When we checked out, they helped us call a taxi and assisted with loading our luggage into the car. We absolutely have to give the front desk team a five-star rating! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Their service was warm and thorough, with attention to detail evident everywhere, making our entire trip feel exceptionally comfortable and welcoming. Connected to the lobby lounge, it provides guests the option to dine in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere in the courtyard. "I brought my mother to Hangzhou, and we chose to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel. This hotel left a very deep impression on me and created many interesting memories. **Service:** Before arriving, I had considered canceling my Four Seasons reservation, partly because the previous hotel we stayed at was so incredibly comfortable. It had unbeatable views, excellent service, and was only a fifth of the price of the Four Seasons... Later, a Four Seasons staff member called me, rekindling my interest in the trip. Upon arrival, the Four Seasons' service certainly did not disappoint. The lobby supervisor knelt down to speak with us (as we were seated on a low sofa) and carried our luggage all the way to our room. During our stay, they helped us book a travel photoshoot and a reservation at Jin Sha restaurant, among other services. They also drove us around the Four Seasons garden in a lovely little red car, satisfying our curiosity as guests. In the evening, when we went out, a young man from the lobby even gave me mosquito repellent and reminded us to use it. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and always accommodated our requests. Every time we returned, the room was neat and tidy, thank you all very much! The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the 'teacher' of Song Dynasty culture. She was responsible for demonstrating tea brewing and calligraphy to guests. The hotel supervisor said this experience didn't require an appointment and was first-come, first-served. I arrived with my 70-year-old mother at 3:05 PM, and she shooed us away, saying she had an appointment at 3:30 PM... Huh? Wasn't it first-come, first-served? Why would she shoo guests away? After we insisted, she reluctantly agreed, then rushed through the demonstration in about 9 minutes. Her service attitude was a complete opposite to that of the hotel's other staff. **Ambiance:** The environment is exquisite and clean, a luxurious blend of American and Chinese styles. We were very interested in the hotel's architecture, for example, where did those massive wooden beams come from? How were they pieced together? Unfortunately, the hotel didn't provide any related information or explanations. **Facilities:** The use of solid marble and wood is impressive. Although built in 2010, the quality is still excellent. The rooms have smart toilets with heated seats, unlike the cold seats at the West Lake State Guest House. The bathtub is very comfortable with an integrated headrest, and dried chrysanthemum flowers are provided for bathing in the summer. The SPA facilities are very comprehensive, with a layout resembling an alchemy chamber from a cultivation novel. A small stream runs beneath thick stone slabs, with massage rooms on both sides. The heavy iron door leads to a private area complete with a toilet, shower, and hot spring pool, offering excellent privacy. The dim sum lunch at Jin Sha restaurant, the crispy chicken, and the West Lake sweet and sour fish were especially delicious! My mother particularly loved the sweet and sour fish and even finished all the sauce. Breakfast was decent but unremarkable. The space was too small, and the flow for getting food was very poorly designed. Everyone had to queue in the corridor to get dishes, which felt unrefined and lacked the grandeur expected of a luxury hotel. It didn't match the hotel's prestige, and I suggest improvements. Overall, we were satisfied. If 100 is a perfect score, we'd give it a 95."

Grand Hyatt Hangzhou’s seven exceptional dining venues provide a culinary experience like no other, highlighted by creative menus featuring a variety of both global and local cuisines. For guests seeking moments of relaxation, HUAN Spa & Fitness Center is a self-contained resort that reopened in 2019 within the hotel featuring an 82-foot-long heated indoor pool with a skylight ceiling, pool bar and stunning lake views. Guests can also workout on the latest cardio and strength training machines, as well as Power Plate platforms and TRX trainers, in the fitness center open 24-hours a day.

"I've visited Hangzhou many times, and each time, I only stay at the Grand Hyatt. It always amazes me how checking out never takes more than two minutes there! Just as I stepped out the main entrance recently, a manager rushed out after me and said: ”Madam, I've noticed you're a frequent guest whenever you're back in China. I'm very sorry that a couple of days ago, there was a slight delay in delivering the amenities you requested.” (Honestly, it was perfectly understandable – I was about to head out at the time, and even though it was delivered a bit late, I didn't say anything. In fact, I even smiled and thanked them for their effort; I hadn't even given it a second thought myself!) Me: ”Wow, that's incredibly thoughtful of you! It was something I hadn't even paid attention to. May I ask for your name?” He then handed me his business card and told me to contact him anytime before my next visit. Every time I visit Hangzhou, I only stay at the Grand Hyatt. It's truly the only hotel that feels like a home away from home whenever I'm back in the country. Although the hotel has been around for some years, and despite both being international brands, I personally feel that compared to the somewhat mechanized service at hotels of the Ritz-Carlton caliber, Grand Hyatt Hangzhou offers a more personalized, human touch without sacrificing its high standards. The doormen always greet guests with a genuine, gentlemanly smile when opening the car door. A local friend always suggests I try other hotels in the city for a different experience, but with such consistently excellent service from the Grand Hyatt, I simply can't bring myself to stay anywhere else!"

"## 1. Location & Transportation The hotel is housed in Hangzhou's iconic 'Big Golden Ball' landmark (Raffles City), boasting unparalleled panoramic views of the Qiantang River! It's a mere 5-minute walk to Citizen Center Station on Metro Line 4, a 15-minute taxi ride to West Lake, and 20 minutes to Hangzhou East Railway Station. With Raffles City and MixC Mall right next door, it's incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. However, traffic can get quite heavy around the area during evening rush hour, so taking the metro is highly advisable. ## 2. Room Facilities & Hygiene I stayed in a River View King Room this time. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of the Olympic Sports Center, and the night view was absolutely breathtaking! The facilities, while not brand new, are exceptionally well-maintained: the mattress was perfectly comfortable – neither too soft nor too firm, there was a separate bathtub and shower, and the toiletries were Byredo's 'Mojave Ghost' (a very sophisticated scent). Hygiene was impeccable, with attention to every detail – even the glass windows were spotless, not a single fingerprint in sight."

Hotel near West Lake Lakeside Area,Hangzhou
Zhejiang Media Hotel, affiliated to Zhejiang Radio and Television Group, is a four-star hotel that integrates guest rooms, conferences, catering, tourism and business. It is located in the core business district of Hangzhou city center - Hubin Commercial Center, adjacent to the West Lake and 50 meters away. The Hubin Pedestrian Street, one of the "first batch of national demonstration pedestrian streets" in Hangzhou, is just across the road. West Lake Musical Fountain, Kerry Center, Federation of Trade Unions CC, Hubin In77 high-end bustling neighborhood and other landmark scenic buildings are within easy reach, and it is close to Metro Line 1 Longlong. Xiangqiao Station, Fengqi Road Station on Metro Line 2, take the subway to Qianjiang New Town, the "business card of Hangzhou's new city", for about half an hour to watch the light show. Transportation, entertainment, and shopping are all very convenient. The atmosphere of the hotel rooms is comfortable and warm, highlighting the charm of Jiangnan. The Xiangyue Western Restaurant on the second floor provides Chinese and Western buffets, exquisite coffee and refreshments; the Haolaiwu Chinese Restaurant on the seventh floor offers Jiangnan specialties and 11 luxurious boxes with unique Cantonese film and television cultural characteristics. The hotel has a self-service laundry room, a gym, beauty SPA, hairdressing center, and chess and card room.

"Choosing Media Hotel for my Hangzhou trip this time was definitely the right decision! **Unbeatable Location:** The hotel is right next to in77, super close to West Lake. It's just a five-minute walk to Hubin Pedestrian Street, making it incredibly convenient to stroll back after catching the musical fountain show in the evening. Both bus and subway stations are nearby, so there's no need to take a long detour to visit attractions like Lingyin Temple and Longjing Village. This was a huge plus for us travelers with luggage. **Comfortable Rooms:** The room was incredibly comfortable. We booked a 'Selected Twin Room,' but the hotel kindly upgraded us to a 'Deluxe Twin Room.' Waking up to the sunlight streaming in after drawing the curtains in the morning was absolutely delightful. While not overly spacious, the room was spotless and well-maintained. The bedding had just the right level of firmness, and after two nights, I felt perfectly rested. The shower water heated up quickly and the water pressure was excellent – something I truly appreciate when staying away from home. **Thoughtful Service:** The service was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk staff proactively offered maps and suggested less-traveled routes, which was a refreshing change from hotels that just give vague directions. When I forgot my charger, room service promptly delivered one to my room without even asking for a deposit – it made me feel really cared for. While the breakfast selection wasn't spectacular, it did offer local specialties like Pian'er Chuan noodles and Dingsheng pastry, which was a nice opportunity to try some local flavors. The only minor drawback might be that it's an older building, so the elevators occasionally required a short wait. However, the overall value for money is excellent, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Hangzhou."

"My family really enjoys staying at Junteng, so when I came to Dalianhua for a concert this time, it was my first choice. The location is pretty good, at the intersection of two subway lines, about a 3-minute walk from the station exit. There's a FamilyMart downstairs, but it's not 24/7, closing at 10 PM. The room was exactly as pictured, very spacious and clean, and I even got a free upgrade, which was great! Just a minor suggestion, the smart toilet seat area was a bit small, but everything else was perfect. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

GGuest UserWe made a last-minute detour to Hangzhou with our child for a night, visiting West Lake and Lingyin Temple. This hotel was the most delightful surprise of our trip. Despite being a spontaneous booking, our stay far exceeded expectations, easily on par with a five-star hotel. The hotel lobby is grand and impressive. The front desk kindly upgraded our room and even gave our child a welcome gift. Upon entering the room, we were greeted by a faint, pleasant fragrance, and complimentary fruit was also provided. The room was dry and well-ventilated; the windows could be opened for fresh air but came with safety catches, which is a big plus for allergy sufferers. The duvet and pillows had a subtle down scent, felt crisp and dry, indicating the bedding was relatively new. The bathroom was spotless and featured a smart toilet. What was particularly thoughtful was the provision of disposable bath liners and toilet seat covers. The attention to detail in their service truly stands out. This will definitely be our go-to hotel for any future visits to Hangzhou.

GGuest UserOur party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024.  We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting.  We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in.  I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops.  Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us.  Not a soul was in sight.  Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed.  From there on, however, things only got better and better.  So, yes, this was a quiet property.  There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about.  But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected.  And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient.  During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out.  The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand.  Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance.  The layout was a bit of a labyrinth.  There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display.  Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake.  The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space.  Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards.  Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?).  They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night.  There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater.  Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds.  Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace.  Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel.  Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular.  We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip).  We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality.  Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable.  In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area.  In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort.  We were very comfortable during our short stay.  We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff.  We would love to return.  It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions.  Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

MMuszs5/5 Stars amazing. We recently enjoyed a long weekend at Minho International Resort, staying in the Deluxe Family Loft. Our group included myself, my wife, my mother-in-law, and our twin children. From the outset, we were impressed by the hotel's exceptional service and facilities. Accommodation and Cleanliness: The hotel room was immaculate, with everything in perfect working order. The housekeeping staff were attentive and ensured our stay was comfortable. Public areas throughout the resort were also well-maintained and spotless. Family-Friendly Amenities: The children's play area offered a variety of activities, providing ample space for our kids to play and explore. We also took advantage of the bike rentals, which allowed us to explore the surrounding area, thanks to the staff's helpful recommendations. The swimming pool and sauna were clean and well-maintained, adding to our relaxation. Evening Entertainment: A standout feature was the water and light show, which provided a mesmerizing end to our evenings. Concierge Service: Our concierge, 管家小汪, was exceptionally helpful, adding us on WeChat to assist with any issues or translation needs we encountered. Dining and Bar Experience: While our overall experience was outstanding, there were a couple of areas for improvement. The breakfast offerings were often cold and oily, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the bar did not use fresh ingredients for cocktails and featured unusual recipes, such as a mojito without mint. The bar area itself was quite cold and offered limited snack options. Despite these minor issues, our stay at Minho International Resort was exceptional. It's undoubtedly one of the best hotels we've experienced, and we highly recommend it. We look forward to returning to explore more of the surrounding area.

AAnonymous UserIt was overall an alright stay, don’t expect Japanese standards. Apparently they had a soft opening period and just opened on April 15. You can see that things aren’t running so smoothly yet, trip.com shows that spa needs to be booked a day in advance, but on WeChat they said no reservations required and we can use anytime. The second day we wanted to use the spa our second time, and was told by a staff we couldn’t use it again, which we were confused about. Later other staff said we could. The spa itself had spectacular views, but the outdoor pool weirdly had half eaten and rotten apples floating around. After talking to the spa staff they said it was for aesthetic purposes and guests must have eaten them without knowing that. Worrying hygiene standards 😨 apart from that overall hygiene seems to be alright. All rooms have our own private courtyard so there are two doors, the main wooden door and then the glass door to our actual room. The main wooden door broke down twice - we couldn’t lock it (more like they didn’t fix the problem fully the first time), which wasted our time as we had to sit around to watch the maintenance staff fixing our door. Breakfast was okay but half the dishes were way too salty for my taste. Weird mix of “Western”, “Japanese” and Chinese dishes. Cheaper to buy on the spot (168 yuan as of today). Service was not up to the standard of a hotel of this price point. The staff welcoming us seems like she was reading from a script, we couldn’t hear half the time even after asking her to enunciate clearer twice. Felt like they were here to monitor us more than take care of us. Instead of “how may I help you?”, they actually responded “what’s wrong?” on two separate occasions. I don’t think this is acceptable! Some staff also do not greet guests properly.

VvvangieThis was my second time staying at the West Lake State Guest House, and Liu Zhuang definitely has a better location than Wang Zhuang. It's also the largest, truly living up to its reputation as the big brother. The strolls through the gardens and along the lake with views are incredibly comfortable. The swimming pool and rooms are both in Building 8, but I didn't realize beforehand that you have to go through the lobby to get there. Walking through the lobby in my swimsuit and robe felt a bit awkward. But what was even more awkward was that after my swim, a staff member told me they'd lost my room key that I'd left with them (they'd given it to another guest by mistake, who couldn't open their door and returned it to the front desk). They then asked me, still in my robe, to go to the front desk to get a new card. Apart from the security risk with the room key, the lack of service recovery for a mistake they made, and then expecting an inconveniently dressed guest to go to the front desk to clean up their mess, is simply not the service standard one would expect from a state guest house.

Ttracy0614The estate's Tang and Song dynasty garden design is said to blend seamlessly with the natural scenery of Xianghu Lake, showcasing a beauty that marries modernity and classicism. It's the perfect escape for a tranquil getaway with friends. **[Ambiance]** The moment you step into the resort, the design of the courtyard plants and water features, combined with the surrounding wooden architecture, perfectly embodies the elegant charm of a classical garden amidst the interplay of light and shadow. The window within the resort, in particular, offers a unique sense of 'tranquility' amidst lush greenery. **[Service]** Before check-in, the hotel proactively addresses guests' needs. When a minor issue arose during an activity class, the front desk quickly communicated and ultimately resolved it to our satisfaction. **[Cleanliness]** We stayed in a lake-view suite, and all facilities were well-maintained. The only minor inconvenience was that the suite was quite a distance from the elevator, so every trip out felt like a workout. **[Facilities]** The hotel offers tea ceremony cultural classes and evening lounge 'tipsy' moments, allowing for a delightful holiday experience. A special shout-out to the hotel breakfast: it features a rich variety of specialty dishes from the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions, primarily Chinese, which is particularly suitable for middle-aged and elderly guests. During our meal, we overheard several elderly guests praising it. I hope the hotel can add more activities and facilities, such as tours around the hotel vicinity or lake cruises, to allow guests to experience the unique beauty of the estate more comprehensively.

EEdward Tanotopros: - gym is super nice - robots for delivering foods and amenities - Cassie the receptionist is limited in English, but sincerely helpful and tried her best to meet our needs. she upgraded our room to have lake view and huge balcony. - breakfast is not as bad as other ppl reviews, its pretty good - room is super nice, super huge, nice interior design - bathroom is huge, toilet is in separated room - water pressure is nice, floor drain is good ( no stagnant water ) - overall hotel design is superb, i love their garden - provide complimentary photography, sorry i forgot the photographers name. - they gave me complimentary fruits basket, milk and pillow menu - the best thing is, all of this only 1.5mil IDR / night. that is how awesome china is. - if youre looking for the best hotel experience, come to china, you will be blown away. this is Wakanda in actual life cons : - location is pretty far from downtown, 15-20mins driving - for dining, honestly the restaurant inside the hotel not that nice imo. i need to go to downtown to look for good food. nearby a bit difficult to look for street food.

Very Good
YYyy1cantFirst, let's talk about the positives. I checked in around 1 PM. The environment was lovely, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic and efficient, allowing me to check in early. The room was perfectly fine, as expected from a brand-name hotel. I must commend the hotel's speaker system – it was JBL (I can't recall the specific model, I'm not an audiophile, but I really appreciate good sound quality). The sound was excellent. For someone like me who listens to music before bed, it was very comfortable. Many brand-name hotels have terrible speaker quality. The overall environment was also great. I also booked a dinner for two that evening. The restaurant on the 26th floor offered absolutely stunning night views – the best I've seen among all the hotels I've stayed at in Hangzhou. Now for the downsides. First, when I checked in, I didn't see anyone to open the door for me or help with my luggage (though it's possible I just missed them). Then, the room itself: while the facilities were good, the overall space felt a bit cramped. And from my room, when I drew back the curtains, there was basically no view – instead, I looked out onto a building undergoing renovation (this might not be a fault if it becomes magnificent when finished, but my immediate impression wasn't great). The most, most, most infuriating point was that I had booked breakfast. I've stayed in so many places, so many five-star hotels from Marriott to Shangri-La to InterContinental, and *none* of them ever prohibited guests from wearing hotel slippers to breakfast! I woke up at 9:20 AM and went down to breakfast at 9:30 AM, only to be very impolitely told by the greeter at the restaurant entrance, 'Our hotel does not allow guests to wear slippers to eat. Please go back and change your shoes.' I was instantly furious. I have never heard such an unreasonable demand. I would like to ask the greeter at the Conrad restaurant: is it an insult to your establishment for me to wear your Conrad hotel's room slippers to breakfast? Or what reason do you have to speak to me so impolitely? Compared to this issue, all other problems are completely negligible. Without this issue, with your hotel's brand standard, four stars or more would be absolutely deserved. I don't know if this is a hotel policy or her own personal rule. If it's a hotel policy, I urge you to seriously consider whether this rule is necessary.

Good
MMoYii have been to the hot springs three times before but I had never stayed at the hotel. This was my first time. I imagine the receptionist felt a little nervous when faced with two foreigners and maybe she felt shy. However, I found her lack of greeting, not a 你好 or 下午好, a little cold. When she did communicate with us, it was in super fast Mandarin to which I requested 请慢慢说 to no avail. She repeated just as fast twice more. I felt frustrated and then resorted to using a translation app. She called over an English-speaking Indonesian staff member. I don’t have the expectation that people will speak English to me, but I do appreciate slowing down in Mandarin and using simpler language. Hand gestures help a lot also. I wish she had told us the WiFi password, and where to access the hot springs. These are two key pieces of information a receptionist should provide when you check into a hot springs hotel. Our room had plastic flip flops to be worn to the hot springs. My pair had two left feet. When I showed the staff member on the second floor, she was helpful and got me a new pair. The hot springs were lovely, as usual. The buffet breakfast was better than the buffet dinner. The layout of the hotel leaves you walking from building to building. At first it’s confusing, but then it becomes okay.
