"Our trip to Mount Emei was incredibly lucky, mainly because we chose the perfect hotel. From check-in to check-out, every detail was a delightful surprise, far exceeding our expectations.
The king-sized room was incredibly reassuring, spacious, and bright, never feeling cramped. The room was decorated in warm, soft tones with gentle lighting. The bathroom featured a bathtub, and the vanity was wide and spotless, stocked with a full range of toiletries.
The breakfast deserves a special mention – it was simply a concentrated feast of Emei Mountain flavors! No more run-of-the-mill dishes; instead, it was packed with local specialties: spicy and savory DIY tofu pudding, soft and non-sticky Ye'er粑 (leaf-wrapped sticky rice cakes), Bobo Chicken, and smoked duck. Beyond these delights, there was a complete spread of hot dishes, pastries, fruits, and drinks. The variety was dazzling, satisfying every palate, ensuring we were well-fed and energized before heading up the mountain.
The hotel's food village was another wonderful surprise. Its courtyard design offered beautiful scenery at every turn, with small bridges and flowing water creating an immersive atmosphere. It was tranquil and elegant, a peaceful escape from the outside hustle. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was also excellent. The staff were warm and genuine, never pushy. For example, the two of us ordered one portion of Emei eel shreds and one 'Three Delicacies' dish, which was perfectly satisfying.
The hot spring area was well-equipped with towels and lockers, and the service was attentive, making for a superb experience. This hotel truly stands out as a thoughtful choice within the scenic area."
