"The room was barely on par with a hostel. The panoramic photos on the platform were completely misleading – false advertising at its finest. The pool looked like something out of a rural guesthouse. Absolutely not worth the thousand-plus yuan price. There was no room service at all; I stayed for two days and the room was never cleaned. The most disgusting part was on the first day when I asked the front desk if they could help purchase return ferry tickets. They said yes and asked us to bring our ID cards the next morning so they could buy them for us. However, when we went to the front desk the next morning, we encountered the female owner who said they couldn't buy ferry tickets for us and told us to go to the port ourselves. Her attitude was terrible and really soured our travel experience. To make matters worse, this dump of a place and the port are on opposite ends of the island. I don't understand why the front desk staff and the owner gave conflicting information – it really makes you question the business's integrity."
