"Guanglu Island Xingyuewan Seaview Resort Hotel is the only star-rated hotel on the island. "Very satisfied. They arranged a pick-up and drop-off at the port, which was very friendly and thoughtful. I also really like the hotel's location; it's quiet, not directly by the sea (no worries about the smell of the sea), and some rooms have sea views. It's not close to the mountains (no worries about flash floods, mudslides, etc. during rain (I tend to be a bit of a pessimist). The rooms are also mosquito-free. A 3-5 minute walk from the hotel is a rocky beach, perfect for catching fish. The water is clear, the crowds are sparse, and the scenery is beautiful. Just around the corner from the hotel is the fishing boat harbor, which is absolutely stunning in the evening. Moon Bay is only a 10-15 minute ride on the electric scooter at the door, which is very convenient. The hotel also has an outdoor pool, which was great for letting the kids play in the sea, even if they didn't dare let them."

"As the owner said, if you want to enjoy a lively atmosphere, this place isn't for you, but if you want to experience the quiet life of a fishing village in a small courtyard, this place is definitely the top choice. First, it's a 10-minute walk from the best beachcombing spot, the salt flats. After the tide goes out, there are snails and small clams on the mudflats. We caught a ton, and the barbecue in the evening was delicious and very fresh. Because it's inconvenient to eat out, and there's no transportation, and it was raining, we booked a meal package here. I highly recommend booking a meal package here, as the portions are astonishingly large, and the taste is absolutely fantastic. Lunch consisted of 10 dishes, including a seafood platter. The most memorable dishes were the sea cucumber and two large red whelks. Dinner was a very, very good barbecue; two people couldn't possibly finish it, and I think it would be enough for two more people. There were a lot of mosquitoes, so I suggest everyone wear long sleeves and pants and spray mosquito repellent when you're outside. The facilities inside are very good and sufficient; it's newly built, and everything looks great. If your needs match the restaurant's positioning, this is a great choice. Furthermore, the shop provides punctual shuttle service to and from the island. Although the owner is not talkative, his service is excellent.
