The architectural design and interior decoration of Yixing Meijie·Xiuju Hotel primarily embrace a minimalist and serene aesthetic, aiming for simplicity and naturalness. The hotel eschews intricate structures, opts for natural materials, and avoids vibrant hues. This harmonious blend of handcrafted elements and natural wood creates a cozy and comfortable ambiance. The hotel boasts 14 unique room types, each equipped with a cutting-edge sleep system, a hot spring pool, a spa, and one-stop butler services. Additionally, it features a 22-seat Chinese restaurant private room, a semi-buffet restaurant, a distinctive Japanese-style bar, a multimedia small conference room, a casual tea room, and an internet-famous swimming pool. Embracing the brand essence of "being wild," Xiuju's positioning falls somewhere between pastoral and mountainous settings. It offers a truly wild environment, nestled by Yunhu Lake and surrounded by bamboo forests, where natural sunlight and an ecological oxygen bar usher in a dreamy vacation life. The hotel also embraces a wild artistic vision, allowing guests to perceive the harmonious beauty of nature and architecture, and a wild state of mind, encouraging them to follow their hearts and experience each of the sixteen concepts of seclusion in a unique way.
"In fact, the surrounding environment of the hotel and the space of the hotel itself are quite satisfactory. The entire hotel uses a swimming pool as the core facility. The number of guest rooms is small and the room space is large. Compared with ordinary mountain B&Bs, it is actually somewhat luxurious. . There is also a small terrace to enjoy the sunset over the mountains.
But the only fly in the ointment is that the experience of the service team seems to be insufficient. Although remain polite and welcoming during the process. But it often seems that we are not sensitive enough or proactive enough about our guests' needs.
When checking in, I was told that the service staff would need to operate the jacuzzi to take a bath (this facility is actually quite good). But at night, there was a situation where the staff could not be contacted regardless of WeChat or landline. In the end, I had to randomly arrest people downstairs to solve the problem.
Moreover, the ”travel photography service” clearly displayed in the room or the handmade experience, free coffee and other services that are included in the price when booking are not provided. In fact, it is understandable that many B&Bs have this kind of exaggerated promotion to attract traffic, but it is still rare to see that there is not a single word from the beginning to the end.
When I finally checked out, the front desk staff almost accepted the room card without saying a word. Nowadays, ordinary business hotels are not so rude.
Regardless, I was impressed with the hotel's facilities, setting, and beautiful pool. But as a hotel priced around 2,000 a night (in fact, it has reached or even exceeded the level of some luxury hotels). It has to be said that there is still significant room for improvement in the capabilities and operational quality of its service team."
