"Amazing inn in a beautiful part of Leshan. It’s behind the Giant Buddha ticket office which means there is no traffic and is very peaceful, but you’re still just a few minutes in a cab from the main city.
Our host was very kind and atrentive - we had caught a cold and she took care to prepare delicious, nourishing meals for breakfast and dinner. The food was definitely a highlight.
The room was very comfortable and warm, very clean, and with a great bath. Can’t fault anything with our stay - would love to spend more time here!"

"It's just past the underpass, not a long walk. The navigation was easy to find. The room was very large; I felt like there was room for another bed. The room was also very new, easily qualifying as a 3-star room. I asked the front desk for a quiet room, and it was indeed quiet outside. However, there was a woman talking next door at 1 AM; the walls weren't soundproof, so I could hear her clearly. Everything else was excellent, and the price was cheap."

The focus screen range is not uniform. There is no remote control in the room. The uncle who brought the remote control did not inform in advance. The hotel is generally not an aunt. I thought it was an aunt. I still wore pajamas. The remote control I brought can't afford. I can come in, but the uncle didn't let me in and adjusted it, and I can't see anything all night. "The room was great! For a hotel I booked at around 130 yuan, I was really happy with the bed, hot water, cleanliness, and soundproofing.
My husband said that apart from the first day when we forgot to close a window and were woken up by the market across the street, everything else was perfect. We couldn't hear any noise from other guests checking in. Once the windows were closed, the market hawkers' calls were barely audible.
I found the location quite convenient. I prefer not to stay right in the tourist area. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Zhongshun Street, where there's a newly renovated riverside area with shops and snacks. Zhanggong Bridge is right downstairs, so if you don't want to go far at night, you can find food within a 2-minute walk."

"This is the most humane and warm B&B I have ever stayed in. Out of curiosity, I talked about the story of the B&B with the B&B owner, Brother Huanxi.
He originally rented this place as a studio related to Japanese trade. Because the food he cooked was delicious, he started to cook private dishes directly. He only cooked one table of dishes every night and took care of all the work by himself. He was also quite famous.
During the epidemic, he felt that everyone actually wanted to live in a house with a yard, but many people did not have this condition. It happened that he had the conditions, so he simply built it according to his own preferences. Anyway, it's an epidemic, and the worst case scenario is known, so he will slowly toss the yard. When the epidemic is over, it shouldn't be worse.
In fact, it was the nearby residents who found him and wanted to rent a house to him for a B&B. Although the conditions in all aspects were very difficult, the building itself and local policies were all problems, and he didn't have a designer, so he relied on himself to build and think, and pieced together such a warm B&B.
There are many antique furniture in the B&B. He liked it when he was young and collected a lot of them. He put them in the warehouse. He didn't do it deliberately, but when he was running the B&B, they played a role in the atmosphere of the space.
He never inspected other people's B&Bs, because for him, it expresses the life of his own family. He doesn't need to refer to other people's designs to integrate. If other people's designs are forced in, they will only become templated and cold.
He said that the photos posted on Ctrip are the most ordinary. He never posts good-looking photos, because beautiful photos are all with personal aesthetics. No matter how good you take them, it is your perspective, but when others come, they feel different from what you take, and there will be a gap in their hearts. So he would rather post the ugliest photos. If you can accept the ugliest ones, then you will feel better when you stay."

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the mountain gate. The room was even cleaner than in the pictures, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable; I slept like a baby. The front desk lady was very efficient with check-in, and the owner was incredibly welcoming, even proactively recommending a sightseeing route for me. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the value for money is just unbeatable! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Mount Emei.

I stay at this place every time I go to Mount Emei. The environment is great! Clean and hygienic! The staff are all very friendly! A special shout-out to their food – it's absolutely delicious! 👍 Fresh ingredients! Spicy and flavorful! Authentic Sichuan cuisine! My kids love it! The hotel is right at the mountain entrance, making it very convenient to get up the mountain!

We had a truly wonderful experience here. The woman who runs the place is incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect during our stay, and her willingness to assist with anything we needed was remarkable.
The accommodation itself is exceptional – beautifully decorated with great taste, everything is new, spotless, and very well maintained and clean. We also had a fantastic dinner (no spicy!), which was a lovely surprise.
What really stood out was how she looked after us during a period of heavy rain. She kept track of the condition of the road for us and gave us updates and advice on the best time to continue our journey safely.
This place is a gem, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. We felt truly cared for and will definitely return if we have the chance.

A family-run hotel, managed by a father and his daughter, who speaks English! The room was large, bright, and SUPER CLEAN. It was equipped with all personal hygiene products and had fast Wi-Fi, available both in common areas and individually in each room. The room had air conditioning, a TV, and very soft bed sheets.
The father is extraordinarily kind, and the daughter helped me in many ways. As a solo traveler, the owner's daughter allowed me to better understand the local culture, explaining Buddhist culture and the unique features of the Baoguo Temple to me.
First, I advise everyone to book the tourist bus to the peak of Mount Emeishan in advance, because tickets can sell out (as happened to me). The girl at reception was kind enough to help me purchase the ticket, making herself available to accompany me to resolve the issue. The language barrier was NOT a problem, so I advise all foreign guests to rely on this hotel.
The price paid was very low, which leads the hotel to get a full 5/5. I understand why they earned all those awards; it is definitely a hotel I would return to.
The location is an additional advantage of this hotel, just a one-minute walk from the ticket office and the tourist bus station that will take you to the top of the mountain.
Furthermore, they also offered me a free transfer service to the train station

d_donneHuajia Homestay is truly my favorite B&B at the foot of Mount Emei. The location is great and the rooms are fantastic, perfect for a short stay. It's nestled in an alley right next to the Baoguo Temple Visitor Center, just a three-minute walk. It's an excellent choice whether you're catching an early bus up the mountain or returning to rest and recuperate after a hike. The guesthouse itself is decorated in a fresh and clean style, and the rooms are spacious and tidy. The bedding is comfortable, and the facilities are comprehensive—everything is just perfect! What really stood out was the amazing service from the staff. I was exhausted from hiking and didn't want to climb stairs, so they immediately moved me to a second-floor suite. I'm truly grateful for that! 🙏

We had a great stay and felt it offered excellent value for money. The accommodation had everything we needed and was conveniently located close to Baoguo Temple, which made it easy to start our hike to Mount Emei directly from there. The host spoke English very well, was very kind, and shared many helpful tips and information. The room had all the necessary amenities. We had booked a comfort room but seemed to receive a basic queen room instead. However, the room was still fine and we had a great stay overall.

Asia Traveler from GERI recently stayed at a hotel in Leshan and was thoroughly impressed with almost every aspect of the experience. The location was excellent—just a short distance from the Leshan Giant Buddha and within easy reach of restaurants, cafes, and the riverfront. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient and enjoyable.
The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and tastefully decorated. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with directions or recommendations.
The only drawback was the limited in-room amenities. While the basics were covered, items like quality toiletries, snacks, or a stocked minibar were either minimal or missing altogether. There was also a noticeable lack of small conveniences, such as extra pillows or bottled water without having to request them.
That said, the comfort, cleanliness, and top-notch location more than made up for it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Leshan—especially those who value a peaceful and convenient place to stay over luxurious extras.

In the morning, someone would even give us a wake-up call to watch the sunrise. The room itself was nice, with two queen-sized beds, and they didn't limit the number of guests. For the three adults in our group, they even provided each of us with a bread and a bottle of milk. The bedding was clean and odorless. However, the bathroom was a bit of a letdown. We got a room with a squat toilet, and the shower area was tiny. We couldn't find any ventilation, so after using the toilet, we had to open the room door to air it out.

The hotel looks like the photos but the amenities are a little worn out. It is near the bus station and 10-15 min walk to the lift. The restaurant was good with lots of options.
The only problem is that now there is a construction work right infront of the hotel (as a matteroffact in the whole village) and they were working till 12AM and started at 6AM and we couldn't rest because of that. Also have in mind that the hotel woke us up at 4AM even though we haven't asked for it so that was also an inconvenience for us. So if you don't want to go to the peak for sunrise make sure to tell them. Also the entrance now is not where the Amap shows, but you have to go trough the bridge.
