"This hotel really stands out; its exterior is quite impressive. Every staff member I encountered during my stay was incredibly friendly. The room was clean and well-maintained, and they even brought us fruit. The large balcony was fantastic! The facilities use luxurious materials, though they do show their age a bit. The Wi-Fi wasn't great at first, but after I reported it, a staff member came very quickly to fix it. One side of the screen window wouldn't close completely; it's a minor detail, but it could affect a guest's experience, so I hope the hotel improves on that. The breakfast was very rich and varied. Overall, my experience was excellent."

"The location of this hotel is superb, close to Taihu Lake, with a good environment and convenient parking. The facilities in the room are also quite complete, and the bed is very soft and comfortable. The service attitude of the waiters is also very good, especially the front desk Xiao Cai is very enthusiastic to help solve problems. There are shopping centers and markets near the hotel, which are very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. There are all kinds of snacks next to it, which is economical and suitable for travel and business trips. In short, this accommodation experience is superb, and I recommend it to my friends to try it."

"Huzhou Giraffe Manor Hotel is, without a doubt, a fantastic place for kids. It has two main highlights: 1. You can find various small animals everywhere and interact with them up close, which is really fun. 2. During breakfast, you can get close to the giraffes and even feed them while you eat. My child absolutely loved it! However, if you're visiting on a weekend, try to get to the restaurant before 8 AM for breakfast. Otherwise, all the seats near the giraffes will be taken, and people won't want to leave – and who can blame them, haha! Now for a few drawbacks, mainly concerning the room facilities: 1. We stayed in a wooden cabin, and there was a persistent odor in the bathroom. I'd suggest the hotel place some air fresheners in the bathrooms, as the smell wasn't pleasant. 2. When the air conditioning was first turned on, there was a musty smell. It would dissipate after a short while, but we had to open the door to air it out. The downside was that opening the door let in mosquitoes, which was a dilemma. 3. Speaking of mosquitoes, they can be quite a problem during the warmer months."

"The hotel isn't very close to the city center, but there's a Wanda Plaza nearby so finding food and drinks isn't an issue. The overall decor is decent, parking is convenient, and the room itself is spacious. However, the air conditioning is absolutely terrible. In April, the room gets incredibly stuffy in the afternoon when the sun hits it, and the AC just can't cool it down. Even at night, without the sun, it's still uncomfortably hot, making it impossible to sleep with a blanket. We contacted the hotel, but they couldn't resolve the issue."

"First time visiting Nanxun, and I stayed at the landmark 'Sun' hotel – an experience that far exceeded my expectations! The exterior is grand and eye-catching, while the lobby's domed ceiling and panoramic elevators are incredibly well-designed. The room was spacious and airy, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views. The bedding was comfortable, and the toiletries were high-quality. "The service is very good. Every staff member I met greeted me warmly. Guanjiaxiu responded promptly. There is a small garden in the hotel where you can take a walk. There are two large lawns, but it was raining. There is also a water park with obstacles and electric boats to play. There is a coffee bar in the lobby, which is green and has a good view. There is a pool at the door with many fish. The children were very happy to feed the fish. The twin room can be put together. Welcome fruit was given. We played in the swimming pool. The breakfast variety is OK. The freshly cooked noodles tasted good, and the stir-fried dishes were also good. There are not many people in the hotel. It is suitable for bringing children to avoid the crowds."

"This entire hotel is a refurbished factory, and it's designed really well. Besides the standard hotel facilities, there's also an art museum and a camera museum inside. The camera museum is definitely worth seeing; it's quite impressive. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, and even though it's been open for several years, it's still very well-maintained. The breakfast is also good, with plenty of seating and a bright, airy space. The butler service is excellent; they're very attentive to your needs and maintained great communication from check-in to check-out."

LLaowaiBridgeConclusion: overall great relaxing glamping experience but lack a couple of things. I rate it 7.5/10, I would definitely recommend any laowai to go. also pet friendly as some people brought their pets. we stayed for 2 nights over the weekend during plum rain season and it was perfect sleeping under the rain pitter patter. The glamping site also have a pool and a small kids playground (nothing fancy). we stayed on a 2 bedroom tent connected by a tunnel. Food option: breakfast is provided, I'm not sure if the establishment can also provide food for lunch or dinner, but I see some people also buy what appears to be waimai, but we brought our own food and cooked on the deck under the cover with a butane stove, it was great! Activities; the site also have different activities like SUP, horse riding (with a 3rd party) and bonfire, but we didn't do it. we just walked around the site and found that it's part of a greater archeological city tourism site being GE set up. Negative: The only downsides were our tent had a bathtub but it wasn't working, the window doesn't have a block out cover and the surrounding area had some street lights to light up the tent area so some lights still get through, and some people also play loud music(since it's a tent it's not sound proof, but this can't be controlled)

GGuest UserTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed! We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving. One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home. Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

WWintend2015Before booking this resort, I honestly didn't know much about it. But when I mentioned it to friends, it turned out everyone knew it and had great things to say, which immediately raised my expectations. On the way there, the road leading up to the resort was quite dark and remote, making me a little nervous. However, the moment I stepped inside, all my worries disappeared. The environment is truly exceptional. Surrounded by mountains and tea plantations, the air is incredibly fresh, and lush greenery is everywhere. It's so quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The service is also very attentive. There are always shuttle carts available within the resort, and even for a short walk of just a few minutes, the staff will proactively offer to drive you, making getting around completely hassle-free. The resort's facilities are also quite comprehensive, with a museum, hot springs, and restaurants, covering all basic needs. The hot springs are outdoors; while there aren't many pools, they are very comfortable to soak in. The only minor inconvenience is the lack of other dining options nearby; you'd probably have to drive about 10 kilometers to find a restaurant. Overall, its strengths lie in its tranquil environment, stunning scenery, and excellent service. It's ideal for quietly unwinding, enjoying the views, and having a leisurely vacation with a high level of comfort.

We traveled with our child and pet, and I was initially worried about the inconvenience of bringing a pet. However, after checking in, all my concerns vanished. The hotel is incredibly pet-friendly; they had prepared a pet bed, toys, and pee pads in the room, and we could even purchase pet meals. Many details were very thoughtfully arranged. Moreover, pet-friendly facilities and arrangements were evident everywhere in the hotel, making traveling with a pet very easy and enjoyable. The hotel also offers a rich variety of activities, ensuring that both adults and children can find something suitable and never get bored. The surrounding natural scenery is beautiful, and the environment is very comfortable, perfect for both relaxation and for children to connect with nature. The staff were all very warm, patient, and attentive, making us feel very welcome from check-in throughout our entire stay. This trip was genuinely fun for adults, children, and pets alike; none of us wanted to go home. It's rare to find a resort that satisfies the entire family, including pets, so completely. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

{{summer}Traveling during off-peak season is truly wonderful – no traffic jams and no waiting in line to check in at the hotel. Luna was incredibly thoughtful; she proactively added me on WeChat as a concierge, so I could contact her directly with any questions. Even late at night, she'd see my messages and reply promptly. The hotel's breakfast was exceptionally generous. The handmade roujiamo (meat burger) was freshly prepared, and with one bite of the pan-fried buns, they burst with savory soup – absolutely delicious. We stayed in a lake-view room, and opening the balcony door revealed a stunning view, making us feel like we were in a natural oxygen bar. The cherry blossom trail was also breathtakingly beautiful, making us want to linger. We also got the 5 travel photos included in our package, and I even did the Baduanjin (Eight-Section Brocade) exercise twice at 9 AM. Of course, we didn't miss out on the hotel pool either. All in all, it was a truly worthwhile trip.

It had rained a few days before we arrived, so the mist was swirling, and the air was filled with a refreshing scent of grass and trees – truly therapeutic. The entire hotel seamlessly blends with the natural forest. 🎉 **So many free activities, you can't do them all!** We stayed for two days and enjoyed all these without spending a dime: ✅ Lunch ✔️ Hot spring (so relaxing after a soak!) ✔️ Boating (a small wooden boat where you paddle yourself – such a great experience!) ✔️ Kids' club (both indoor and outdoor) ✔️ Petting zoo (the little ones loved it) ✔️ Gourd-shaped outdoor playground (digging in the sand was a favorite) ✔️ Hanfu photoshoot (didn't get to try it with the kids) ✔️ Tea picking and bamboo shoot digging (we came a bit too early, so it wasn't open yet, which was a shame. I recommend coming two weeks later.) 💯 **Service is exceptional!** Special thanks to Xiao Wu! He provided transportation throughout our stay, was always on call, and was incredibly patient with the kids. He promptly attended to all our needs. Finally, a minor point: when we booked, we were told bamboo shoot digging was available, but it wasn't open when we arrived, which was a bit disappointing. It would be better if this information was clarified during booking.

EEnkeiOur stay at Naked Castle Resort was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. The hotel itself is extraordinary, beautifully designed with unique rooms that blend luxury, comfort, and nature perfectly. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated, even down to the wonderfully fragrant bath amenities that left a lasting impression on us. What made the experience even more special was the incredible team. The reception staff were consistently friendly and attentive. Nadia from the restaurant was especially communicative, informative, and always eager to help with recommendations and assistance. Willa was equally warm and professional, making every interaction pleasant and memorable. Manager Lily stood out with her quick responsiveness, kindness, and excellent leadership that could clearly be felt throughout the resort. We also truly appreciated the buggy driver who served shuttle service around the property, helpful, and ready to assist, adding another layer of comfort to our stay. Unfortunately, it rained during our arrival, which was a little disappointing because we had hoped to explore more of the beautiful surroundings and outdoor experiences the resort has to offer. Even so, the cozy atmosphere and outstanding hospitality still made our stay incredibly enjoyable. Naked Castle is not just a hotel, but an experience filled with beautiful surroundings, thoughtful details, and heartfelt service. We left with wonderful memories and would gladly return again in the future.

GGuest UserIt is beautiful! An oasis of peace! We really enjoyed it with our children! The houses are well equipped, beautiful and clean. The staff are very helpful and very friendly! The breakfast offers a delicious variety. In the afternoon there is fruit, cake and drinks for free. And in the evening you can either eat in the restaurant or order BBQ and enjoy your meal in the cosy outdoor dining area. Another positive point is that it doesn't feel overcrowded. You can really relax!

HhbgraceDidn't know where to go for the weekend, and my pre-paid package was expiring at the end of March, so I booked Xiangyue Lake a night earlier. It definitely didn't disappoint! Most of them are individual log cabins, and they surprisingly all have microwaves, fridges, and sterilizers. The environment is also great, surrounded by bamboo forests. Many activities are free, and there was even a bonfire party on Saturday night, which the kids loved. The soft play area, though small, was quite clean. Two days felt a bit rushed; we didn't get a chance to try bamboo shoot digging since it's only an hour in the morning and afternoon. I loved the bicycles; the regular ones are free for two hours, which is more than enough to cycle around the whole area. I rode twice and even took my baby to see the horses. The horses at the equestrian club were completely different from the ponies I'd seen before; my baby absolutely loved them. Next time, I'll bring the elderly and stay an extra night so it's not so rushed.

From the delightful room upgrade upon check-in to the thoughtful and attentive butler service throughout our stay, every detail made us feel incredibly welcome. The butler was both professional and friendly, always there when we needed something, yet also providing us with ample personal space—the service balance was just perfect. The hotel's location is also ideal for families; our child's highlight every day was visiting the squirrel park downstairs. Breakfast was delicious and the commute was convenient. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and look forward to our next visit!
