📍 Jiaoxi Township No.67, Section.5, Jiaoxi Road, Jiaoxi Township, Yilan

"Good location with many eateries and near to the popular 奕顺轩 within walking distance, need to walk more than 10 mins to the bus terminal and 6 mins to the train station. Hotel room size is acceptable for a solo traveller and the hot spring bathtub is just nice for one person, do not expect the big bathtub. Did not offer any room cleaning during my stay, only will help to change towels and rubbish upon request. Overall the hotel is decent."

Wellspring by Silks Jiaoxi ★★★★★

📍 No.67 Wenquan Road, Jiaoxi Township, Yilan

"The location is excellent. Turn right out of the hotel and it's a one or two-minute walk to a bustling commercial street, and only 6 minutes on foot to the popular Yishunxuan bakery. It's convenient for getting around yet relatively quiet. The hotel exterior is grand, and the lobby offers complimentary drinks and snacks. It shares outdoor hot springs and a bathhouse with Just Sleep. The R floor has a fantastic regular-temperature swimming pool and two hot spring pools with great views. However, I wasn't a fan of the hotel's interior design. While the guest rooms are quite spacious, the layout felt cramped and stuffy. This is because the hot spring tub is located right by the window facing outside, and to ensure privacy, lattices have been installed, making it less open and airy. There's an air purifier in the room. Breakfast is on the 11th floor; the food is decent, but all the windows are completely covered by beige mesh screens. Only a little light can get through, so you have to turn on the lights even during the day, which isn't a great experience. The service attitude was very enthusiastic. The public bathhouse is small and the facilities are average. The outdoor hot springs are suitable for kids to play in. Overall, the value for money is just average."

Yamagata Kaku Hotel & Spa ★★★★★
"The hotel's front desk staff were very welcoming, and the parking lot security guards were super friendly too. The hotel is very close to the train station, making it easy to walk everywhere. The room was a little old but extremely clean, and the bathrobes were both comfortable and cute. The hotel has private hot springs, with each room having its own soaking tub, filled with the same hot spring water, which was incredibly relaxing. The Sanyou Ramen restaurant downstairs is delicious, and hotel guests even get a discount."

Wellspring by Silks Jiaoxi ★★★★★
"Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. One of the highlights was the private bath — perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day, offering both privacy and tranquility. The public bath was equally impressive: well-maintained and a great way to unwind while enjoying the traditional experience. The facilities were spotless, and the atmosphere made it easy to fully relax. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with the best of both worlds — the luxury of a private bath and the charm of a public one. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway."
