"As a solo traveler, I booked a single room that was very affordably priced and included breakfast. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was decent, and having a coffee machine for a morning cup was a definite plus.
Although the room was small, it was spotlessly clean and even had a bathtub for soaking. The toiletries, including body wash and shampoo, were from a well-known brand (依必朗), which was a pleasant surprise.
The only minor drawback was the public swimming pool; it wasn't particularly clean and lacked on-site supervision."

The hotel lobby is simply stunning and makes you want to linger."

The Crownshine Resort is located in the famous Jiaoxi hot spring area in Taiwan. It can be reached through the snow mountain tunnel. It is about 900 meters away from Jiaoxi Railway Station and about 200 meters away from Tangweigou Tangwei Bathing Beach. Jiaoxi Hot Spring is a rare flat hot spring. It is a sodium bicarbonate spring with a water temperature of 58°C 40 meters underground. It is colorless and odorless. What is even more rare is that it is the only hot spring in the world except Italy that is rich in "titanium phenate". It has a beautifying and nourishing effect, and the skin will feel smooth and non-sticky after washing. Jiaoxi Hot Spring is rich in mineral components such as sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and carbonate ions, and is known as the "hot spring among hot springs." Hotel rooms are equipped with air conditioning, LED TV (cable channels), electric kettle, refrigerator, bathroom (with bathtub), free toiletries, bathrobe, hair dryer, and free high-speed Internet (WIFI) throughout the hotel. The hotel has a buffet restaurant, conference rooms, gym, spa and oven facilities. The front desk is open 24 hours a day and provides services such as luggage storage and wake-up calls. Parking is free The transportation is super convenient and the accommodation is the easiest. The hotel is located next to Jiaoxi Wenquangou Park. "The location is a bit tricky, but the hotel offers a free shuttle service, so if you make a reservation, getting to and from the hotel is quite easy. Aside from that, as a newly built hotel, the facilities are excellent, the room condition is very clean, and the staff are all incredibly friendly. It seems there's always at least one English-speaking person at the front desk. While communication in English can be a bit challenging otherwise, the staff's extreme kindness more than makes up for it. We had a wonderful and relaxing 3-day, 2-night stay. If I had known it would be this good, I would have stayed a few more days. The weather was a bit disappointing, but since we were mainly there for the hot springs, it wasn't a big problem. For those planning to use the hot springs, you absolutely must bring a swimming cap, otherwise, you'll have to buy one there."

"We, two adults and one child (6 years old), stayed in a city view double room on the 15th floor. Here are our thoughts:
1) The room was a bit small... there wasn't much floor space. After putting down two suitcases, there was hardly any room to walk around.
2) The bathroom door, when opening and closing, and the glass shower door made quite a loud scraping noise. If you needed to use the restroom at night, it would definitely wake up others in the room.
3) The area under the bed wasn't thoroughly cleaned; there was a visible layer of dust.
4) The in-room hot spring tub had a slight hint of moss (not very obvious).
The hot spring facilities on the 3rd floor, however, were excellent and great for kids. There's also a swimming pool. We happened to visit during the rainy season, so we were very glad to have indoor hot springs where our child could play.
The location is fantastic. We didn't purchase breakfast vouchers, and there are many eateries nearby. There's a Starbucks next door, and the bread from the bakery downstairs at the Garmalan Hotel is delicious.
Overall, it offers good value for money. Housekeeping changed towels and replenished drinks and cookies daily. Aside from being slightly a bit dated, everything else was generally okay."

"Hotel room was clean and well furnished. Staff was friendly, but no one helped us to unload our luggage when we arrived. The heated pool in the hotel is great. Kids will love it. There are many different pools, both indoors and outdoors with different temperatures. Guest would need to purchase a swimming cap before entering all pool areas. Guest can bring their own too, if they remember to do so."

If you can't offer good quality, it's better not to offer anything at all rather than serving subpar food. This is definitely a point deduction."

"This is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. It was very spacious and the staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was very clean and everything was well prepared. We were also able to check in early as we arrived slightly earlier than planned. Our stay indeed felt like we were in a spa house. No complaints at all. There is a jap restaurant just beside the hotel and it served amazing food and drinks. I highly recommend this place to everyone."

"The slow-living spa facilities are absolutely fantastic! You barely need to bring anything. Just grab a towel at the front desk, and inside there are slippers for you to change into. For showering, they provide not only body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, but even makeup remover and facial cleanser. In the vanity area, you'll find combs, cotton swabs, hair ties, and body lotion.
There are five main hot spring pools, each with a different theme, plus a fish spa pool where little fish nibble at your feet. Indoors, there's a cold plunge pool, a steam room, and a sauna. A great feature is that both the steam room and sauna are separated by gender.
They also offer complimentary iced smoothies, cold drinks, barley tea, and hot ginger tea. The hot ginger tea is sweet and delicious!"

Pool was great. Only exception was during the day it was unusable when sunny which defeats the purpose of a pool but we used it on the cloudy days.
Rooms were big and clean. Staff was friendly and kind to children
Only thing is to stay away from dinner buffet. That wasn’t a good experience but the free breakfast was standard. I hope the teppanyaki and other places were better than the dinner buffet"

"Came here once in a colder weather precovid. Facilities as good as I remembered, but coming in summer this time, I expected more cold suana pool then hot ones. Unfortunately that's not the case.
The hotel is decent but might need some upgrading (it looked the same over the years but somethings looked abit worn out/rusty). We came in group of 10 (5 rooms) and one room has bed bug..
Decent spread for the buffet breakfast. Close to train station and with many food options around!"

KKapi38Though the location is a bit inconvenient and there's no convenient shop nearby, it really served as a getaway from the city. The room is a bit small, especially the toilet, but the view is marvellous. As for the buffet, it's decent but not much changes for the 3d2n stay. There's diy workshop and evening performances to keep you accompanied for the day. In addition, the open-air hot spring bath is a must to go.

The guesthouse is beautifully designed; the first floor has a reception desk and a restaurant.
Breakfast is Chinese-style porridge and toast. The selection isn't huge, but the food is delicious.
The campervan I stayed in was small but fully equipped.
Bathroom and toilet were included. Hot water came quickly. The soundproofing was better than I expected. It's near the railway, so you can clearly see trains passing by. The train noise and vibration were acceptable. They provided Yilan-style ox-tongue biscuits.
It was a unique accommodation experience.

VVicki604I loved this hotel. It is very clean and hot spring fills up very quickly. There is a lot of variety to select from at the breakfast buffet. Only downside is there is only one very small elevator for the whole building. It will only hold 4-5 adults max. During busy times, you will need to wait for a few rounds to get on.

HHolliangelGreat experience, the indoor and outdoor hot springs and cold springs and swimming pools are very comfortable and beautiful, there are many lounge chairs, and you can also enjoy the outdoor pool at night, which is really comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast is a set menu and it's very good. The only drawback is that the bed in the room is a bit small. Everything else is perfect and I would like to go again!

Breakfast is at Art Spa Hotel instead of Resort One Hotel but front desk staff fails to bring us over when we ask for directions, thus it was a bit disappointing. The location of the hotel was great as it was a short 3 mins walk from Jiaoxi train station and a 15 mins walk from Jiaoxi Bus transfer station. Cleanliness of the room was good and the housekeeping staff were more friendly than front desk staff.
