Hotels in Yongkang Market Place, Taipei

The hotel boasts an ideal location, right next to Dongmen MRT Station Exit 8, which features convenient elevator access. This makes it super easy to explore Dongmen Market and Yongkang Street. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served buffet-style, and they even offer made-to-order omelets, though please note these are not available on Sundays.

Hotel room is clean as always- their housekeeping staff is doing a great job! Usu late check-out is not permitted- esp if you are not their VIP. Their front desk staff chose to call at 11:38 am, just to remind that I have to check out by noon. But just one min ago i talked to the lady next to him, asking for 12:30 check out & was granted an extra 15 min (12:15 pm check-out). Turned out I left by 12:03 pm. Noted that their housekeeper would not clean my room right away, I just hope they could consider greater flexibility in late check-out policy. View from the park is superb as always. This time found that sound insulation is so-so. It stops after mid-night tho.

The hotel is located in the center of the city. The area is considered a wealthy area, next to Da-An District Police Station which makes it extra safe. The area is mainly residential, not as busy as nearby other shopping districts, but close enough to enjoy shopping, it is also within walking distance to Da- An City forest Park where local residents and to tourists enjoy. The slight downside for travelling is only buses running through; the closest MRT station is about 10 minutes walking which is not too bad. My room was big and clean; the house keepers changed the dirty towels every day. The hotel doesn't provide tooth brushes or toothpaste. The one thing to consider as a little disappointing is that breakfast; normally the hotel at this level provides at least 3-4 different fruits to choose from, but here only 2 (mainly citrus fruits; this is a bit poor to consider Taiwan is such fruit heaven); there are no pastries besides breads; the western fried eggs are far too watery. I gave the service 4 stars only because the staff serving breakfast looks bored and not happy in the morning. Also clean the table while you are still consuming your food which is not professional. In general, I still enjoyed the stay and would like to return again in the future.

The room is well sized and bathroom is big. Facilities are kept in good condition. The bed is comfortable and they provide snacks for the guests in the room which adds a nice touch. The hotel is like 10 metres away from one of the train exits Daan Park station which is convenient. The staffs are also helpful and polite, makes my stay a memorable one.

Staff was polite and very welcoming. I love that Taiwan doesn't have vaping. The walls here are a bit thin, in the middle of the night if your neighbors are loud or if you wanna sleep in? You hear a lot. But to be honest, Taipei is a loud city anyway, so you gotta roll Leith the punches. The location is great, metro station right outside. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy your stay here.

This is a great value accommodation in Taipei. It's well-equipped with amenities and has a delicious breakfast. It's very close to the Taipower Building MRT station. There's also an Ubike spot nearby, making it easy to bike to the Shida Night Market or the MRT. It's perfect for solo travelers or city exploration. The only downside is that it's so popular that it's almost impossible to book a reservation later. (QQ)

Being a new building, there was no particular smell or humidity. I stayed for two nights and there was no cleaning during the stay, but if you bring your own towels they will replace them. While toilet paper was provided in the bathroom, I felt it was dangerous to rely too much on the quality of the paper and the water flow. The front desk staff were straightforward, so I don't think you should expect hospitality. Amenities included shampoo, liquid soap, towels, a hairdryer, and a kettle. While there were no other amenities like mineral water, there was a water dispenser in the elevator hall. The walls were thin, so conversations could be heard, so be careful if you have company in the next room. There was a Family Mart on the first floor, which was convenient.

A very good location hotel, near Da-An Forrest Park and MRT station, that is worth to book. Services are splendid for English speakers. Facilities are well organized either inside the room or in the donning room. Good choices of breakfast.

The place is good and quiet. You can really get the rest you needed. They also clean your room everyday, for 6 days! The free coffee and snacks are great. It's near a 7eleven and 2mins walking distance to Daan Station. Overall, we enjoyed and loved our stay. We will surely come back!

1) Choosing this place, mainly because it is close to Daan Forest Park, I wanted to go for a run in the morning 2) The room is very comfortable, the bed is soft and hard, the pillow size is moderate, so I can have a good sleep.
