and the zero-pressure mattress ensured a restful sleep. The breakfast buffet on the first floor was delicious, and the laundry room on the third floor was fully equipped. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the subway, and the courtyard is elegant and quiet. The service everywhere felt so warm and thoughtful! Highly recommended! 👏"

"The moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt very welcomed. The front desk staff, a lovely lady, was super enthusiastic and upgraded our room type for us. She even gave us some small gifts, fruits, and coffee. The best part is that the hotel also offers free laundry service, which is incredibly thoughtful! 😄 The hotel breakfast was also very diverse with many Hangzhou specialty items. A staff member named Xiaohai was very warm and helpful, introducing us to the local breakfast options. When she found out we were heading home after breakfast, she even gave us some small fruits to take with us. We were so happy!"

"This hotel is a guesthouse converted from a villa complex, sharing the space with original residents. Security guards check your booking details upon entry, so Didi and food deliveries aren't an issue. There's a tea garden, so the outdoor environment feels quite pleasant. However, the rooms are average and on the small side. While there's an outdoor balcony, there are too many mosquitoes, so we hardly dared to open the door. On the last night, there were mosquitoes in the room, keeping me awake, and the mosquito repellent essential oil wasn't very effective. There were welcome fruits (common fruits, not really to my taste) and afternoon tea (two drinks + a few small cakes), which was significantly less impressive than what others received. There's also a private hot spring experience, but I wasn't interested so I didn't go. Breakfast lacked noodle soups, wontons, and similar items; the variety of food was quite limited. For a price of 700-800, I generally feel it's not good value for money. When checking out, I messaged the butler on WeChat about the issues, and they later arranged to send some local souvenirs as a consolation.
I didn't take many photos of the room as there was nothing special about it; I only photographed the lotus flowers and snacks I bought myself."

"The room itself is typical Marriott style, but the location is absolutely stunning. It's right next to the Qiantang River, and you can walk to the riverside in just three minutes. The environment is incredibly beautiful, with all those iconic landmarks directly across the river. It's a popular spot for many people to visit. I definitely recommend it. The river view from the room is gorgeous."

Excellent
GGuest UserMy expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular.
The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite.
The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent.
Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.
TTinyjhThis hotel is quite unique and in a great location. It's pretty smart, allowing for face recognition check-in for the entire stay. The room comes with makeup remover wipes, toner, lotion, and cream. The lobby is spacious and bright, and it's very close to Hangzhou High-Speed Railway Station, making it easy to catch a taxi. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance. They also offer a self-service breakfast and late-night snack. If you're booking a room, ask for Wang Yue; she's very enthusiastic.

Excellent
GGuest UserThe hotel is small but exquisite, with a serene and elegant Japanese Zen garden. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the private hot spring baths are wonderfully relaxing and therapeutic. The amenities are refined and comprehensive. The butler service is thoughtful and attentive, making the check-in experience feel truly special. The food is fresh and delicious, and the 'nine-grid' breakfast is quite unique.
LLililililiThe hotel's design and landscaping are absolutely top-notch, truly living up to its reputation as 'Hangzhou's Little Kyoto.' The cleaning staff are meticulous, warm, and polite. There's a hydration station on every floor, and the complimentary bottled water is a nice touch. Breakfast offers a decent variety; it's not spectacular, but it's perfectly adequate for a typical staycation. The mosquito repellent provided in the room is thoughtful, and if the occupancy isn't too high, you have a good chance of getting a room upgrade.
Now for the downsides. There are far too many people taking photos at the hotel entrance and in the lobby, most of whom aren't even staying guests, which makes it feel a bit chaotic. Service is practically non-existent; no one opened the car door or helped with luggage upon arrival. I added the butler's WeChat, but for any request, I was still told to call the front desk (I had already checked out and contacted the butler for an invoice, but was told to call the front desk using a room phone? Invoices can only be issued after checkout, surely that's common sense?). So, what's the point of having a butler? For a hotel where even the basic rooms cost over a thousand yuan, this butler service feels quite perplexing.

JJasonlinllllFacilities: The hardware facilities are quite good, and the overall maintenance is excellent.
Environment: It occupies the entire Xianshan Peninsula, making it very suitable for guests who prefer peace and quiet. It's closer to nature, away from the city's hustle and bustle. The scenery is beautiful, whether it's sunny or rainy.
Cleanliness: Very good. Housekeeping arrived to clean the room daily while we were at breakfast, which was efficient.
Service: A butler contacted us the day before check-in. This time, our butler was Evie, and her service was incredibly attentive and detailed throughout. She explained activities, provided daily activity reminders and weather alerts, and even helped us book in-room dining. Her responses were always very prompt. She truly deserves special praise.
This hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway. We mostly just lounged in the room. Although we didn't participate in many activities, simply strolling around the hotel grounds and listening to the rain on the balcony was incredibly relaxing and therapeutic.
It gets a bit busier on weekends, probably because it's summer break and many families come with children. Weekdays are much quieter. The breakfast restaurant can get crowded during peak hours on Sunday mornings, requiring a bit of a wait.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at Banyan Tree and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a two-bedroom villa. The villa was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and a memorable experience.
The breakfast was excellent, and we particularly appreciated the effort made to accommodate our strict vegetarian dietary requirements. The buggy services were consistently prompt and efficient.
The resort’s location amidst the wetlands provides a unique and tranquil natural setting, though some guests may find it slightly secluded.
Communication through WeChat was smooth and responsive. We would also like to especially commend Samiksha, the intern, and the dining team member who spoke both English and Chinese fluently. Their attentiveness and willingness to help significantly enhanced our experience.
As areas for improvement, the swimming pool water could have been warmer, and the addition of facilities such as a sauna or jacuzzi would further elevate the guest experience.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable and well-managed stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality of the team.
ZZhaiKHygiene: The hotel's hygiene is excellent and very clean, the room was spotless.
Environment: The overall hotel environment is good, the lobby/restaurant area is very comfortable, and the spa environment is particularly great – a wonderful experience! The only slight downside was that our room, a 'Wu You' room, had a view directly facing a row of small dolphin and duck boats in the park, which wasn't very appealing.😅
Service: The service was generally excellent. The butler was very responsive and thoughtfully prepared the room's decor. The hotel's refreshments were good. It would have been an even better experience if they had proactively contacted guests earlier.
Facilities: All the facilities were well-equipped, and they provided airport drop-off service. The food was also delicious.
TTritohRoom is spacious with super king bed (2super single joined). Bed is comfortable. No noise issue. Late check out was provided till 2pm but was extended till 6pm after feedback on the room lighting and aircon not working early morning.
Nearest metro is Pengbu station, many restaurants.
Just don’t deliver your Taobao parcel to hotel, items will be delivered to a locker nearby. Front desk was helpful to check with Taobao delivery man and request a return and refund although item was delivered to hotel but front desk didn’t acknowledge on behalf while I am out

Very Good
ZZemoZemorIt's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud.
Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues.
The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad.
The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.
MMaiMai LamThe self-service vending machine next to the elevator on the first floor is incredibly practical; I suggest moving it to a more prominent spot in the lobby to make it even more convenient for guests. The food delivery robot was efficient and quick, and the breakfast selection was extensive. It would be even better if breakfast hours could be extended until 10:30 AM. The in-room Dyson hairdryer was fantastic, and the air conditioning was very comfortable. When there was noise interference from municipal repairs downstairs at night, the duty manager, Robber, responded quickly and handled the situation very effectively. As a classic luxury hotel brand, the Grand Hyatt's end-to-end service consistently maintains a genuinely warm core. It has retained its high standards over the years, and the service depth and professionalism of such a well-established hotel are simply irreplaceable. An old Ferrari is still a Ferrari, after all!
