"We stayed for a total of 4 nights. The room was very good, with a super comfortable bed. The garden was well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly. Now for the criticisms: - The breakfast is more than meager, definitely not appropriate for a 4.5-star hotel. The coffee was cold, there was no muesli, the yogurt was inedible, and there was very little fruit. - The hotel is completely off the beaten path; you can't get anywhere without a motorbike or transportation. Although advertised on their website, the hotel couldn't arrange a scooter for us, even during low season. We ended up sorting it out ourselves, successfully. - An additional 21% tax/service charge is added to the restaurant prices, which guests should be aware of. - The sound system crackles constantly; it should either be turned off or repaired. - Overall, given the price of the accommodation, we expected more."

"The hotel is located on a hilltop, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the valley and popular beaches like Kuta Mandalika and Tanjung Aan from the room windows. Waking up to such a panorama is a true delight! The room is spacious, clean, and cozy. The hotel is conveniently located – close to key spots (you can reach the Pepito store in 5 minutes by motorbike), yet in a quiet area. The only slight detail is a feeling of emptiness – there aren't many guests, and the pool is often deserted, as if the hotel is a bit frozen in time. However, this doesn't detract from the stay; rather, it adds to the sense of solitude. Both sunrise and sunset can be seen from the room's balcony. Perfect for those who value views and tranquility!"

"What we loved: The restaurant food is absolutely delicious — we highly recommend their Ayam Taliwang, easily the best we’ve tasted so far! The breakfast spread is also excellent: alongside a great range of standard options, they serve Arabian roti with wonderful condiments including hummus, labneh, and baba ganoush, plus a healthy corner offering nuts, quinoa, freshly squeezed juices, and homemade jamu (traditional Indonesian herbal drink). We also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Kuta, making it easy to explore local dining and spas. Areas for improvement: - Shower water pressure is a little low. - The toilet and shower share a single door, which can be inconvenient for guests other than couples. - There are no restaurants or shops within walking distance, so a short drive is always needed."

"I have to give this a great review; too bad there aren't ten stars, otherwise I'd definitely give it a perfect score! After a four-day, three-night liveaboard trip from Komodo to Lombok, we stayed at the Novotel Lombok Resort & Villas in Kuta for four days. The hotel is beautiful, stylish, and full of charming little details. For instance, the pebble paths are adorned with mosaics of turtles and Komodo dragons, the frog-shaped lights along the pathways are adorable, and the triangular entrance archways to the villas feel mysterious (check out the photos!). We stayed in a Sasak-style villa (without a pool). The room was spacious, and the bed was especially comfortable – lying in it felt like being wrapped in a cloud, so secure and cozy. I slept incredibly well these past few days, completely recovering from the 'pain' of the liveaboard trip 😂. It's perfect for a relaxing, 'lie flat' vacation. During check-in, there was a staff member who spoke some simple Chinese, which made communication easy. However, throughout our four-day stay, we didn't encounter any other Chinese guests. It was mostly Indonesian locals, Westerners, and we did see two Koreans. In fact, when we went out to places like the Bat Cave and the cliffs, we rarely saw any Chinese tourists either. The hotel reception offers motorbike rentals. They'll call one for you, and it usually arrives in about 20 minutes. A small scooter costs 150k per day. The restaurant food was decent – you know how it is, pretty much what you'd expect. Breakfast wasn't particularly special. For à la carte meals at other times, the Kung Pao Chicken and Sichuan Beef we tried were pretty good. They're definitely not the standard authentic Chinese preparation, but the taste was enjoyable. For two people, two dishes plus drinks cost roughly 180 RMB per meal (Qris Alipay is accepted). One evening, they forgot our order, and we waited for 40 minutes. The chef personally came to apologize and offered us free ice cream. Overall, the service attitude was excellent, and the staff were all very enthusiastic. If you register as a Novotel member, the hotel's Wi-Fi is super fast. The in-house spa is a little bit on the pricier side, but the massage techniques are good, and the best part is you don't have to go out looking for one. The hotel has its own beach, and next to it is a small hill perfect for watching both beautiful sunrises and sunsets (see photos). On our last day, while watching the sunset from the hill, a little black dog ran up and sat beside me, accompanying me as I watched the sunset [crying emoji]. Anyone understand that feeling? The world instantly felt quiet and peaceful. It's about a 15-minute motorbike ride from the hotel to Kuta town, which is very convenient. Shopping and dining spots there also accept Qris Alipay (though some convenience stores don't). We ate at a Chinese restaurant called 'Jiangnan'; their Spicy Chicken was delicious, and the cold wood ear mushroom salad was perfectly seasoned (though the peanuts were raw, which made me laugh). You can also order takeaways via Grab, and riders accept Qris payment upon delivery."

"꾸따 지역은 호텔을 잘못 선택하면 새벽에 모스크 기도 소리 때문에 잠을 설치는 경우가 많은데, 이 호텔은 창문만 닫아두면 소음이 거의 들리지 않아 편안하게 잘 수 있었습니다. 직원들과는 왓츠앱으로 소통했는데, 응답이 빠르고 요청 사항도 신속하게 처리해 주었습니다. 무엇보다 직원들이 모두 친절해서 머무는 내내 기분 좋게 지낼 수 있었습니다. 호텔 내 마사지와 음료 가격도 외부와 차이가 나지 않아 굳이 밖으로 나갈 필요가 없었습니다. 전체적으로 만족도가 높은 숙소였습니다. 가장 마음에 들었던 점은 호텔 분위기였습니다. 리조트 곳곳이 차분하고 힐링되는 느낌이라 휴양하기에 정말 좋았습니다. 특히 수영장 구조가 독특한데, 가장자리에 기대어 누워 있으면 여유롭게 쉬기 좋았습니다. 객실에는 프로젝터가 설치되어 있어 영화를 보며 시간을 보내기 좋았고, 조식도 종류가 다양하고 맛있어서 만족스러웠습니다. 전체적으로 다시 방문하고 싶을 만큼 만족스러운 숙소였습니다. 아쉬운 점은 첫날 공항 픽업 서비스를 예약했는데, 어떤 문제가 있었는지 차량이 나오지 않았다는 점입니다. 다행히 호텔 측에서 사과의 의미로 케이크를 선물해 주었고, 이후 응대도 성의 있게 해주었습니다. 공항 픽업을 이용할 예정이라면 전날 한 번 더 왓츠앱으로 예약이 정상적으로 확인되었는지 확인하는 것을 추천드립니다."

"So the hotel is nothing special... and as for the rooms, I ended up on the 5th floor on one side where they didn't even make a window... there is a glass door but you can't open it, only air conditioning... a hell, highly inadvisable and the wifi sucks."

"This hotel is located about a kilometer from Kuta town, right next to a motorcycle racing track, nestled in a small local village surrounded by local homes. The hotel is relatively new, with over ten villas and new sections still under construction. The room types mainly consist of rooms without private courtyards and pools, villas with private courtyards and pools, and pool villas that can accommodate four people. There's a small hotel pool, but the water quality seemed mediocre to me. We booked a standard pool villa, but since it was the off-season, the hotel typically upgrades rooms, so we were upgraded to a premium pool villa (the difference being an additional dressing room). During peak season, the price is quite low, around 600 RMB per night including breakfast for two, offering excellent value for money. The hotel staff are very accommodating, communicating with guests via WhatsApp for breakfast orders, housekeeping, and other various matters. Breakfast at the hotel is à la carte; you can choose one main dish, a fruit platter, a coffee, and a fresh juice. You can also opt to have it delivered to your villa, and the breakfast is really good. Additionally, the hotel offers motorcycle rentals (the cheapest being 90,000 IDR per day, slightly more expensive than outside) and also provides laundry service and private car charters to various destinations."

"We liked to be here, there were 5 or 6 nights. Every day was cleaned very well, the staff was friendly and always helped us, on the territory of his restaurant, everything that ate - was delicious, for breakfast choice was quite good. Every evening they spent on the patio or the veranda of the restaurant - played cards (in access for guests, as well as playing uno and books in different languages) and just communicated, for the chill a great place. There is a parking lot for bikes with security. Used the laundry service - everything is cool, washed, dried and very neatly folded. There is also a transfer to different places from the hotel. The area is green and beautiful, the pool has not been used, it is small, the pool has a good zone and for the sun, and a zone in the shadow. There is a cooler, cups, tea. The room was straight good, all the time the downsides have not noticed. The only thing that without a bike will certainly be uncomfortable - to the center on foot will go uncomfortable. In general, I recommend, I liked everything."

"The room was nice and clean, but it was incredibly noisy – even at night, you could hear everything from the street, like very loud cars and music. The hotel can't really be blamed for that. Across the street, there's a grocery store, which is really convenient. There are also quite a few dining options around."

"For the last few days of my Indonesia trip, to escape the crowds of Bali, I came to Lombok to slow down and recuperate. I stayed one night at the Sheraton in Senggigi, and the service was so attentive, detailed, and thoughtful that it was unforgettable. Arriving at this hotel, there was a huge drop-off in experience right from the moment we walked in. First, it was very unusual for them to take us to our room with our luggage to check-in. They led us to a small room on the second floor in a corner of the backyard. It was so tiny that there wasn't even space to open our suitcases. After completing the formalities, they opened the curtains and told us they were sorry, but there was construction going on at a neighbor's site outside the window, which might be disturbing. I said that wasn't right; I had clearly booked a mountain view or garden view room, which was also larger than this. This was obviously not the room I booked. My husband spent a long time discussing it with the check-in staff, and they agreed to change our room. They showed us a larger room and said we'd have to pay extra, which we didn't accept. We insisted on a room with the same conditions and price as our original booking. We then had to wait in the courtyard for a long time again. Finally, we were moved to a room that was more or less comparable to what we had booked. It felt like there was a clear差別待遇 (differential treatment) between Chinese tourists and Caucasian tourists; if you don't argue your case, you'll be assigned the worst rooms that don't meet booking standards. After that, the service attitude was still acceptable. However, the next day, I asked the housekeeping staff for two extra bottles of water. When I returned to the room, I saw a trash can filled with two bottles of water placed on the bed. I don't know what that meant. I originally wanted to be more eco-friendly and not change the bedding, but now I had no choice but to ask them to change all the linens. The hotel's location is quiet yet convenient. The design style and interior space are quite good, and the breakfast at the restaurant has long serving hours and decent taste. It's not far from the beach, and it's convenient for shopping and dining nearby, but the overall prices are a bit high."
