"The views of the bay and the volcano are absolutely stunning, 'picturesque' doesn't even begin to cover it! My room type was a garden view twin, so I couldn't see the volcano or the sea. It was all about value for money, at around 600-700 RMB per night. The room was spacious enough (by Japanese standards), and the luggage rack could fit two medium-sized suitcases. The bathroom was also quite large. If you want to see the volcano, you can head to the courtyard or walk five minutes to the Shiroyama Observatory. You can soak in the large hot spring bath while looking at the volcano, but we only took a quick look around the baths and didn't really try them out, so I can't comment much. The hotel shuttle bus runs every half hour, which is pretty convenient. The city view bus stop is near the Shiroyama Observatory. Just ask the receptionist at the hotel lobby on the 4th floor how to get to the observatory; we turned left then right and it was a five-minute walk. By the way, the city view bus route is a bit winding and there aren't many buses. It's better to take the JR to Sengan-en. The JR has a stop right at the entrance of Sengan-en, and the platform itself is the best spot to view Sakurajima."

"It's about a 20-minute walk from Kagoshima Chuo Station. The Takamibaba tram stop is right in front of the bath. The large public bath is great. There aren't many washing areas, so I don't know when it gets busy, but I didn't have to wait long. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of food. It was a buffet of Japanese, Western and Chinese food. I would have preferred if there were more desserts. It was a shame that there was no cereal. The yogurt was delicious. It never gets full, but as rumored, there is quite a long queue from 6:30. The staff are not bad at all. It felt like they were doing the bare minimum."

The most disappointing thing was the large communal bath. The first word in the dressing room was ”Eh? Big? Bathhouse? ? ? ? ? It was narrow enough to become ”(^^;) There were more than 10 baskets on the shelf of 3 rows x 5 〜 6 steps. In addition, there is a washbasin that feels like a feeling and a shoe shelf that is about 1 meter wide, but when more than 3 adults start changing clothes, it is inevitable that they will be narrow and sweaty. Perhaps there are no six tatami mats in the dressing room. The bathhouse is also very narrow because there are 5 showers and ㄱ, and the hot water next to it is messed up. And what was impossible was the bottle of rinse-in shampoo and body soap provided (; ω;) I didn't want to touch it because of the black mold growing, so I wanted to soak in hot water slowly, but various parts I was worried about it and went up in about 3 minutes... And two adults came in during the change of clothes, so the dressing room became tight and sweated, and I sweated even more, and I returned to the room. It's hot in the summer bath (; ω;) The service and location are uncomplained stars 5 (rather enough stars), but we will evaluate the cleanliness facilities and amenities here ... Is it more suitable for staying alone than using it on a family trip? I thought!"
