"On my way home, I decided to stay at this hotel again. I've stayed here in previous years, so it's familiar and reliable, reducing the chances of a bad experience. It's pretty average:
1. The breakfast, perhaps due to fewer guests, had a reduced variety and quality compared to my last stay.
2. There's a small children's play area (a simple slide) next to the lobby front desk. My child excitedly put down their luggage and rushed downstairs to play (it was already past 9 PM). After playing for just a minute or two, they were told by staff that it couldn't be used due to some government fire safety inspection, as it would obstruct the fire doors.
Here's a suggestion: It would be better to put up a sign in advance next time, or simply dismantle it completely until the inspection is over. Otherwise, isn't it ridiculous to go through the motions of an inspection, claiming strict adherence to standards, when the play area is still there? Firstly, it was already 9:30 PM, and secondly, the issue was that the items themselves affected the opening and closing of the fire doors, not that someone playing in the area was the problem. Please get your logic straight."

"This is an older five-star hotel, and the concierge service is excellent; they proactively delivered our luggage to the room. The breakfast selection is rich, with many local Zhanjiang dishes. The room also came with drip coffee. The dinner dishes were quite tasty. The downsides are that the facilities are a bit dated, and the Chinese restaurant was understaffed and poorly lit during dinner. The sea view room only offered a partial sea view, so the effect was limited. Overall, the service was decent, but the hardware is showing its age."

"The hotel felt quite old overall, even the TV was hard to operate! 😂 However, the location is excellent. Considering it was 800 a night during the May Day holiday, everyone can decide for themselves if it's worth it.
Cons:
1. We had a partial sea view room on the 9th floor, directly facing the Garden Hotel's pool. So it wasn't a full sea view. You could get a full sea view in photos, but for a better view, I'd recommend trying to get a higher floor.
2. No mini-fridge in the room.
3. It's a storage water heater, so the water pressure is low, and you need to time your showers carefully to ensure you have enough hot water.
4. The facilities are genuinely outdated.
Pros:
1. The location is fantastic. There are two malls nearby with plenty of food options and a large supermarket. Just cross the road, and you're at Jinshawan Beach."

"The hotel is a decent five-star standard. The front desk staff were great, very warm and attentive. What really let it down was the housekeeping. The room smelled strongly of a damp, fishy odor. Housekeeping came and just 'half-heartedly' flushed the drain and opened the window. When I returned in the evening, the smell was still very strong, to the point of being nauseating. It was clearly caused by a dirty, damp mop. I called housekeeping again, and they asked me how I wanted it handled. That's when I also noticed the duvet cover smelled fishy too. After a long hassle, I was finally able to sleep, barely. Also, the room included afternoon tea from 2:00-5:00. We went at 4 pm, and they said the cake would take another hour and a half to be ready, which was too late. You could have easily prepared it and delivered it to the room instead of making excuses not to provide it, as tourists aren't going to stay in just to wait for your afternoon tea."

To be improved: 1. At present, the underground parking lot and swimming pool are not open; the swimming pool is small and shallow, only suitable for children to play;

"The room met expectations for its price point and offered a good selection of pillows. Breakfast was decent, though I wish there were more varieties of meat and fruit. There was a book in the room detailing the hotel's history and local attractions. However, it's a pity that historically significant buildings like buildings 7, 8, and 9 are not open to the public. This is particularly disappointing as building 8 is described as the hotel's historical exhibition hall and building 9 as a special exhibition called 'Forever Memories'. As a part of a 4A-rated scenic area, I believe these should be accessible to visitors. It would be even better if all buildings with special status or significance, such as building 7, could be opened for public viewing on weekdays, provided it doesn't disrupt their operations. The hot springs were a highlight, offering a rich variety including unique volcanic and basalt pools, various herbal pools, as well as wet and dry saunas, a fish spa, and massage pools. Resorts at similar price points elsewhere rarely offer such comprehensive facilities, which is definitely a plus!"

Guest UserA family of three lived very comfortable, the room was on the 23rd floor, the window was a sea view, the room decoration was very user-friendly, it was the most convenient and comfortable hotel apartment I had ever stayed in. Every day, people replace disposable bath towel sets and replenish bottled water every day. The laundry and drying machine is greatly convenient for us. Shopping in the supermarket downstairs is extremely convenient. Going downstairs and crossing the road is the beach, and there are big partners to eat oysters. In addition, free parking spaces are provided for us to park our rented car. It was a great experience and I have already recommended it to my colleagues.

Fu10du定了兩晚，因為沒太注意差異，看到同樣的房型，就直接下單了，半夜三點半入住才發現居然不是海景房，第二天協調免費換了孩子心心念唸的海景房，床品舒服，服務也很棒，進門空調就開好了，馬桶套也套好了，第二天一早去海島直接幫忙自動退房並代寄行李，讓我們在湛江的最後一天無憂出行。棒棒噠！

Due to the typhoon-induced ferry suspension, we stayed one night at Blue Whale Bay. It was a great experience. The service, cleanliness, and breakfast were all good. It's also very close to Xuwen Port, only a 7-minute walk, making ferry access very convenient. The hotel had ample parking, and the parking attendants were very responsible. I would definitely choose to stay at Blue Whale Bay again next time.

The waiters are not as professional as those in regular star-rated hotels, and the cleaning lady is a bit hard to describe. But the bedding was comfortable and the room was cozy. The concierge was very friendly and attentive.

We stayed for two nights during the May Day holiday. The mineral water in the refrigerator was already used, the room wasn't cleaned properly, there were hairs in the bathroom, the trash can wasn't emptied, and the toilet paper was used. Because of the holiday, the hotel was extremely short on food and clothing. With only twelve rooms, it wouldn't have been difficult to stock up on ingredients, right?! There were only three staff members, even in the kitchen, and they were overwhelmed. The environment wasn't as nice as the pictures. The water was extremely dirty, making it impossible to swim. The parking lot was used as an RV campsite, with very little privacy. There was a construction site nearby, making it very noisy. It was absolutely not worth the price.

KatiaJThe view from the balcony is great!!! The sofa and cushions on the sofa are dirty, decorated very simply, not at all like in the picture. The apartment is large, the lock with a code. The walls are dirty too. But the service is great! The administration immediately sent the code from the door, they came and formalised us. Very nice girl, responsive. There are no towels, only disposable thin ones. There are no toothbrushes. The sanitary units are not very good. But if you spend the night, it will do. The beds are new and clean. 😂

I bought a lot of seafood. The kitchen is separate, has natural gas, and provides cooking utensils, which is very convenient. We had dinner and gatherings on the balcony in the evening, and the sea breeze was so comfortable. It was a truly enjoyable holiday, absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend trying it. The blankets are pure white, very clean, and soft, and the air conditioning is powerful!

Anonymous UserAlthough the apartment was cheap, the hygiene was poor, so I chose the Four Points by Sheraton Wuchuan. Overall, the experience was perfect. The hotel has been open for five or six years, and the facilities are very well maintained and in excellent condition. Every corner of the room was spotlessly clean, and the public areas were also impeccable. Dali at the front desk provided efficient and friendly service, handling check-in and requests quickly and with thoughtful care. The breakfast quality was good, but the variety was lacking. Honestly, I came for the water park but it was closed, which was very disappointing; I don't know when it will reopen. There isn't much else to do here.

It was already two o'clock in the morning when we drove here from Haikou City. I hurriedly went through the formalities and slept for an hour. There was a very noisy knock on the door at the opposite side in the middle of the night. It sounded like a few people from a nightclub looking for someone. I called the front desk and said it, and then improved it. ;There is something wrong with the management of this hotel. The elevator does not swipe the card and outsiders can enter the housekeeping department casually. The security management is very poor.
